The food and service was excellent, would recommend to anyone!!
Churchill' is always great. Good food and good ambience. We shared a Porterhouse and it was wonderful. We will be back.
I took my brother to Churchill's, as he was visiting from out of state. I wanted to treat him to a special place, but I had never had dinner there before. A few years ago I went for happy hour, and I inquired about dining upstairs. I was told how they show the different steaks and have you cut into the steak once it's served. It reminded me of the excellence of Morton's or Ruth's Chris'. But I was so disappointed taking my brother, as nothing was done like I thought. My steak looked fine, but was actually not real tender. He commented that he thought it was going to be better. The server served the entree, but didn't check back for some time to ask how our meals were. Maybe it was an off night.
The food was good, our server was outstanding, informative and pleasant. I order the honeysuckle ? it tasted like a honey cough drop, very disappointing. My friend order a different drink but I cant think of the name, it wasn't much better. The drinks are extremely over priced! The piano playing was the high light of the evening.
Excellent service, excellent food.
Was more impressed the last time we dined here. Must have hit an off night. Still good, just not as great.
Churchill's was the perfect place to enjoy our anniversary! The food was fantastic, the drinks were perfection, and the service was great.
We have enjoyed Churchill's 3 different times on trips to Spokane. the food is fantastic, the service is fantastic and the Chocolate Sack is tremendous. Cheers to all who go they will not disappoint.
Without a doubt the finest steakhouse in the Inland Northwest. I would venture to say it is on par or betters the Metropolitan Grill in Seattle. This was my first time in two years and the fourth or fifth time in the past 10 years. As always, the staff, ambiance, and food are absolutely top notch.
The best steakhouse ever! I learned more about meat than expected. I had requested a cake for my granddaughters 18th birthday but they were unable to accommodate this. The manager came to the table and informed me that he was unable to get the cake but would give a complimentary dessert for her. it was fantastic. What a great place. I am going to take my husband there.
Excellent food and our waitress was incredible. Will always make Churchill's a must when visiting Spokane.
Took my friend for her birthday! My favorite steakhouse so I wanted my friend to experience the joy I do when I dine here!
Steaks are fabulous and the salads are great! The 'sides' are ok and really not needed. It's nice that they offer a corking service allowing you to bring your own wine.
Thank you for making my moms "93rd" birthday so special. She loved the steak dinner the delicious shrimp cocktail & of course the lemon drop to toast her special day. The Creme Brûlée with a lit candle was a great dessert!
We also appreciate being seated upstairs vs downstairs with age related issues.
As always, we will be back!!! You have a terrific staff from the time we walk in the door until departing.
Thank you,
Lisa & family
Service was exceptional and everyone's meal was prepared to perfection. A must visit for a nice evening out or to impress friends.
The food and service was exceptional! Everyone in our party was in agreement that this was an excellent choice for good quality, outstanding steak choices.
By far one of the best steak restaurants in the country. I live in the New York metro area with the best steak restaurants in the world. I rate this just as high as Peter Luger and The Palm and Del Frisco.
This is the second time we dined at Churchill's. The steaks are good, but over salted. The real reason for my poor review is the service is just awful for the following reasons.
1. Incredibly slow
2. Never checked on us
3. Delivered food without any presentation of what Was being served
4. Never refilled our wine, so we had to continue poring ourselves
5. Took the dirty silverware off our plate and set it on the tablecloth before the entree came. Had to ask for new silverware
6. Didn't bring two of our guests drinks and had to remind the waiter to bring them
7. Had to ask for water refills
8. Served a couple of the men their dinners before the ladies
9. Left plates for a rediculous amount of time. I started handing to the waiter myself
Just a very frustrating evening. We won't be back.
New York strip was tasty. Service was slow and not as attentive as previous visit.
Other than a 15 minute wait after our initial greet, the meal was near perfect. Trevor was friendly, timely, and had extensive knowledge of the menu. I would recommend any of the steaks which are wet and dry aged and cooked to perfection in a 2000 degree broiler. Expect high prices, but well worth it in my book.
My husband and I went for our anniversary and the food was amazing!! Sincerely one of the best steaks I've ever had; though it was a bit on the edge of being too salty. We made reservations a week out but still found ourselves at the table nearest the kitchen and above the stairs--maybe some people enjoy being in the middle of everything, but I wasn't a fan. The smoked salmon appetizer was great for two and the asparagus, snap peas and mashed potatoes were all prepared perfectly. The wait staff were friendly and helpful.
Best steaks we ever had, , and we've been to some pretty great steakhouses. In fact, they've spoiled us for all other steaks. The cocktails were delicious, the garlic mashed potatoes creamy and wonderful, and the sugar snap peas very good, but the steaks were phenomenal.
Neat and classy steakhouse. The food is a little expensive for preparation, presentation, taste, and quality received. The wine list, although fairly represented globally, is seriously marked up, well over 200%. Instead of a 2, 3 or 400% markup, start thinking about volume or a fixed cash margin on all wine. Sales volume will increase as prices become more reasonable and people are more apt to purchase glasses or bottles with their meal. At any price point, wine should be stored and served properly. The bottle of classified Bordeaux that I ordered was way too warm. Great venue, solid, attentive service, and good steaks.
Amazing cuisine, ambiance, and service! I would recommend this restaurant for a fine dining experience whether it be a special occasion or everyday dining.
Excellent experience and accommodation. We were celebrating our 35 wedding anniversary.
Exceptional food no matter what you like to eat.
Churchill's was fantastic! Everyone I've talked to since moving to Spokane has directed me there. They were definitely right! One of the better steaks I've had. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly cooked, and the side of potatoes was on point, as well. The cocktail menu is very innovative and has something for every taste. My wife and I will definitely eat here again.
Chairs are warn and very uncomfortable with the dinning experience being extremely slow. The wait staff was very good and food was great. The bar was slow and they had a hard time making my wife the Huckleberry - Lemondrop Martini from their cocktail menu, both made for her were missing the Huckleberry, they were just plain old lemondrops. Be careful of the parking, it not a part of the restaurant and isn't free any time....I learned my lesson the hard way and got a ticket!
Dependably fine food. This place is all about the beef. But their sea food options are excellent. Great ambience and service. Typically there is a pianist in the downstairs bar, and the music carries nicely tonhe main floor dining room. It's a little pricey for our area, but we keep going back.
The steaks were great. We went for anniversary and I indicated this when I made the reservation but they did not recognize such. The table we sat at, I was so far away from my husband that trying to talk to each other during meal was really impossible. I had asked for an intimate booth but that was not honored either. It felt awkward during dinner and I guess I had different expectations so I was kind of let down. For the price, I did not really feel it was worth all of that cost but still would give the food an excellent rating.
Great service and an amazing experience all together. Food was incredible. They even show you samples of the steak cuts to assist you with your decision. We had a wonderful experience.
We were there for "mis-steak night" and couldn't have had a better meal. Our server Robert was on top of everything all night. The prime rib was superbly seasoned and done to perfection. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
The best steaks I've had in years! If we want steak this is the only place we go.
The food was superior and the service was excellent. We had a great evening and would recommend it for your special occasions.
Food, staff and evening was wonderful!
It was a lovely evening. The server was friendly and attentive without being annoying. The food was delicious and the steaks prepared perfectly!
Scheduled my son's Whitworth College graduation dinner for 8 last Sunday. Everything was wonderful. Definitely a great "steakhouse" experience. Server was awesome. Recommend them highly!
Food is wonderful - among the best steaks we've eaten. Service was great - Trevor added to our experience.
Their steak and lamb chops were amazing. The pairing with garlic mashed potatoes was a little lame, we had to order 2 sides of veggies, and haven't touched on the mashed potatoes. I with they gave us more choices for the sides that came with the meat. But the meat was outstanding! I would go back there again with the rest of my family.
Good steak joint in downtown Spokane. They really need to rethink their policies though. Ordered a Scotch and they wanted to charge me an extra $2.00 for n iceball. Sure I'm drinking Monkey Shoulder, but they got to know that customers are easily dropping over 100 a person on dinner. Why nickel and dine your clients? They get the ice mold free from MaCallan or wherever so it's not like it cost them anything.
