Made a reservation and staff stated it was much appreciated. I'm guessing it helps them with labor issues. Everything is still as good as it was pre-pandemic, but not as busy during our visit. Food, drinks, and service continue to be top notch. Keep up the good work.

We LOVE your breakfasts! I have the banana foster French toast, which brings me back all of the time! My husband has eggs Benedict. He says you have the best hollandaise ever!

I have eaten here may times and have given them 5 stars in the past. Yesterday was disappointing. I have had the seafood gumbo previously and thought it was awesome. Last evening I decided to try the large (pint) size as a meal. I could not find any evidence that there was any seafood in the gumbo. I mentioned it to the waiter who confirmed that it was the seafood gumbo. The prices are much better than most places I have dined at so I have to say it is still a good value, but calling something seafood gumbo with no seafood is not appropriate.

My husband had the two egg breakfast with ham was very good. I had the egg sandwich with bacon on wheat toast which was delicious. Service was a little slow but since they were busy we expected the service to be a little slow. We will return.

Another visit to Chuck's that delivered the same consistent element. Lackluster service and lukewarm food. I've been here several times (more than 10 over the years) and each time it yield's the same thing- food not brought to the table in a timely manner and arriving lukewarm. This time a new server ( super unsure of what he was doing) added to the angst. I understand the affects of COVID on businesses but this has been going on way before the pandemic. I will say that carry-out orders result in a better experience since the packaged food helps stay warmer.
