Everything was great
Dinner never disappoints. Thirty somethings with us thought somewhat pricey but very tasty. Will go again.
This is our GO TO restaurant & usually it is GREAT! Husband & I ordered 1 cup of habanero soup (which is the best) , smoked turkey special, and rib tips. We were half way into eating our soup, 5 mins after our food order was placed, when our entrees came out of kitchen!!! Yes, we felt rushed! But more important, I realized our food had to have been microwaved! There is no way that his rib tips were cooked fresh! My smoked turkey dinner had a side of stuffing that tasted a bit freezer burn.....next time will stick to the Chicken Fried Chicken, which is prepared fresh!
BTW, the restaurant was not crowded around 8pm, so no reason for rushed service
Had lunch with a client. Service, food and environment were great
Very good food and service. Love the rib tips!
Adrian’s service was outstanding!
Place has changed not the food it used to be! Maybe Chuck is getting too big for his britches! Place was empty for a Saturday night!
The waiter was awesome!
Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. Chuck's has changed the breakfast schedule to weekends only. It was a very good turnout! Will try some of the new breakfast items next visit.
The dining room was fairly quiet since most of the clientele were in the bar watching college basketball. There is a new menu with some interesting items - I had already made up my mind to try the Chuck's burger - it was larger than expected. It was very delicious. Also tried the new grilled mixed vegetables as a side - there was no issue with my request to add jalapenos. My guest had the 3-meat combo, and took some home. A very nice meal. Always enjoy Chuck's!
New menu with some all time favorites now missing and will be periodic specials according to our waiter. Tried the shrimp and grits and not a fan. Grits were overcooked and the cajun seasoning was overpowering. Might have just been an off night. Will try it again. Chuck's is usually on top of their game.
Great food. Great prices. Good staff. Very clean. Love it every time.
We went for the ribs and were not disappointed...they were delicious. On tap beer was also a hit.
Always a good time
The food was great , their peach cobbler was amazing. Most definitely going back soon
Good food and service was great. Entertainment was different. We sat wondering if our cars were damaged when a truck decided to try and drive under the canopy. I feel that since our cars were blocked in for a bit until they moved the truck out of the way we should’ve been compensated some how. We actually waited about a half hour until we felt it was safe for us to leave.
Enjoyable time & meal.....just wish Joe was part of experience!
The absolute most amazing dinner! Best ever! Tasty. .fast..fun!!
Enjoyable, as always.... will return
We had a great breakfast and a great time at Chuck's. They made some changes to the menu, changes to hours, and changes to days that breakfast is available. It was a very busy morning, with a very steady stream of customers. A very lively morning.
Only had different buffets so far, but good quality and would definitely go back.
Server came, (never gave us his name but we sat on the west end on the building an aisle away from the wall) took our drink order, someone from the bar brought our beers. Came back for our food order which was brought out by the kids from the kitchen and never came back again. We had to flag him down for the bill and he still never asked how our food was. He missed out on a larger tip b/c we wanted another beer each and possibly a dessert. I rarely tip less than 20% but did 15% so that he could tip out the bar and busboys He sure came back to pick up the check though. Luckily, the food was fantastic as usual
Burbank has the best hidden gem!
The Valentine's Day Dinner Special was delicious! The pork chops were excellent. The dessert had the perfect chocolate taste to complete the meal.
We love coming to this restaurant they never disappoint with food and service, specially today Valentines Day Date Night...
Delicious food and service you can always count on.
We went on a double date. We choose this restaurant because it was close to home and it was on the list for restaurant week. The food was pre-made and had been sitting from the looks of it. The gravy had lumped up and was surely microwaved. I will never go here for a meal again. The only good thing was, while waiting on our table, the time in the bar was pleasant and the drinks were great.
Had a very nice visit.... will definitely return
Delicious food!!!! Awesome breakfast!!! ALWAYS PLEASING!!!!
Had the Restaurant Week Menu, but should have just ordered off the menu and it may have been a better experience. The salad was the best course. The grits were too stiff and clumpy, mac n cheese was dry, and the hummingbird cake was very disappointing. Obviously massed produced in a factory and frozen. More cream cheese frosting than hard, dry cake.
Attended Jazz Beignet Breakfast Buffet. Food was good but kitchen could not stock the food fast enough for the amount of people dining.
The food was great as always. Service was a little slow and they had a lot of people for the buffet seated in the main dining room instead of the Voodoo Lounge, which was where the buffet was setup. There were tons of empty tables in the Lounge but we did not have an opportunity to sit there, so we had to get our food and walk all the way across the restaurant and through people waiting to be seated, to our table. It was a bit disorganized. Other than that it was fine.
I went to Chucks for Restaurant Week. This was a return after an amazing experience there in 2016. This year I was extremely disappointed. The only thing I enjoyed was the Poblano soup with Shrimp. The shrimp and grits was cold and was overwhelmed with tomato sauce. They were out of the brisket so I had the salmon which had very little flavor. And finally the hummingbird cake was dense, way to sweet and was cold like it had just come out of the refrigerator. Very disappointing after such an amazing prior experience.
Great food. Great service!! Will definitely return!!
Chicken wings were terrible. They were to big and slimy. It was freezing in the restaurant we had to eat with our coats on. Will not be visiting here again sorry Chuck’s.
Our go-to for a casual nite out! LOTS of menu changes! Tried the onion ring appetizer & it was fantastic! Our favorite is the chicken fried chicken entree! Sometimes we get a little piece of chicken and small portion of beans....this time we both had a beautifully cooked breast & big portion of beans! I don't know who was cooking, but it was delicious!
Server was attentive and did not rush us!
I went here for restaurant week. The poblano soup was supposed to have shrimp. No shrimp just corn and green beans. The shrimp and grits were not that great. The shrimp were very spicy. No garlic butter sauce like the menu stated instead it was some type of red sauce. The grits were stiff and not creamy. Not sure if I would go back and try something else.
I had the smoked chicken. It was awesome!
The food was delicious and the lemonade was TASTY. The only complaint was we called the restaurant to say we were looping the parking lot and were going to be late because there was no availability (it's residential permit parking only on the street). Instead of the employee saying there is parking across the street they just said okay!
Food was great! Found on list during restaurant week. Will be back.
