A memorable dining experience awaits you as you enter the Christy Hill Restaurant in the center of Tahoe City. The restaurant sits just 100 feet above the shoreline of Lake Tahoe on an elevated embankment offering diners a panoramic vista. The intimate setting offers guests a view that is only upstaged by the cuisine. Spectacular sunsets that can be seen from every table is just one of the many reasons that Christy Hill was voted "Most Romantic Restaurant" by the San Francisco Chronicle.

Christy Hill is one our favorite places to dine when we come to Lake Tahoe. The food is fabulous and the service is great. And the view of the lake is spectacular.

We had an intimate seat where we were looking over Lake Tahoe. The service was perfect and the food was amazing (cooked to perfection and properly seasoned). Coffee and dessert finished off the meal superbly. The wine list was great and contained a couple of my favorites. I recommend this restaurant to every person who is looking for a meal far above standard fare.

This was our 3rd time to christy hill and it was our anniversary. The food was amazing as was the wine. And the views can’t be beat. The waiter was knowledgeable and down to earth. I love this place

The food is borderline Michelin star. Good service, nice ambiance but quite loud for a restaurant.

We went for my husband's birthday, and we weren't disappointed. I had the asparagus soup and the bison ribs, and my husband had the trout salad and the bistro steak. We received an appetizer and birthday dessert "on the house". We were served by our favorite waiter, who recommended excellent wines, as usual. They have a special menu of garlic-free dishes, which my husband enjoyed, since he's allergic. We'll certainly go back again!

We were one of only 4 tables at the restaurant because of a mega blizzard that night. Everyone at the table was certainly happy that we decided to head out for the night and not ride out the storm at home. it was a great meal, wonderful service and a fantastic view. The food options are great and all had amazing presentations along with great flavors. We will be back!

Christy Hill is an outstanding restaurant. In the summer, their outside dining has a great view of the lake. Year-round their food is excellent. In terms of food and service, Christy Hill and Lone Eagle Grille (at the Hyatt in Incline) are perhaps the two best restaurants on Lake Tahoe, and certainly among the top few.

It was good but wasn’t blown away. Was expecting that they would have a full bar or even a more extensive wine list.

I took my girlfriend here for her birthday and we loved every part of it. We had a nice booth facing the water, the service was amazing and they treated us to a wonderful piece of bread pudding. We will definitely be coming back. Thanks Christy Hill!

Great experience!! We were late for our reservation and the hostess very politely accommodated us. This was probably easier to do this particular night bc it was slower due to a snow storm, but I still felt like she went out of her way to help us. Server was great- friendly and offered good advice on food selection. Great atmosphere! Hope to come back for the sunset views and will definitely recommend to friends!

I love this restaurant. Like most resort towns, a lot of the food is mediocre and overpriced. While the menu isn't cheap the food and wine is worth it. The service is also consistent and professional. Lastly, you can't beat the view. This is old school comfort food - which is perfect for the ambiance.

The service was extremely slow and the friendliness of the staff was obligatory . The Dungeness crab small plate was served and I was immediately hit with a very fishy smell. When I let the waiter know very politely he carefully chose his words by saying "your not enjoying it then ?" The appropriate response would of been I am sorry can I get you something else. In the end, he did take it off our bill without us asking. Who would enjoy stinky crab that the table next to us could smell? The main entrees were way over salted which is the sign of a weak chef. With that being said, I was so hungry and thought the main entrees were good enough. The service was painful slow that dessert was not an option. I would expect more for the prices being charged for this restaurant. Maybe we caught them on a really off night but I won't be going back.

Love this place, but this time it didn't hit the high marks we usually give it. I always get the pan roasted gnocchi as an appetizer. It needed more salt and more broth. I had to request bread and butter, which I love to sop-up the broth with. The bib lettuce salad was a good start too. My sweetie got the branzino fish, lovely preparation and flavor. It hit the mark. On the recommendation from the waiter (between two chicken dishes) I go the apricot braised chicken. It was a new dish to me and I love trying new things. It sounded great with the apricot and pasta. The pasta was cooked al-dente, which is what I love, but the flavor fell short, it wasn't sweet, or salty or peppery or spicy. It was bland! Oh well, guess it was an off night, but we still love this place and we'll definitely come back. I'll ask for salt at the table, just in case.

Beautiful view!! It’s one of the nicer places in Tahoe city. Food is a little pricey for what it is. I had the gnocchi it was ok, I prefer mine lighter and theirs are huge and doughy. My mom had the dinner portion of scallops which were only 3, we were confused as to how many you would get for the small plate portion and the veggies it can with were shredded (which was not expected). We had the chocolate croissant bread pudding and the spice cake which were delicious. The staff was very nice, overall a good experience!

We dine here on an annual basis as it's a bit of a drive from Sacramento. It not far from Northstar and getting "first seating" is always possible with a reservation. The food is fantastic, the service is professional and friendly.
