A memorable dining experience awaits you as you enter the Christy Hill Restaurant in the center of Tahoe City. The restaurant sits just 100 feet above the shoreline of Lake Tahoe on an elevated embankment offering diners a panoramic vista. The intimate setting offers guests a view that is only upstaged by the cuisine. Spectacular sunsets that can be seen from every table is just one of the many reasons that Christy Hill was voted "Most Romantic Restaurant" by the San Francisco Chronicle.

Lovely location right on the lakefront. Gorgeous place to enjoy the sunset and early evening. Food is wonderful, always innovative, yet delicious. Best of all, they always seem to have the Sticky Toffee Pudding, the best dessert in the world.

The view was nice but the service was slow. We didn’t see a waiter for almost 15 minutes after being seated. We had to continually ask for water. For $120, I expected a better all around experience.

Christy Hill never disappointed. We visit every year when we visit Lake Tahoe area. Food, service, and ambience are unbeatable. Very romantic setting with GTEAT view of Lake Tahoe. We have been to many restaurants in the area and Christy Hill takes the prize for upscale dining.

We were excited to go to Christy Hill because it had been recommended to us and it's such a scenic spot. The food was good, the atmosphere was beautiful, but the service was subpar. The hostess was quite rude when we checked in. Our waitstaff were extremely cold and unpersonable. It was very disappointing and upsetting. We would not return to this restaurant.

We have been a few times, and we always love it. This time, service was a little slow. My coffee was cold when it was served after dinner so this was disappointing. It was a holiday week so I am sure all employees were busy. Beautiful restaurant, great food, and incredible view!

The staff seemed out of it. Took forever to get a server. Once he was there he was ok. No one seemed to know what the other was doing. Desert was very small don’t bother sharing. We were 90% finished with our meals when one of our foursome finally was delivered there recooked steak since he received too rare. 😢

We just love this restaurant, every time we are in Tahoe we have a meal here. The food is amazing and we are always treated fantastic. Our favorite waiters are J.B and Ben and even if they aren't our waiters that particular night, they come by and say hi. This is a place that you must go when in Tahoe.

This is a special occasion place. Great for celebrations. The food is creative. The portions are not big like in any upscale restaurant. We liked that the service was prompt. Nice staff. Everything was delicious including "house made ice cream". We highly recommend this restaurant for foodies.

Not really worth the $$. We got one appetizer, two ceasar salads, two entrees, one dessert, and a bottle of wine and the bill was $200 with tip. The food was not really that great, and the service was "just O.K". I think my money is better spent at the River Grill. I will not be returning.

This was an amazing restaurant with spectacular views in Tahoe City. Highly recommended. I'm a vegetarian and eat a largely plant based diet. The food was not the same old options. The food was creative and delicious. The wines were good too. Sitting on the patio/balcony watching the sunset enjoying a quality meal & sipping wine with my hubs was wonderful. The staff was attentive but gave you your space. When it got cool, they turned the heat lamps on for us.
The chocolate croissant "Bread pudding" is rich but worth the extra calories. i don't even like bread pudding. i would order that again in a heartbeat. It's rich, good enough to share for 2-3 ppl.

Our fourth visit to Christie Hill proved as enjoyable as ever! We were greeted by the Proprietor, who remembered us. We had a great table overlooking Lake Tahoe, and enjoyed the Creative Menu, which features healthy choices in reasonable portions, so you can enjoy 3 to 4 courses without being a Glutton! Our Waiter was friendly, engaging, helpful, and always there at just the right time. A must stop when visiting Tahoe's North Shore.

We returned to our favorite Tahoe City restaurant and were pleased again. This is an exceptional restaurant in a beautiful lake side setting. We ate a number of appetizers and small plates. Initially, we started with salt roasted marble (colored round) potatoes served with an aioli. If you like roasted potatoes, you will love these. Next, we shared deviled eggs with small slices of prosciutto garnish. The charcuterie plate was superb. Three cold pates, goose, chicken and a country style, with multiple mustards, pickled green strawberries, with Apple slices, dates and prosciutto garnishes. Finally, the seared fois gras was perfect as always. The main dishes are varied, each with unique and interesting ingredients. You will have a wonderful experience. Enjoy the view from the deck or the main restaurant above.
