    Outstanding Experience – Delicious Food & Exceptional Service! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! What truly makes the experience unforgettable is the staff. They are very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend Christy Hill for anyone looking for a wonderful and memorable dining experience!

    Christy Hill is an outstanding restaurant, and remains our ‘go to’ when we want a fine dining experience. Three of us on this trip, and we ordered the tasting menu, which is $110/person. They had a $50 wine pairing but we brought our own bottle. All the items on the tasting menu were quite good. Opened with hamachi, then a beet salad, a nice halibut with a lovely sauce followed by a wagyu hanger steak (really outstanding). Dessert was a delicious panna cotta. We paired the desert with some desert wines (a sauterne and a port - both good). Service was outstanding. Really could not ask for much more from this place.

    The food was great and the atmosphere second to none. We were very disappointed in our waiter. The prices for this restaurant are on the high end, and the expectation of good service and being able to ask questions about the menu should not be something foreign to the waitstaff. That is my only complaint.

    To say we had a memorable experience is an understatement. Just as we arrived the power in that entire section of Tahoe City went out. All up and down the waterfront. Amanda was greeting guests as they arrived informing them of the situation and that the kitchen would only be able to prepare cold appetizers and no entries; for an unknown time period. Well we came for the view too and had a fantastic bottle of wine to try so that was fine for us. Ordered our cold apps and proceeded to enjoy the view that Christy Hill has. Carsten was super great about keeping us up to speed on things and in seemingly no time the power came back on. (Ok, it was over an hour but did I mention the view?!). The kitchen got back in line fairly quickly and we were treated to three great meals that will remain in our memories for some time. Christy Hill showed that it doesn’t take electricity to out on quite a show!!

    We enjoyed a fabulous meal at Christy Hill sitting outside overlooking Lake Tahoe as the sun set. It was magical!! We had the tasting menu with wine pairings which was delicious and just the right amount of food. Great place to celebrate a couple of birthdays. Servers and staff were attentive, helpful and wonderful. Still one of our favorite restaurants in the Tahoe area.

    Food was at outstanding. Great service. Of course, view of Lake Tahoe is spectacular. Would have liked more salad and appetizer options. Good variety of main dish options. Overall, for Tahoe this is one of the best meals you can get on the lake.
