Had a 6 pm reservation and hostess seated us in the bar. I requested to sit in main dining room and hostess said only if we finished dinner by 7. Hostess seemed to be in a bad mood...anyway food was outstanding and service was friendly and professional.

This is really the best option for fine dining in Tahoe City. Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Both the indoor and outdoor dining experiences are superb. Treat yourself.

Food was excellent. But we had a lousy table...actually a booth...on the corner of the restaurant. There was constant foot traffic...servers, patrons etc. There literally wasn’t a quiet moment. No doubt the worst table in the place. One must ask if this restaurant is billing itself as the best why they don’t close that table. So if you go say “not the corner booth” when you make the res.

We had a delicious dinner to celebrate a birthday. The food was fantastic and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our outdoor table could not have been more perfect. We hope to dine there again in the future.

One of the very best restaurants on Tahoe's north shore. Excellent food combined with an incredible location and view of Lake Tahoe. It's "must try" if you're in Tahoe City or anywhere nearby.

Staff were incredible. View was amazing. Really made my girlfriend and I’s last night in Tahoe special. Only complaint is my Rabbit was a bit dry and came with room temp noodles and veggies. Would definitely come again, however. Thanks to all the staff!

The ribeye was horribly tough, in spite of the waiter with the mullet telling me he was going to cook it a different way than I asked. The rest of the meal was decent. The potato fingerlings, nothing special. My wife had the halibut which she liked. The desserts were both good. I usually don’t have staff telling me how to cook my food. I have had way better $65 steaks and to be honest, your sirloin at any regular branded steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, Logan’s, etc. would have been way better than my ribeye. We were also told they had no inside tables........then when pressed they gave us one. The other 3 were open for another 30 minutes and one the entire time. The selection is small. Would not go here again except for some hot tea, the view and dessert.

We dined outside on the edge of Lake Tahoe. Perhaps the best view in the world, We have eaten here about twice a year for the last 10 years or so. New menu itgems are better than ever.

Christy Hill is always a treat! The food is incredible, the view is spectacular and the service is top notch.

This restaurant is awesome for date nights or intimate family occasions. From being greeted to dessert I felt welcomed. The staff had awesome recommendations and were very attentive. I would definitely recommend the morracon spiced lamb medium rare followed by the bread pudding. I also threw in a port but I wanted to try the hot chocolate. Oh well, guess I'll have to go back lol. Highly recommended to dine here at least one during your stay in Tahoe.

Great Birthday Dinner!

Food, service, views - this restaurant is a local gem full of local gems.

First time eating indoors since last June. Tables were well spaced and the servers all wore masks. Food and service was outstanding and the views of Tahoe spectacular.

We arrived on a chilly evening and we were slated for an outdoor table. The wait to sit inside was going to be a while. They were very accommodating and we sat outside at one of the tables that had the fire pit in the middle. With the heaters nearby, we ended up with an amazing, romantic dinner. Will definitely go again.

We had an. Indoor table with a lake view. The food from the three small plates to the entrees and complimentary birthday chocolate croissant bread pudding were fabulous! We all determined we would return next time we are in Lake Tahoe. It was a fabulous birthday dinner!

We had dinner on the outside deck.
The view was outstanding. We dressed in layers for the cold weather. The portable heater next to our table kept us warm. The food was excellent! We highly recommend Christy Hill!

Really enjoyed our visit, would highly recommend for a date night. We tried the cheese plate and octopus appetizer along with the Scallops and Lamb. Some great gluten free options and they are very accommodating.

Terribly disorganized, we were offered a horrible table even though we made our reservation one month in advance for a special dinner for my husbands birthday. We were offered an inside table and upon review there was no social distancing, and no masks on customers. We decided to do take out. The portions were incredibly small - especially considering each dish was very pricey.

Wonderful outdoor dining experience by the fire! Perfect view of the lake, plenty of heat, and the food was amazing!! Highly recommend!

The 4 of us sat outside. Its was a beautiful night on the chilly side. Heaters provided. Once the ghostwriter wine was poured, we got real cozy. Great food. and service. Will be back

Beautiful view, patio seating with a fire pit table. Our waiter was attentive and provided great recommendations. Great night out for a special birthday celebration.

With the pandemic the restaurant only has outside dining which was perfect even in February. We had our fire pit table looking over the lake with an additional heater overhead. I made a note that we were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us a free dessert which was delicious. Great food that was a little overpriced but great quality. Will return again hopefully soon.

Much too cold!! They had a few nom working heaters ans when we decided to tough it, service became very slow. We froze!

The service is wonderful - Carsten is so sweet! The owner came and greeted us at our table. The Chef is nothing short of AMAZIng!! The Artisanal cheese plate, the smoked trout - all very impressive. The ramen pairs great with the Shug Chardonnay. Lake side view is beautiful - blankets are encouraged for outdoor dining as we were a bit chilled. Our new favorite place, and will be back on every ski trip!!

Service and view are both unbeatable!! 5 stars there. Same for exceptional wines. Food was a bit bland (crab app just tasted like mayo) and small enough proportions (udon) that I won’t be back soon.

Even under Covid, they do a great job of delivering a quality experience -- on the deck!

We all sat outside, safely distanced from each other, and had our own fire pits as dining tables. The food was amazing! Have the Osso Buco! You won’t be disappointed...
