Christos - Minnetonka

easily our long time favorite in both Minneapolis, and Minnetonka as we have been customers for close to 30 years. ALWAYS predictably great food, and the service is superb. Highly recommend either location.

One of my favorites! Good food, good service, reasonable prices, and you can actually carry on a conversation without shouting. What’s not to like?

Christos seems to be a best kept secret in Minnetonka. The food is authentic, healthy, and fabulous! The prices are reasonable, and the staff if very friendly. One of our favorite local spots.

We went to Christos with a great friend who was close to my mom and dad and whom we see about once a month. We always enjoy Christos take out or dining in with her. Our waiter was very personable and very attentive to us, and the food was wonderful as always. Also, Gus was there and came to say hi to us, which we always look forward to. We will continue to come back, best food and friendly people!

How nice it is to be able to dine in a restaurant, again. Because this restaurant is large, it is possible to be spread out. My friend and I sat in the window bay at the front and it was bright an sunny when we arrived. Our waiter was laid back but conscientious. Just the right amount of attentiveness. We ordered an appetizer- the Hot Sampler that had Loukaniko, Koupepia and Gyros with Tzatziki. It was so good!. It could be a meal in and of itself (and if you were doing Keto, just leave the rice out.) I ordered the Spanakopita with Avgolemono and my friend had the Pastitsio with salad. It was more than enough tasty food that we both took boxes home. Because it was National Desert Day, we indulged. Baklava fro her and Chocolate Mousse for myself. We enjoyed a nice leisurely meal that evening and felt cared for well.

We took advantage of a beautiful afternoon and enjoyed a late lunch/early dinner outside. They've expanded their outdoor seating into what used to be an herb garden. Now there are little tables shaded by surrounding trees. While we love their patio, this new area is quieter because it's farther from Hwy 7 and a little less breezy. Our server was outstanding; friendly, attentive, helpful. He let us know there was 1/2 off bottles of wine which we took advantage of. I tried the Moussaka for the first time and it won't be the last. We've enjoyed Christos for many years but this visit was one of our best experiences.

We are steady customers at Christos Minnetonka. It is the top restaurant we go to in the Twin Cities. We eat out about three times per week. Prices are very reasonable --- I don't remember the last time they adjusted prices. Gus brings the receipes from his mother, and they are the best.

Hospitality & service was very good. My husband ordered the Patitsio, he loved it. I ordered a combination plate with Patitsio, Musacka and Spanikopita. All were yummy!

We always enjoy our dinner here. The food, service, and selection are fantastic. We have dined here several times and have never been disappointed.

My husband had the lamb shank and it was so tender and delicious. I had a shredded lamb dish that had peas and a dill cream sauce and wrapped in a phyllo dough. It was delicious. The owner came around to talk to the customers to make sure everything was ok

We would recommend Christos to our friends. The food is great and the service is quick and efficient. The menu provides a variety of different types of food that will suit every ones taste.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Service was very nice and knowledgeable. I would recommend it if you enjoy Greek food or would like to try something new.

Gus continues to provide the best Greek food in town!!! And maybe the best food of any kind!! Service is great, ambiance is great!!

We invited friends for lunch who had never been to Christos before and everyone was delighted. The restaurant is immaculately clean. The layout,while cozy, allows for movement without bumping everyone on your way through. Our service was attentive and engaged without being the center of attention. And the food, the reason for being there was simply wonderful. Everything from all items being served in a timely way at their optimum temperatures to clean and distinctive flavors that are true to their cultural heritage. The menu options had choices for all tastes: authentic Greek to vegan to a few items with a MN twist. A few lovely desserts were a available from the well executed baklava to a twist on a cherry pie with cherries and ricotta baked in filo . . . extremely flavorful and just a hit sweet:)
If you already know and love Christos go a little more often and support this neighborhood gem. If you haven't tried them, please do so and I think it will become one of your favorites. Christos hits all the marks that matter: wonderful food, extremely pleasant atmosphere, skilled, knowledgeable service and they are an extraordinary value!

As always enjoyed our food

We have been going to Christos for over 15 years because you can always count on the food being great. I love the spanikopita and my husband loves the lamb tavas. This time we brought work colleagues from out of town and they also thought it was excellent. They have a nice diverse wine selection, including my favorite Greek white wine, Santorini - but also numerous US wines and those from other countries. The atmosphere is casual and friendly and I never hesitate to suggest going to either the Minnetonka or Mpls locations. Highly recommended if you want well prepared Greek food - which is getting harder to find in Mpls than it used to be. Enjoy!!

Christos - has been our favorite restaurant since they first opened in Minnetonka. If we lived closer we would be there even more often. The owner is always on hand and involved. The food is ALWAYS perfect. The staff is well trained with excellent knowledge of all items on the menu. The staff is friendly and welcoming. There is little turn over of staff giving Christos a real family feeling. I recommend Christos to everyone we know. Gus knows how to run a first-class restaurant!

We had excellent service from the time we walked in until we left! Servers were friendly, attentive, and paid attention to our needs. This is what service is about ! We will be back and have already recommended this dining establishment to other. Kudos to the owner, cook staff and waiters.

the most crowded we have ever seen Christos. They were a bit overwhelmed at first, but food and service was still great. Very reasonably priced Greek food.
