Christopher's World Grille Ratings and Reviews
Went there for my wife and brothers bday. Wanted to take my family out for a special dinner since we don’t get together much being that my wife and I️ live in Frisco Texas (dallas area). From the very beginning the staff was friendly and service was top notch all throughout. The food was amazing and cocktails were on point . Special thanks to Angel and the servers that helped him and Rafael the restaurant manager for adding their personal touch to our special occasion.
We are new to the BCS area and tried this for our son's 21st birthday. What a treat! It lives up to its reputation as a 4 star restaurant. The food was exceptional, the service was fabulous, and the ambiance was elegant without being stuffy/too formal. We will definitely go back again, and not just for a special occasion!
Christopher's World Grill is always our "go to" for a nice meal with our kids when we are in town for a football game. Food was very good as always as was our waiter. We did feel a bit rushed this time which was unusual because there were plenty of open tables when we were finishing up so it's not like they needed the table. Still very good though.
I came extremely skeptical and left so impressed. The waiter was excellent he gave the best service we have ever received. He was on top of everything and very funny. The food was outstanding. My steak was cooked to perfection and literally tasted like it had been prepared by the gods. Service, food and atmosphere were just incredible. This is going to be a restaurant i come back to.
We were seated in the newer section. More room but not as intimate as the older building. Very good service, and the food was quite good. I had my usual filet. The sauce was superb. Desert was creme broule and it was quite good. My one complaint is the prices are really getting high. With the recent closing of La Riviera they don't feel they have as much competition. $40 range for entres may not sound high for people in Houston, but in Bryan/College Station that is getting excessive. I think Christopher's is going back to just being a twice yearly visit: for my wife's birthday and our anniversary.
Amazing food for our group. We did, however, have issues being seated as we had a couple that ran into issues with child care and were running late. The host was very frustrating and not kind at all while we were explaining the situation and were at first refusing to seat us. We finally convinced them to seat us but they were not happy about it at all. Then we get very rushed to order even though we just wanted to have drinks and appetizers while waiting on the rest of our party. We had a full 3 course meal but felt like they were expecting us to finish in an hour. Great meal, the steak was amazing, great wine list, but be careful booking a large party (6 people) there.
The food was great but the one thing that makes the overall experience at Christopher's was the hovering of the waitstaff along with the management to get us out as fast as they could. It was extremely annoying how they were more interested in turning tables over. Our bill was not cheap . Once we realized what they were doing we ordered extra cocktails , ordered salads when we would have gone straight to the entree and ordered desert . We ordered a bottle of wine in excess of 100.00 and would have ordered a second . The owners are obviously not too smart . Oh and if we ever eat there again we will never sit by the entrance into main dining room and would advise anyone else wishing to dine there to do the same.
