Christopher's World Grille Ratings and Reviews
First time coming to Christopher's. I was was very impressed and amazed at this fine restaurant. It was my wife's birthday so I wanted to treat her to a very special place. Christopher's World Grille was definitely a great move on my part. The place had a very romantic setting . The service was very professional ( like out of a movie or something😀).
The food was world class and their cocktails were great as well. To top it off they help me celebrate my wife's birthday..compliments from the chef. I will definitely be making a return here. Thanks Christopher's World Grille for helping me make my wife feel special on her Bday.
We had a reservation for 6:30 and showed up a little early. The staff was really nice and sat us at our table immediately. The setting was perfect for our occasion. Our waitress Karen (I believe) was terrific. She recommended several dishes and drinks and was very knowledgeable about the menu. My wife had a steak and I had the Red Snapper. Best fish I’ve ever eaten. I highly recommend this place for that special occasion.
We have a tradition of having dinner at Christopher’s on New Year’s Eve. This year it was bitter cold on NY Eve. We sat in the front dining room - it was quite chilly.
We always enjoy the seafood fondue. Delicious!
This year I had the duck. It was very fatty and not up to par for Christopher’s.
The vegetables were amazing! I could just order all vegetables and be happy!
We shared the toffee dessert. Yummy!
Thank you for a lovely evening!
We go every year, and it is always exceptional. By far the best restaurant in the Bryan and College Station area. Being a world grille provides such a unique dining experience for those who go every year and are exposed to different cuisine from around the world. The venue is also beautiful with variation across the different rooms. The cooking is top notch and the service is wonderful. Highly recommended.
It was good but when we mentioned anniversary in the online reservation we weren't accorded with the anniversary plate that I saw in the reviews. Also we waited around 10 minutes before we were seated even when I made an online reservation well in advance. So, I'm a little on the fence about returning. But the food was above par in my opinion.
We really did not expect such a wonderfully gourmet experience in Bryan / College Station. My wife, our two kids (14 & 16) and I went there for Sunday brunch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was spectacular - beware of the beignets: they can be addictive! The Bloody Mary was very nice: just spicy enough and the carrots on the veggie garnish were pickled. The salad ingredients were fresh - farm to table, I presume. My wife raved about her eggs benedict. The decor is very tastefully done. Very much worth a visit.
Incredibly good food and attentive service. Earlier in the day on the phone, I asked for a quiet, corner table (because tables are placed very close together). Upon arriving at 5:15 PM (in very nice clothing) we were seated in the bar; I had to ask to be moved. This poor decision on their part will not deter us from returning next month for our anniversary, however I will share my observations with others. The dining area was practically empty, so there was no need to seat us in the bar with guests dressed in t-shirts.
This is easily the most upscale restaurant that I've ever been to (I haven't spent much time in large cities), and will likely be my go-to special occasion restaurant in BCS. With that being said, the food was worth the price (at least $30 per entree). They pride themselves on their sauces, which lived up to the billing. For an appetizer, we had the blackened crawfish and shrimp fondue, which was delicious. For dinner, I had a porterhouse, which was cooked perfectly to my medium-rare specification. The beef was served with a light sauce which added great flavor without distracting from the steak itself, as well as with blue-cheese butter, which was a great accent. My wife had the lamb shank, which had a relatively mild flavor as far as lamb goes, and was very tender. Finally we had a mixed berry napoleon for dessert, which was also great (I usually prefer desserts that are mostly chocolate, but I'd make an exception for this). The cocktails were wonderful as well.
Went there for my wife and brothers bday. Wanted to take my family out for a special dinner since we don’t get together much being that my wife and I️ live in Frisco Texas (dallas area). From the very beginning the staff was friendly and service was top notch all throughout. The food was amazing and cocktails were on point . Special thanks to Angel and the servers that helped him and Rafael the restaurant manager for adding their personal touch to our special occasion.
We are new to the BCS area and tried this for our son's 21st birthday. What a treat! It lives up to its reputation as a 4 star restaurant. The food was exceptional, the service was fabulous, and the ambiance was elegant without being stuffy/too formal. We will definitely go back again, and not just for a special occasion!
