What a great dining experience! Wonderful food, pleasant atmosphere, great waitstaff
We have not been to Christopher's for about 10 years, but this was definitely a case where our memories were not wrong. The ambiance, food and service was absolutely outstanding and lived up to our expectations. The server was great--attentive but not over bearing, made great recommendations on food and wine. I had a steak and my wife had the lamb, and she said it was the best she has had. We can hardly wait to go back again, and it won't be 10 years this time.
The meal was excellent and the service was also. The wine list provided a wide selection. The meal presentation was beautiful. I highly recommend the restaurant for special occasions.
As always a wonderful meal!! And wait staff is always outstanding!
My husband and I were given a gift card. We enjoyed the delicious food and wonderful service. It was a lunch to remember!! I definitely recommend eating at Christopher's.
Excellent meal and service!
Probably the best place we have eaten in BCS. Nice selection of food and wines.
We have always enjoyed the food and service. Our last two visits have just been average, service, food and seating have not been up to past experience.
We had a very memorable time celebrating my birthday! Food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Great overall experience.
Awesome food, very impressed, great service will definelty come back.
We always get wonderful service and the food is outstanding. Just a great place to go. Our waiter, Javier, was absolutely top-notch. He knew the menu, knew the ingredients to the dishes, could actually hold a conversation with us about anything we talked about. I made reservations for Father's Day because we had just dined here on our 35th anniversary in May and couldn't wait to come back!
FIVE STARS from start to finish and the PERFECT place for special occasions!
Always great food!
This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. Only complaint is that the brussell sprouts were over roasted to the burnt side - so told waiter and left them on the plate for the chef to see. Other then that everything was outstanding! My wife and I aren't really "dessert" people but OMG!!!!!
One of the reasons we come to College Station is to eat here.
The food was fantastic like always, and our server Jacob made our special occasion feel really unique, and he was so helpful and curteous.
Still waiting after 15+ years to be wowed by this place
Outstanding meal and service, the cocktail was superb, when there patio gets done it will be a great place to hang outside!
Awesome, as always! From the second you enter the door the service, atmosphere and food and drink quality continue to be consistent and amazing. The upgrades to both the exterior surroundings and interior will no doubt make this place even more special.
My favorite restaurant, anywhere! always outstanding!!
The room was over-crowded - table density was too high. Would have preferred to sit closer to my wife. We were across the table from one another. Table was long and slender and we were seated on the short side.
Always amazing food, great service & lots of fun! Great date night!
Great service. great atmosphere. very friendly. a little pricey. ok for special occasions. not for weekly dining
A great meal with excellent service. Always enjoy having dinner here.
We live near Chrisopher's and have been coming here for years for special occasions--or for take-out. No question the food, ambience, service are really good.
Over the years--as I age , I search for smaller dishes--example would b the Shisito peppers to start with, followed by my favorite Crawfish salad. That is an entree for me.
Our other two folks had the perennial snapper--always fresh and delicious and the salmon entree. Both were thoroughly enjoyed. Our grandson--the high school graduate this week loved the Creme Brulee- and my husband and I shared Christopher/s special dessert--delicate, tasty and perfect for two.
No question the prices have gone up--especially for a glass of wine. But, by seeing how many cars frequent your place both for lunch and dinner--you have maintained a good clientele.
Best of luck with all the changes occurring around you. I think you are preparing well. We enjoy seeing your new additions. Always grateful to Christopher's for our wonderful 50th anniversary celebration in June, 2015.
Wonderful, as always. Excellent food, great service and atmosphere. A meal at Christopher's is always a treat!
Had been wanting to try Christopher’s for some time while our son was at A&M, but this was the first time we’d had the opportunity. Outstanding food and service! The homemade bread served with olive tapenade was amazing, so we bought a jar of the tapenade to bring home. The crab cake appetizer was equally amazing, as were our main courses of the filet and red snapper. We mentioned that our son had recently graduated from A&M, and our dessert came with a special greeting from the staff. What we thought would be just a nice dinner out at a great restaurant turned into a special occasion. Nicely done!
Wonderful dinner as always. Always exceptional
We loved it all (atmosphere, conversation, food, wine, and service)!
First visit and won’t be the last. Very good! Service was great!
We've dined at Christopher's on our anniversary and other special occasions for many years. The food is always great but part of what always added to our enjoyment was the service. Although I always request a specific server, the last two times I have dined there my request was not honored. This time, again, I requested Karen but we did not get her. When we arrived for our dinner, the restaurant was by no means particularly busy but we were told to be seated in the bar to wait for our table. Ironically, the bar was full with other patrons waiting on their tables! We were seated a few minutes later and given menus but no drink or wine list. We sat unnoticed for an uncomfortably long time before the young waiter came and asked for our drink order … which we could not give because we had no drink menu! Since we had such a long time to sit there beforehand, we had already figured out what salad and entrée we wanted so when he brought back the cocktail and wine list, we quickly gave our entire order, hoping that would speed things up. Our salad arrived long before our cocktails did which was disappointing. Our entrée arrived before the $110 bottle of wine we ordered did. Ironically, the waitress we had requested was serving tables all around us and when we got the opportunity, we let her know we had requested her. Overall, the food was really good but I'm really disappointed that for our 30th anniversary we couldn't get the waitress we requested and the whole dining experience seemed out of sync which really shouldn't happen when you're paying $300 for a special occasion dining experience!
This was my first time having Sunday brunch at Christopher's. The meal was outstanding. First, the restaurant served Beignets that are as good as any I've had at the Cafe du Monde (minus the random saxophone player, of course). My husband had a ridiculous eggs Benedict, with little filet mignons instead of Canadian bacon -- wow. My seafood crepes were very good, with lots of big pieces of crab. The service at Christopher's is always a little too formal for me -- and there is the perpetual "How are we today". (I always want to say, my husband and I are fine, but were you planning to join us for our meal?) And the prices are high for the area. Their brunch doesn't have very many egg options -- so more of a lunch than a breakfast.
We have been going here since they opened. We have never been disappointed.
Took my Bride of 35 yrs to Christopher's for our anniversary dinner. Was an evening well spent. Food was amazing. Tons of flavor. Service was great. Actually had a "waiter in training". He and the "trainer" were just a pleasure to be served by. Was a little tough to make a choice on the desserts. We chose well but I'm guessing it wouldn't have mattered! Quiet enough you can actually have a conversation. Especially when your dinner date is way more interesting than your phone!
Our guests said it was the best meal that they had ever had. I will agree. Micheal our server was beyond fantastic.
Our waiter was great, food was excellent.... the fillet was amazingly tender. They have reasonably priced bottles as well. Overall the wife and I enjoyed our meal and will be back.
First time, won't be the last! Excellent menu, interesting choices, great off the menu surprises!
The food and service were excellent. We had eaten at this restaurant once before when we were in town visiting friends; at that time we lived in Fort Worth. Unfortunately, we now live over 1200 miles away from Christopher's World Grille but we were in the area for a graduation so we made plans to come to town early so we could have brunch at Christopher's before the ceremony. They did not disappoint! The food was exquisite and the portions were large. The only thing we would recommend is that they dust the tops of the door frames (even from distance away we could see dust on top of framing where a doorway had been in the past) as well as the fabric draped above the corner booths (dust was in the creases of the fabric). Other than that, a great experience!
We love Christopher's and have been dining here for years. This restaurant never disappoints with their level of food, service or variety of menu options. My only issue is the noise level that depending on where you sit...can be deafening! I know that the restaurant can't control loud and rude individuals (to an extent) however I wish they would set the tables up so the larger tables were together and the 2 and 4 tops were up front and in the smaller rooms so the noise level was reduced.
All in all, this is by far the best restaurant in the Brazos Valley!
