For starters, the service was great, we loved the atmosphere too. However the food - the quality was very poor. Presentation was beautiful, but not at all worth the price. Nothing had flavoring - the steak, the vegetables, the starches - the sauce carried the only flavor to be found and it tasted like awful A1 sauce. No great steak needs sauce which it appeared all the steaks came with sauce. The steak wasn’t cooked correctly the first time either so we had to wait longer for our food - medium rare was ordered and what came back to us was well done. Nicely enough we were compensated for our wait with a free dessert at the end. Nothing about any of the food we ordered stood out to us. We were so disappointed after all we had read and heard about this place, don’t plan to ever return. I’ve spent less elsewhere and had much better tasting food.

Surprise date night for my husband! We were so pleased with everything… all of my profile notes on Open Table were acknowledged, Hannah our server was delightful and Patrick the Manager was wonderful, engaging and made sure our evening was perfect. The staff even delivered chocolate covered strawberries as a final treat. And the food… we have never had a bad experience here… crab cakes, steak, wine selection… absolutely delicious! We will be back again!

My wife and I dined at Christopher's and split the Delmonico steak and a caesar salad. Presentation was five stars, quality was five stars and service was four stars due to the busyness of the bartender as we sat in bar seating. I requested a mid-tier cab to go with our dinner and it's rewarded with an excellent 2018 Jordan. Little did I know the markup would be $150. It was something of a shock on the final bill and begs the question if that is mid-range what can I expect to pay for an upper range selection? Needless to say, next time I will inquire.

We were celebrating our anniversary. Our first table was next to a screaming baby. We waited 20 minutes for our cocktails and then the rest of the food was poorly paced. We hadn’t finished our salads and our mains arrived. Filets were not done to requested temp and the restaurant highlighted filet was smothered in sweet Demi glacé. Unable to eat my meal. My husbands medium rare filet was more well done. We won’t be back.

We made reservations 6 days in advance for a birthday dinner requesting a special table location. When we arrived we were taken to another without any advance notice, when I asked why we did not receive our table they said it had been taken. This has happened in the past on special requests and that time they informed us before seating and asked if we had other preferences. We would have preferred this option but it was not offered. Very disappointed after these many years of coming here, we have two special dates a year and seems like they could have done better on handling this small request on a Tuesday night. Temperature was freezing cold inside.

Joe was our waiter and his recommendations were spot on! Great service. We had the South American beef. Best steak I’ve ever had. The vegetable burrito was amazing. We drove from Conroe to try Christopher’s. We are definitely coming back soon. Amazing food!

CWG is a $$$$ service but $$ food restaurant. Service and environment are good. But the food itself doesn’t deserve its price. It’s absolutely normal as fast food. Median cooked steak is near well-done. The appetizer crab cake is no better than that sold in grocery store. The side vegetables and tortillas don’t make sense at all.
