Christine's of Yardley Ratings and Reviews
Very quiet. A hidden gem! Delicious food! Its a byob. When i called to inquire about this, i was told it "was a dry restaurant "! I was under the assumption you could not bring alcohol. Disappointing! But, the food was prepared to perfection!!! Would definitely return and recommend to others.
As usual, Christine's of Yardley doesn't disappoint. Our server, Scarlet was incredible! They have a wonderful staff here. Great value because we received a 15% off the entire check text message which inspired us to dine out that night. A local BYO you truly get a bang for your buck. Great good and service to boot!
First time in this restaurant and we were extremely pleased with the service, the selections and the preparation/taste of our meals. Noise level was loud until tables around us were served. This is definitely a place that we will share with family and friends.
Love the consistency of Christine's! As always great food and superior service. It was a quiet night. Regardless, we had requested a quiet table and were seated in a lovely booth. the perfect setting for 'old' friends to catch-up! Anna was our server. She was great! Oh yes....the food. Funny we always order the same two favorites: grilled marinated chicken breast and chicken marsala. Again...consistent good food.
I am usually excited to go to Christine's, but this time I was sorely disappointed. I ordered the special -- it came out barely warm and virtually tasteless. The pasta was overcooked and the crab was chewy. Others at the table had a better experience with the taste and quality of the food, but said it was just "warm". The chef made an attempt to "fix" my dish, and is it was barely acceptable. I was still disappointed--hope it was just a bad night.
My family of 4 went to dinner there on Mother's Day. It was just ok. My $38 steak was overcooked and barely warm when they delivered it. We had to ask 3 different servers for a basket of bread which took 15 minutes to receive. At 4pm, they weren't overly busy for Mother's Day and our table size was manageable. Maybe they just had a bad day, but dinner was so expensive for what we received, it was disappointing.
Wonderful dinner at Christine's with friends. OurServer was attentive and personable. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. I had the chicken Parmesan. My husband had the chicken Marsala. Summer salad was great and we all indulged in dessert which were superb. We were not rushed and we will all return again soon.
Second time there in over a year. Food is OK! My wife had the Veal Marsala and was a bit on dry tough side. The Veal Francais was better. I had to returm my dish ,Pork Osso Bucco, couldn't cut into it! Bad cut of meat for the chef special - Disappointing! They're very apologetic and ask me to reorder, but didn't want to wait. Sampled my family food. My daughter had the tortellini which was very good. Dessert was compliments of the house and was very good. Waiter was very attentive!
Buffalo calamari came out tasting like a luke warm spicy rubber-band. We probably should have sent it back. The garlic cheese bread was great.
Food was OK, but nothing special. Maybe they were just having an off night, or maybe we ordered something that was not in their sweet spot.
Great spot for a quiet business dinner, but the food left us disappointed.
Never disappoints - the mushroom soup is always a winner, small salad portion with a protein added more than enough for a hearty lunch. Topped off with the chef's tiramisu from his mother's own recipe - which was outstanding! Great atmosphere, pleasant staff. Will definitely come back for more.
Enjoyed the restaurant. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was tasty. One small caveat regarding food...I felt there was an over abundance of sauce (gravy) on most items. Even the Caesar salad which was very fresh, had a bit too much dressing on it. Otherwise , enjoyable dining experience.
My husband and I came here for a date night and happy we did. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our waiter was awesome! Food was great, we even had dessert which we normally do not have. It was a really good and relaxing night. It is BYOB which I really loved because I could enjoy my whole bottle of wine
