The food was consistently excellent and the staff were always exceptionally polite and friendly. Great atmosphere, especially when having pre-dinner cocktails. Loved the ambience and the open plan lay-out. Food was quite expensive but you don't mind paying when the quality is so high and the staff so friendly and helpful. Thank you very much for looking after us so well during our stay.

We had two lovely evenings in the restraint while staying in the hotel. The food was excellent - the menu reassuringly simple and very well cooked. The atmosphere was very warm and the service exemplary. My only criticism was that we had children with us and there was no offer of a smaller meal for juniors on the menu. I am not asking for a children's menu with chicken nuggets on, as I believe children should eat as their parents do, but there was no option here but to pay full price for a main for them, or share my own, which I did not want to do! A couple of simple options such as a small portion of meat in a simple sauce with chips or potatoes and veg would have made all the difference.

Excellent meal to celebrate a birthday and the unsolicited sweet canapé birthday tray was a lovely touch.

We thoroughly enjoyed a 2 course lunch in The Upper Deck. The starters were excellent, better than the main course I felt. We had a very good rioja to go with it. The service was friendly and very professional. The décor and beautiful views made the whole experience quite special.

Our Sunday lunch was good quality however, sadly, the service was not equal to the food. The restaurant was very busy and I suspect there was a shortage of staff. We had to wait a long time for our main courses to arrive. In addition a server tried to remove a plate while there was still food on it and without asking if it was finished.
