   Food quality is second to none. The octopus was to die for. The steak brought me back childhood memories. The best steakhouse in Middlesex/Union county for sure. Jeff was the Man. My wife and I had a great time. Due to the great food and service. They will see me again for sure.

   Food was a bit expensive for the portion. Server was good but he was very busy, it seem he was the only server for to many tables. We call the server several time, for his service.

   We received a gift card for Christmas and finally made it here for dinner. It was a great date night. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our steak. Would definitely return here again.

   After living in this area for over 20 years and passing this restaurant hundreds of times, this was our first visit. We were celebrating my birthday and I was in the mood for a steak and didn't feel like driving all the way to Capital Grille so we decided to give this place a try. Overall a good experience. The food was very good and the service was fine. I had a tasty pomegranate Cosmo. The lyonnaise potatoes were excellent and my New York strip was cooked at the proper temperature. My biggest issue with this place is the noise level. We were seated at a table near the entrance and the din was extremely loud. Definitely not the atmosphere for a romantic dinner. I think there was more seating around a corner that I couldn't see that may possibly be a bit quieter. They are a bit pricey and for the price paid, over $300 for two, I don't want to feel like I'm in a diner. I would give the place another try and ask for a seat away from the entrance.

   Our experience here was not what we expected. First, some good things, such as the calamari and the red sauce that went with it, were excellent. The mashed potatoes were delicious, and the sorbet (pineapple, mango) were both delicious. The waiter was friendly, and so was the manager who we needed to consult with about the Cowboy steak that was burned on the outside, not seated, and it was so tough my husband struggled to cut through it. He NEVER likes to send food back but considering the prices, he had to exchange for the filet mignon, which was much better. We also noticed another patron who had to ask to replace her steak, too. I had the ribeye, which was also burnt. I dealt with it. I did not finish it all. The side dishes were good but could have been better had my string beans not been charred.🤦🏽‍♀️ For the amount of money and their claim to be one of the best steak houses in New Jersey, they should do better not just in preparing food but also in the ambiance. The tables and chairs are a bit outdated and worn. Finally, ladies, be careful of the cobblestone in front of the door; if you have on heels, it is a hazard waiting to happen if it hasn't already. Thanks, but it's a NO on a return trip.

    The boneless ribeye was cooked to perfection and my slab bacon appetizer was awesome. My wife had the braised short ribs and they were to die for. She did not particularly like her crab cake appetizer. She was anticipating it to have more lump crab meat in it instead it had more filler. Overall the experience was great.
