View Private Dining DetailsTop notch food, excellent service, great decor. Been here 3 to 4 times and always leave saying what an amazing meal and experience. One of the best steak houses in Florida. Not sure the fried lobster tail morsels are worth it (4 little bites for 34 bucks), but they were delicious. Highly recommend this restaurant.
While service was good the food was below average - especially considering the price. The appetizer and desert were the only things that were delicious. Portions were small for everything.
It was one of the worst meals ever had service was a disgrace none
My food crab was excellent but too expense compare to other restaurant like Joe’s stone crabs
My friends lamb chops were uneatable
We told waitress she said I told you the cut period not offering any thing else her spinach wasn’t seasoned enough ..
I hadn’t been their in a few years but to go down hill ??
service we had to ask none

Excellent!
Greeted and seated right away. Waiters were extremely attentive and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and prepared as requested. Definitely one of my new favorite restaurants and will be dining there again!
Everything about our visit was perfect. from the friendly, accommodating Host to our server and the fresh superbly crafted food. Will come back often.
Dined there on a Wednesday evening and it was crowded. Ordered the Delmonico steak for two. It was undercooked and sliced when brought to the table. Should have sent it back then. Upon tasting it, it had a funky taste. Much like liver. Being my husband likes liver he indulged some more. I on the other hand did not. Brought it to the attention of the manager Marcelo who removed the steak from the bill.
Upon research, the aged beef was over aged! When beef is overaged (old) it tastes like liver. Spoke to an expert. Was scare of being sick from this. It will be a long time before returning , if ever. One bad meal can send a good customer away indefinitely!
Best bone in rib eye I ate this season!! Everything and everyone was perfect!! Love this place.
Very disappointing. Portions much smaller than usual. Quality of filet and sirloin not good. Shrimp smaller size and crab meat sparse in appetizer
Service was very slow and not very attentive. Food was cooked to perfection and taste.
Tout nous a plu sauf le bruit,le restaurant es t très bruyant.

Excellent!!!
We frequent Chops often and the service and quality of the meal never changes from outstanding. Highly recommend for that special occasion.
One of the worst experiences. They didn't let us know that they ran out of the side dish we ordered until out main entree came. The host was ambivilent toward us.. thas this happens. We also believe that the price fixe menu had inferior quality of meat.
Always good food and wonderful service.Try to go to the restaurant several times during the season.Noise level is high at times.I always recommend to friends and family.
Always hits the mark! Service is great and the manager MO is fantastic and attentive.
I dine at Chop's often and they never disappoint!! Hat's off to Chef Sean and the whole crew.
It seems that quality of the Kobe steaks has diminished..
Overall the food was prepared to order, and was good.
Service was excellent
First time visiting this establishment and we will not be back. Very disappointed with the whole evening starting when we were addressed by the hostess, brought to the ‘wrong’ table, then told “oh this isn’t it” and followed her around for 5 minutes to a smaller, noisier table. Server was ok. Food was shockingly average. This alone is why we will never visit again. Filet tasted no better than Outback. Lobster Mac and cheese was good but not worth $25. Should have gone to one of the many restaurants nearby instead to celebrate my birthday.
We had the most amazing dinner for my birthday at Chops. The King crab legs were sweet and delish. The NY strip was grilled to perfection. The corn mash side was yummy and then for dessert the banana cream pie!!! An extraordinary culinary experience. The service was awesome too
Lobster Mac and cheese was excellent. The ‘
NY strip steak was charred too much leaving a burnt taste. The tomohawk ribeye was very good. And so were the oysters. Waiter was nice and courteous. Host at front desk addressed us by name as he walked around. Very impressive. The water boy with the beard should pay attention more to customers with pellegrino water on the table. We don’t want it topped off with tap water. Thank you very much. Overall is was a nice dinner.

To Whom It May Concern,
I was very disappointed in my recent meal at Chop's on Wed., April 4th. I had guests visiting from Europe and they too were not happy with their meal served. I chose this establishment because I know it well and the general manager who is a good friend. I found the service a bit slow. I asked the waiter for extra hollandaise sauce for my salmon and never received it. The potatoes that were served as part of the tornados of beef entree were uncooked and had to be sent back. The coffee served to my out of town guest came to the table cold and had to be sent back. I order the dessert with the scoop of sorbet within and the scoop that I received was very small and with very few berries included. It was thought at the table that a few desserts would be provided on the house due to the few issues that we had with a few meals served but instead the desserts were charged to the final bill. The food overall that evening was fair as I have had better meals in the past at this establishment.
Sincerely,

Great service
Outstanding meal. The dessert selection was fantastic, and the meats and sides are beyond specatacular.
The service was excellent the food was impeccable the ambiance was great I got nothing bad to say you want a great dining experience this is the place
The service here was top notch. Highly Recommend !
The rolls and steaks were excellent, everything else was extremely underwhelming. The shrimp cocktail tasted like iodine and the shrimp were mush not firm. The menu described the clams as "littleneck" but kitchen served cherry stones. When I questioned it, the reply I received was, "that's all the chef could get". The potato tots were way under cooked - the potato was raw in the middle. My son ordered the Kobe steak for $100 and it came out cooked very rare, he ordered medium rare. I ordered a NY Strip med. rare and also came out rare. Asparagus was bland not seasoned. Chocolate lava cake tremendously very average not home made - over cooked throughout. They brought out our entrees while we still had an appetizer on the table. The Manager was rude when I complained. The waitress was very pleasant. We were really looking forward to it, it came highly recommended. Maybe kitchen was having a bad night. Don't believe we'll go back.
delicious. server told us that my lobster was not prepared correctly and provided me with a jumbo shrimp cocktail order til my order arrived. very nice.
Absolutely incredible dinner!
Simply Amazing...Always! Delicious, amazing service, great management. My Fav!
Service was excellent. The food was perfect and we love the ambiance. We were celebrating our Anniversary and the waitress told us to pick a dessert and they brought it out with a candle. A perfect night.
This is the place to be food was great the manger and host where great i will go back when i come back into town
Tried to seat us at the worst table in the house even the hostess was embarrassed at table offered.
Refused table but still assigned a table not satisfactory . Finally seat at 3rd table offered yet all tables were
Near server stations. Waiter was excellent but appetizers & meal were served within 1/2 hour of being seated.
This is not expected in a restaurant where you are spending $125 to 150 per person.
Chops was at one time my favorite restaurant but stop coming a few years ago for similar reasons
Thought I would try again but will no long be a restaurant I frequent
Everything was very good, except the noise level. It is a noisy restaurant to begin with and then they piped in loud music from the bar entertainment which made it much too loud to enjoy a conversation
Always a wonderful place to celebrate a special occasion!
enjoyed a great happy hour first!
Steak was excellent- just as good as Peter Lugers in NYC
Feom the time we walked thru the door the service was great. Our Waiter John was the best.
Good. I think portions are reduced from prior visits
Great food and service.
We expanded our table from 3 to 5 with no problem and were seated promptly. The place was very busy and extremely noisy. It was next to impossible to carry on a conversation. Service was quit slow but the food was very good. My grilled octopus although very tasty was extremely chewy and hard to cut. It seemed like they needed more wait staff to handle things like refilling water glasses and handling small requests. We waited quite a long time for food to arrive. When it calmed down at the end of the evening service picked up and we could finally be heard. If we go again we would try for a booth where noise may be dampened.
Can’t beat Happy Hour or their price fixed menu. Great steaks and fish. Best in town
