What a great experience.. Everyone went above and beyond to make our evening special, and the kobe beef was the best beef i have ever had!!!! A 10 plus on everything!
Four of the five of us had perfect meals. The one meal that was not cooked to order (meat was well done as opposed to rare/medium rare) was replaced and we were not charged for it (that was the restaurant's decision - we had not asked for reimbursement).
We will definitely return - staff was polite and apologetic -
Restaurant was a little noisy - would request a quiet corner next time -
CHOPS IS THE BEST !
General manager Moe and Maitre d ' Monroe greet every patron as if they were family . Service is always perfect .
On this evening we started with the spinach salad for 2 , extra mushrooms--prepared tableside by Dean . An outstanding performance and a great starter .
I had the dover sole , also prepared tableside . The best Dover sole --ever . I get it regularly .
My son had the bone In-filet--delicious--prepared Pittsburgh medium --PERFECT !
We split the large order of onion rings--crispy and delicious and the sautéed mushrooms ; also delicious .
No room for desert, but we brought home the banana cream pie --which was great the next morning .
CHOPS is Boca's " go to " restaurant . You'll never be disappointed .Simply the BEST !
Excellent. The price fix dinner is a good buy.
Celebrated our birthday here. Great food, great wine
Celebrating our granddaughter ‘s arrival in Florida. One of our favourite dining spots!
Meal was excellent but very salty.
Service was excellent, better than our last visit. Steaks as usual were perfect! Potatoe was large.
We've been to this restaurant many times and it's almost always excellent. This time, the service was really very poor. Waiter was personable, but not at all attentive during the evening. Very slow, water not refilled, had to ask several times repeatedly during the dinner to get more water. Some of the food was served before others in our party. Then the Dover Sole, which was brought to the table later than the other meals, was left to be filleted, while the server poured coffee for another table. Most of the table was finished eating before that person even had her Dover Sole in front of her. Really not one of our better dining experiences.
If you really appreciate steak, I mean to the point where you can speak intelligently about what you're eating, then it's a must go. Tonight I had a 60 day dry aged porterhouse , 40oz and it was exquisite. Flavors were close to some of the best steak I've ever had. I also tried the grade A5 Japanese Wagyu filet which was out of this world. Cost should never be an issue if you love steak this much.
