Chops City Grill - Bonita Springs, FL Ratings and Reviews
Food was delicious. Service was great. Just disappointed that after booking the reservation specifically for our anniversary celebration and calling to confirm that they knew we were celebrating, they did NOTHING for us. We invited our best friends to join us to celebrate, and arrived to find nothing special at all done. Quite the let down.
My food was prepared incorrectly twice according to my request. The chairs are not totally comfortable. Leather club chairs on wheels would suit the upscale ambiance and prices. Also,
the caesar salad was way over priced. Most caesar salad's contain only romaine lettuce, this one
had about 50% radicciho lettuce in it which is bitter. The price was $11.50.
This restaurant is pricing itself out of the market. Our visit was prompted by the $10 off an entree coupon. Not only have prices gone up considerably, but meals have been pared down - only one side included (and most have an additional upcharge) and also charging for sauces, including horseradish sauce. This was probably our last visit until another coupon is offered.
Dinner was great. Granddaughter loves the restaurant and wanted her birthday dinner there. Our waiter was fabulous. I wish I could remember his name, but went above and beyond to do all he needed to do to satisfy everything we needed. We will be back and certainly every special occasion will find us here too.
Our dining experience was a disappointment. They seated us right by the kitchen, which wasn't horrible, but not the best to celebrate an anniversary. Our waiter was awful. He rushed us from Cocktails to the dinner's finish. He had zero knowledge of how to describe the Pork Chop. He just shrugged his shoulders and said, "I mean, it's good ". So my husband went with the usual Filet. I had the Chicken Chop and it was rubbery and undercooked. Also it did not come with the usual Au Jus.
We have been to this restaurant many, many times and never had this experience.
If you go, get the Filet or Prime rib. The loaded mashed potatoes and corn pudding brûlée are also great.
Best prime rib and steaks in Bonita Springs! We especially love the early dining menu pricing that includes a bottle of wine, which is pretty good.
We also love the fish especially the grouper and salmon. The service is exceptional friendly and out to please.
Chops is one of our favorite restaurants. The food is always fantastic. My husband tried the prime rib for the first time and thought it was the best he has had. The food is always prepared perfectly. Matt, our server, was excellent. This is the second time we had him and he is great. Very helpful with recommendations and very attentive. I highly recommend everyone go to Chops.
This was one ofctge biggest dusappointments of my life. For 140 bucks we got an appetizer of tuna that was full of cartlitge a 8 oz. Filet and a 16 ounce prime rib that was no lie 40% fat. I don't mind donefat on my prime rib but that amount of fat on a 16 ounce piece of meat was ridiculous. Find another place to go. This place is a rip off.
We love Chops. The food has been outstanding every time we've gone. Two of us had the salmon and my husband had steak and tomatoes on this occasion. Both were excellent. We had the carrot cake for dessert, which I highly recommend. Our service was also outstanding. Our server was very personable, attentive, and helpful with our selections. Hops is just a great place.
We were looking so forward to our dinner at Chops on Friday evening. Our reservation was for 7:15 pm. They were running a great special and were packed. Because we were a twosome they put us at the bottom of the list to get seated. We felt the host was rude to us after we called him on it. But once my husband started to get noisy he finally seated us. Our waitress was very good and our food was excellent.
It was a particularly special evening. Our son and grandson were visiting and when Chop's wonderful deal of 50% off all food came about we immediately made reservations.
It did not disappoint. The food was outstanding as was the service, particularly since the dining room and bar was packed. It was the last night of the special in honor of hurricane Irma.
So glad we were able to dine there.
