    Our waiter, Raymond. Was very informative with menu recommendations and very attentive without being obtrusive. We had the oysters and tuna chop as appetizers and both were delicious. We all ordered steaks and every one of them was cooked perfectly. Great sides and excellent wine list. Definitely helps the whole menu is 40% off until October.

    We celebrated a birthday there and it was wonderful. It was our first time. Our server was delightful and the food was delicious and the presentation was photo worthy. We took advantage of the 40% off everything on the menu. We will definitely be back if we can get a reservation because it was packed. Great music also. It was much better than Bay House.

    This was a great experience. Before the change in mgmt, wife and I stopped going. The food quality slipped (bad shrimp and oyster not prepared well). However since the change we have been coming every two weeks. Awesome experience. This evening we had the chowder which always is excellent, then added the crab cakes for an appetizer. She had the grouper which was prepared well. I had the 40oz powerhouse. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the meat was prepared off the bone. The steak was cooked perfectly and has to be one of the best values on the menu. Simply awesome flavors! We wrapped the evening with the fudge Sunday, also yummy. Overall, we had a great and relaxing evening and we’ll be back in another week!

    The King crab was not tasty at all! I wish I would have sent them back! However did not want to make a big deal with 7 others present at our table. Overall the restaurant was overpriced and food quality not so good!

    The food was outstanding and service but we left our credit card behind and have been unable to contact the restaurant. No one picks up the telephone. How can a restaurant operate this way. You can not even contact a manager. In the meantime we have no idea who has our credit card. Very disappointing in this respect

    We have been going to Chops for many years for all of our special occasions, and while we may have had one meal out of all that time (I ordered a different type of fillet…it was a bit too salty) that may have been a bit off, we have enjoyed consistency in the quality and overall experience. Last night was outstanding! Our servers in the past have always been attentive and professional…but Donna was the best server my husband and I have ever interacted with in all our years of fine dining…anywhere! Everyone should hire more Donna’s!

    Little disappointed. Issues with table service, and temperature of steaks. Three of four were incorrect. Two were returned. No one dined at the same time since the returned steaks were remade. Disappointed with the minor pushback from the staff. We decided to skip dessert. Didn’t want to continue an already disappointed evening. Won’t return.

    Service was outstanding! We were celebrating my wife's Birthday and had table of 9ppl. My wife ordered her steak medium rare and when it came out it was more medium. The server agreed that it was not medium rare and said she would send a manager over. When the manager arrived she said that it was medium rare and they way she spoke and talked to my wife was degrading. As of my wife and no clue what medium rare looked like. And the point that the manager did not do this discretely, she did it so our guest could hear. My wife was so embarrassed that she did not pry anymore for a new steak. For the amount of money you charge you should leave with liking your meal. My wife left embarrassed and upset on her Birthday. Not the special evening we had planned.

    Some hiccups which the waitress accepted responsibility for the first. The hot appetizer came with the salad vs appetizer first then the salad. My salad that I requested light dressing was heavily dressed. Then the meal came and the eggplant my steak was sitting on was very cold. I also ordered their signature steak sauce which did not come. After asking about it I was given salad dressing. Someone stopped by to ask how the entrees were and I told him about the eggplant and asked what the dressing was (very light in color and vinegar taste) for the steak. He recognized it as salad dressing and then brought what he stated was the steak sauce. Again the sauce was very cold and not tasty as a dressing for steak. I still am thinking it was a dark balsamic dressing? The augratin potatoes were not hot either. The rest of the meal such as my steak and my husband’s prime rib were very good. First time we have had issues with Chop’s. Best part of the night was learning about the 40% off the bill since it was under new management.

    We had a reservation (6 people) at 5:45 on a Friday night and was seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was busy and appeared to be mostly full. The food and service were very good and the manager stopped by our table several times to check on us. Overall, the experience was very positive and with the summer promotion of 40% off entire bill, it was a no brainer.

    We have been to Chops many times. Perhaps last night was an off night or I didn’t order the right items . I requested my salmon medium rare and sadly it was overcooked and also had an off taste. I barely ate it. On the other hand my husband’s filet was perfectly cooked medium rare.

    My wife and I truly enjoyed our evening at Chops. Service was amazing thanks to our server Amanda. She made some recommendations and they were perfect. She was there when we needed her but was invisible while we enjoyed the food. I'm already planning our next visit and hopefully we can request Amanda. Sorry we didn't take any pictures because we were busy eating.

    Didn’t have a good experience. The service was very slow and our food was cold when it arrived. It took 2 hours for 4 of us to complete our dinner and we almost missed our show. Can’t say that we will be going back.

    Good dining experience, just short of great. Server was excellent, very attentive and accommodating. Atmosphere was pleasant and reservation experience was excellent. Food was mostly good but porterhouse came out and was served without being removed from the bone. Value was excellent as they are running a 40% off your bill promotion. I always enjoyed this restaurant under the Culinary Concepts ownership, will try again under the new Phelan Group ownership and see if things improve.

    The food was fantastic. Wine was delicious too. But service really spoiled our experience. I’be been a server for much of my adult life so I have a high tolerance when I know servers are actually trying, but she was simply bad. We visited to celebrate my birthday and a new career with my fiancé and young son. Hosts gave me a birthday card but our server never acknowledged it. Hosts seemed unhappy to be there. They didn’t bother to ask if we wanted a high chair (we did). Server took 15 minutes to greet us, only after seeing another server ask we had been helped yet. She blamed the hostesses for over seating her but upon looking at her section, one table had dinner, another had just ordered, and the last was still open. We ordered a drink and asked for a high chair, and a question regarding the menu (pretty simple- does this cut have a bone in?). She didn’t know the menu, and it took an additional 20 minutes for us to get the requested high chair. Server made us give our entree order first. Dinner was great. Server simply asked if we were done and had the check ready to give to us. Again no mention of our celebration. We left, full but unhappy. My fiance apparently did say something to the manager but she had nothing to say other than why didn’t you mention anything before? Maybe I’ll try the bar next time if I decide to return.

    Server wanted to be anywhere else but doing her job. Prices are incredibly high and the quality was lacking. We were very disappointed in this visit. May reconsider a future visit. Too many great restaurants to pay those prices and get incredibly poor service. We’ve had better experiences there than last nights experience, but the prices are just too expensive not to make it a dining experience that is not off of the charts great! We dined at Trulucks the evening before and got wonderful service and incredible food for way less than we spent last night.

    The food was excellent!! All 8 of us loved what we ordered. Waitress came to table a lot and was very attentive. The apple pie and cinnamon ice was to die for. We will for sure be coming back. Just moved here and love this place!!
