The service was great and the food was delicious!! 😊
both our dinners were average bordering on below average for portions and quality.
The prices seeem geared to customers expense accounts and not representative of the quality . As far as a nice bar - very good.
Great service and great food. Steaks and scallops were delicious. Our waiter was great - Evangelos
Very good! Both steaks were cooked to perfection and the service was great. Didn't have to wait for beverage refills. We had reservations but it didn't seem there was a long wait for others.
It was the tiniest piece of steak I’ve ever seen. Service was great though. Bartender, Billy, was awesome. Our waiter was attentive and funny.
We have been to this restaurant a few times and usually we highly enjoy our time there. Unfortunately our recent experience was less than expected. Our order was taking incorrectly, wrong meal was brought out to us, poorly cooked meat, and very slow service.
Very attentive staff and great food
Very much enjoyed Chopps; went for Dine Out Boston Prix Fix Menu. I would go back anytime
Husband birthday - noise level from bar and dj was disappointing
Knowledge and friendly wait staff, melt in your mouth food.
Food was quite good. Various items from scallops to filet mignon. Service also attentive but not overwhelming. Downside were 1) relatively small and expensive portions (e.g. 8 oz filet was more like 6 oz and around $48) and the scallops were small in quantity (5-6 for $36). Also, my wife ordered a salad with a scallop add-on. The waiter brought the expensive scallop dinner, apologized for missing the salad and comp'd the salad, but in the end it was more expensive than the salad/scallop combo that had been ordered.
Our server Michael was absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and personable!
The food was actually very good..
I would go back ..
Just a basic hotel restaurant that has no business being called a high end Chopp House.....We will not return
The ice in my old fashion was melted by the time it got to the table. I ordered a bone in filet mignon medium rare, it came out raw. By the time they brought my filet back to the table my wife was done eating and it tasted like they put it in the microwave .
I noticed that I wasnt alone with my complaint. Three tables around me were complaining about the same thing.
I let the waitress know (who was very nice and attentive) we would never eat there again.
It was not a happy valentines dinner event .
Friendly atmosphere with moderate background noise. Food quality was excellent with a special plus given to the crab cakes. Quality and price were appropriate.
First time to Chops and it was a good experience. This is a typical steakhouse in that it was a bit on the expensive side but was not a-la-cart like a Capital Grille. I ordered the filet (boneless) and my wife ordered swordfish. Both were cooked perfect and tasted superb. Service was good, relaxed and not rushed. Atmosphere was fairly quiet also....much better than a typical steakhouse where you have to yell to have a conversation once it gets busy. Overall we were quite pleased and will definitely go back.
Food was fine but not exceptional, drinks just ok, service lackluster. Not likely to come again.
Knew nothing about the place, greeted fast, nice ambiance, waitress was knowledgeable and friendly, food was delicious and the steaks cooked to perfection. So tender you didnt need a knife. A little on the pricey side but otherwise a great place to eat and drink.
Got thw Delmonico and my son got the filet mignon, both medium rare. Delish! The brussel sprouts were phenomenal too. Highly recommended.
Well. They didn’t have a reservation for us even though we received many confirmations from you. The menu was totally different than the menu on open table too. It was my birthday even and the woman who was to seat us was rude and walked away leaving us to seat ourselves. But chef Andrew was exceptional and came to assure we enjoyed our meals.
Very disappointed for a New Years - non-celebration. Atmosphere was NOT what I expected. Too casual, open air, bright, loud . . . I would NOT categorize the noise level as ENERGETIC - just loud
For the prices, did not produce the service or elegant dining
Always great. Our waitress was great. Very friendly. Michael is always great too.
We came here for Christmas dinner. I had the butternut squash ravioli and my hustand
had the strip steak. My ravioli were very good, but my husband said his steak had a little
too much fat. We split a dessert - lemon cheesecake - which was very good.
They cancelled our reservation and told me only upon arriving. They did not save a table by the bar either. So we left.
Ok ! Pretty place
Excellent steaks and seafood. Try the lamb chop appetizer as well as their crab cake.
Loved the comfortable seating. Feels like you are at home. Everything was great. The food was very good. Menu had something for everyone. Loved the restaurant and will be back again.
Food was tasty - service was very good while this is in a hotel and very busy . The Brussel sprouts are the best and crab cakes are wonderful - steaks and burgers too
Delicious food; excellent service; outstanding dining experience. Highly recommend!
I had the filet au poivre with scallops. The steak was perfect and very tender. Sides were excellent as well. This place seems extremely underrated but delivers every time we eat here.
Upset about spending my money. Waiter was great. But that was about it
My girlfriend and I wanted a nice dinner out and Chopps was a great find. We asked for a got a nice quiet table, the cocktails were delicious (the bartender was very accommodating), the food was phenomenal (especially the Lamb chop appetizer), and our waiter, Evangelos, was top-notch. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
My wife and I went to Chopps to celebrate our five month anniversary and the staff set us up at a table in a private area which I had requested.
We usually go here when we want great beef and this place never disappoints.
To begin we had an order of the Calamari which was quite excellent. It had a light batter and included battered cherry peppers as well.
We then ordered our main courses, I had my usual Skirt Steak with Mac and Cheese and my wife ordered the Pork Loin with vegetables.
Both dishes were excellent, meat cooked to perfection, sides were hot and perfectly prepared and we really enjoyed the meal and the evening.
I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone for just a casual meal or a special occasion and if you like meat, this is the place. Chopps buys the best grass fed meats and know how to prepare them to perfection. Couple this with the fact that they are quite a bargain for the quality they present. AAA+
Food was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
Exceptional service, extremely comfortable atmosphere. Moderately priced for the quality of food!!!! Highly recommended!
Food was delicious, service was wonderful and a very pleasant ambiance!!
Went during Restaurant Week and ended up ordering off the regular menu. Service was outstanding. One meal, the pork chop, was excellent. My meal, the scallops were ok. Pricing was very expensive for the quality and prep of the meal. It was suggested by our waiter that the beef was the best thing on the menu. Wish I had taken his advice.
