Awesome as always! I had the Redfish Almandine and my usual Cosmopolitan martini!! It was absolutely delicious !!!
We've lived in NOLA and had never tried them before. Was seated by the bathrooms even with a reservation and other available seating. Food was good but not to the caliber of a Doris Metropolitan or Ruth Chris (for price comparison). My steak had zero seasoning (no hints of salt) and the carpaccio was not good. No olive oil, lemon juice, parmesan, etc. , only balsamic.
Will not be back.
Staff was fantastic! They even accommodated my slightly large party for my friends 30th birthday.
Truly enjoyed my experience here, i can’t remember my servers name but she was amazing! If you can connect this survey to her i would greatly appreciate it. Jonée Cousin is the name under the reservation from this past Sunday!
Our food was excellent; drinks perfect, and service was impeccable!
The food was great. The ambiance was terrific. The service was good. It was a little loud. Would go again.
Celebrated my birthday here on Saturday night. Ordered the shrimp cocktail and the baked shrimp to start - each had 3 pieces, both were just OK. They are supposed to serve warm bread with the baked shrimp that you dip into the hot garlic butter but the server forgot (when it finally came, everything was dried up). For the main event, I got the bone-in rib eye and it was absolutely delicious - cooked to perfection and served on a super hot plate. Sides of steak fries and mushrooms - pretty good but would have liked more variety of mushroom. For dessert we got one "table-sized chocolate cake (priced at $29) - we split it among three people and nobody could finish their serving. The restaurant was busy (looked like every table was occupied); we never felt rushed but the servers weren't always as responsive as one might expect.
I've never had a bad experience here, and my last visit was just as memorable as my previous visits. The only downside to my visit the Stone Crabs weren't available, other than that I enjoyed my evening, and look forward to my next visit.
George was great. He gave us recommendations and they were great. Cold lump crab cocktail and the shrimp. Took key lime home. It was the best piece of key lime I have ever had. We will return.
Very mediocre for the price. A bit disappointing.
As usual Chophouse delivered good service and an excellent meal.
Great place picked out. Everyone was happy with the meal and the service was terrific!!!
Not sure if this was an “off” night or what. The food was bland! Steaks were cooked well but not seasoned and I even ordered the “Cajun style.” The rest of our party of five had the exact same reaction. The lobsters were rubbery...seemed previously frozen. Highly overpriced. The best thing we had was the Leidenheimer bread. 😬 We were SO looking forward to an amazing meal and we were extremely underwhelmed. With so many amazing restaurants in the city, I would skip this one.
Overcrowded, packed to capacity even with COVID regulations. The food took forever. Many guest were not dressed according to the guest code that we were told.
Amazing service and food.. would recommend to anyone
Great food, better service. Always checked with us and made sure everything was cooked to perfection
Everything was amazing from the appetizers to the desserts, would recommend Chophouse to anyone who’s looking for good food and a great atmosphere!! My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our 2nd Anniversary there!!!
I have been to chophouse quite a few times and the food along with the service has always been amazing. However, on Valentine’s Day it was not the experience I am used to. It seems like tables were trying to be turned over as the result of it being a holiday in the name of making money. I ordered a medium rare steak that was just flat out rare which means my food was rushed. Also the waiter seemed like he was on a rush to get us out, he kept coming back to check on us when nothing was ever needed. It was a constant reminder for us to basically get out.
I don’t recommend the outdoor dining. The experience is so much better inside. We ordered the same things but there was no tableside service. The potatoes were prepared in the kitchen and brought to us. They weren’t mixed correctly. The waiter wasn’t as attentive as last time.
Every level of personnel service from manager to busser were friendly, efficient and professional. The food was delivered hot, well-seasoned and the portions were more than filling. The lobster might be the best prepared of all the steakhouses in New Orleans! Easily a top tiered Nola steakhouse. Great outdoor seating, wonderful service and incredible steak & seafood dishes.
Loved it and great place for romantic memories. The service was excellent and I’m glad that we went.
Great ambiance and food was tasty
I would recommend the fried lobster! It was amazing! I would go again
Steaks were phenomenal, great cuts and perfect char. The rest of our meal was good. I wish I could give a 4.5 rating, 5 for the steaks and service and 4 for the salad and sides.
The Chophouse is the perfect no frills steakhouse. The food and drinks were all delicious and the service was truly top notch. The best steak I’ve had in New Orleans, hands down!
Our crab bisque, and jumbo lump crab cocktail were both outstanding, and some of the best in our city.My filet was perfect, our potatoes were good, and the Key Lime Pie was excellant. We had to send my wife's grouper back,as it was too lemony and kinda mushy.
Drinks were prepared perfectly. On a side note,my wife appears to have lost her "Liskow Lewis " badge to enter the Whitney Hancock building, which may have come off her coat at our table. Please contact me if it turned up.We will be back within a short period of time for another dinner, and hopefully stone crabs will be back then.
Bday and it was awesome
No valet available so parking was $15. Other than that everything about this experience was amazing. Will be revisiting again as well as referring friends.
We had a great time visiting this restaurant for the first time. It was our son’s 15th birthday and I’ll wait staff made it very special for him. We loved the overall look and feel of the place and the food is absolutely incredible
I’ve eaten here several times but wasn’t thrilled this time like I usually am. My food was just ok! It usually gives me everything and I didn’t have that feeling this go round. Was excited about this outing being I haven’t been out in forever but maybe just wasn’t my night. Still give them a 4/5.
It was good. Steak was a little under cooked in some parts.
Food was great, server had better things to do
Amazing!!! Every staff member was exceptional and courteous. Food was delicious. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
Food,dinner,service,all excellent, never disappointed
Our waiter, Brandon, was very attentive and make wonderful recommendations!
Joseph was very entertaining.
I was pleasantly surprised, not 1 complaint! The food was amazing!
It was nice ,overall enjoyed. But not a place I would frequent
Server was a little distant
Excellent as always if you like Pittsburgh style steaks
Consistently one of the best places in New Orleans. Always one of our favorites. The food is outstanding the service is impeccable and the ambience is perfect for this kind of dining. They do a wonderful job at their steaks and if that’s what you’re looking for you will not find better.
It’s expensive but cheap to pay for quality. And their desserts are top notch.
