Possibly the best steak we've ever eaten. Service was spectacular. It is pricey but worth the money. Steaks and sides are massive. Chocolate cake dessert was as big as my head. Only off item is it's so crazy dark inside.
This is a smoking establishment with ZERO separation for non smokers. Not conducive for high end ambiance. Not likely to return as a result.
Waiters had to apologize for slowness. 3 people for $200 with no alcohol is absurd with bad service. Had to send sea bass back to be recooked. Did not get bread until 30 minutes into start of dining. Very disappointed, overall. Very slow on water refills. Overall overworked staff who tried but who could not deliver.
Chophouse is the go-to place when you desire a superb dinning experience. A great variety of quality wines, liquors, steaks, and lobster.
I have been a guest at Chophouse for going on 12 years now and the service and food has always been nothing less than superb.
Most recent visit was Mother's Day.
My 22 oz Bone in Ribeye & Asparagus,- perfect!
Oyster's Rockefeller is defentaley a must for an appetizer!
Wonderfull visit as the family was very impressed with their meals aswell.
Thank you Chophouse for serving Greenville, S.C.
Mother’s Day lunch was a nice experience for all of us. Food and service were great.
The Mother’s Day brunch was absolutely delicious!! My only complaint would be that the lighting was so dim you could hardly read the menu without a flashlight. I like low lighting but not to the point you cannot see the menu!!
Stone crab tasted as though it had been frozen. The prime bone in ribeye was tough probably only choice plus at best. You need to work with your beef supplier he is not treating you fairly.
Perfect night for celebrating our middle child’s graduation with his Masters! Service and food and wine were all perfect!! A night to remember! Thank you!!
Fantastic food and great service! A personal favorite of mine.
I took my grown daughter there for her birthday. We chose the choice steak but at 16 oz, it was too large so we had them to cut it in half. Tough to cut and chew. No real flavor. Our Caesar salad also was tasteless and dry ; we split that also. We also had the half potato and onion rings for a side dish. The potato had a weird aftertaste but my daughter described it as burnt while the onion rings were not seasoned with any salt. I don't have to say we will not be going back. Disappointing after the reviews and the cost. Our waiter was just fine though condescending at times. The bus people were friendlier. For some reason, they felt it necessary to sit us near the kitchen though there were several empty tables. When we left those tables were still empty.
Perfect steaks and service, as usual! And attention to our request for a table away from the bar. Outstanding! Thanks.
Our dinner at Chophouse 47 was outstanding! We started with a cocktail and our friends ordered a bottle of red wine. It’s not often one can get a great Long Island iced tea, but ours was perfect. Our server allowed us ample time to enjoy our drinks before taking our order. The baked shrimp and oysters Rockefeller that our server suggested were both delicious! Our table ordered three different steaks and all were cooked to perfection! Equally delicious were the sides of cheesy mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and salad! Our server, Patrick, was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. He made our evening At Chophouse 47 a memorable one, and it might be our new favorite restaurant In Greenville!
Seven of us dined here to celebrate my birthday. It was so much fun! The three hours we spent there flew! I would describe the service as “over-the-top”! Doug and his team anticipated every need and did so in a pleasant, non-obtrusive manner. The food, lots of it, was delicious! Will definitely return.
THIS A GREAT STEAK HOUSE , BEST STEAKS IN GREENVILLE , BUT A LITTLE PRICCY , SERVICE WAS GREAT AS WELL , WE WILL BE BACK SOON
Gave it a 4 overall because the Porterhouse was bland.
Service was great, the wait staff was wonderful and the BACON appetizer was the super delicious.
Price was reasonable for the quality of the food about $170 for a dinner for two.
Excellent! Never disappointed. We went for our anniversary. Steak was amazing.
Thanks ... Phil our waiter was over the top.. we eat slow and he was accommodating ..
Big Fire wine was excellent
I love this place. Never had a bad meal. The service is attentive without hovering. Great food done well time after time.
Great Birthday experience! The oyster shooters were the best! Thanks for a great night out.
Dinner was good as always. We like to come hear a few times a year and it never disappoints.
Our dining experience was excellent - great service and well prepared food. I would recommend this dining experience for special occasions and business meals. The overall experience was wonderful, but just more expensive than what I would normally spend on a daily basis.
Great as always!
Steak was perfect. We did not leave hungry. Portions were hefty and more than enough to satisfy.
The steaks and the service are consistently superb!
Phil was excellent!
Have been taking customers to Chophouse for years. Love it every time.
Always quality food and service but don't go there if you don't like the smell of smoke. The adjoining bar to the dining room allows smoking.
Good but a bit too smokey for our party's liking
Always love our visits to the Chophouse. We never leave disappointed
Very good, great
The food was good but it’s the first smokey restaurant I have been in (in the US) in a long time.
Extremely overpriced. Service was fine. Steak was tuff and grisly. Mushroom side was undercooked. I ordered a glass of wine that was $25.00, I could buy in an entire bottle of the same any day for the same price. The salad was good. We won’t be back. Much better food and much less expensive nearby.
It was more expensive than it needed to be. There was smoking in the restaurant and was fairly loud. Great food and service though.
Amazing food and service!! Will definitely be back!
Love this place! The food and service never disappoint!
This month we went on a Monday, which turned out to be very busy with business groups. The conversations were such that it drowned out the overhead music, which is one of the reasons we like so much to visit. We will be sure to skip Mondays going forward.
True old fashion steak not many left like this !!
The meal was phenomenal. The service was great, and our team was very accommodating with every request. My wife has some food allergies, and they made an item up special for her.
Wonderful place to enjoy a paced meal with great service, food and beverage. The steaks area amazing. but don't be fooled, they have the best lobster in the upstate, and you would never regret having the Sea Bass. The sides are generous and I recommend spliting those for two, which they will gladly do for you. Request a big booth if you have a party of four to six, and a small booth is romantic for two. They have a couple of areas for larger groups or business meetings. One of these areas is beautifully, glassed off for less noise during a meeting. The bourbon and wine list are appropriately lengthy and give you the opportunity to try something new, or revisit an old friend.
Overall, this is our preferred date night location and where we like to take friends and family when they come to town.
High quality food and services. We are regulars.
