First time visit to Chophouse 47. Unfortunately, I had to rate poorly due to their lack of Covid-19 precautions. The food was fantastic- but by the time we started eating, the restaurant was packed (no social distancing for tables and no apparent capacity reduction) and while all of the staff were wearing face coverings, I think we were the only dining table who routinely put ours back on when not actively eating or drinking. As the restaurant filled up, of course so did the volume...which means the other tables all started raising their (maskless) voices. Not a great combo clustered inside, during a pandemic. I would not return- certainly not until the pandemic eases. I realize the hospitality business is struggling during this time, and in fact that was one of the reasons we decided to dine out while passing through Greenville. But I was expecting more respect for Covid precautions.

Wonderful food and atmosphere!

It was wonderful, from the appetizer all the way through dessert. Service was the best, even got a recommendation from the manager on dessert selection and he was spot on. Will be back for sure, it made the 1.5hr drive totally worth it.

Chophouse is amazing! Doug is the best and every other waiter/waitress in that building! Excellent service! Excellent food! Everything was perfect!

Extremely over priced for a modest steak. Will definitely not be going back because there’s way better restaurants at a fraction of the cost!

This location consistently serves the best steak I’ve ever had. The Crab Cocktail, authentic NOLA French Bread and Petite Filet are my favorite menu items. The cheese cake is also amazing!

Drinks were pretty good but the garlic chicken wasn’t seasoned enough or something. Over all bill was $127 and the food wasn’t worth that at all!!

The food was poor. The 57 dollar steak had no flavor. I ordered It medium and it came out rare. Brussels sprouts tasted like they sat out under a heating lamp and the mash potatoes tasted like they came straight from KFC. The oyster shooters were good.

Ordered the 22oz ribeye steak asked for well done and got a rare steak with it still being a little chill.

Had reservations, but still had to wait 45 min. Steak was good but alacart sides were disappointing.

Great food; service was a little lackluster as well as the location of the table. Was seated in a little nook with four other tables; the gentleman seated behind me had to get up in order for me to access my chair (and vice versa).

The food was definitely not worth the money and for Peek’s sake cut some lights on!

My steak was fine, but my daughters was good, but not great. The filet she ordered had some tough parts but not enough to complain too much while there. For that kind of money we expect excellent! The service was good but not spectacular. I’ve been to enough restaurants around the US, and maybe my expectations were out of line. I don’t know if I would go back, but I’m open to a second and even a third try.

We went at 1:45 for Sunday brunch to change it up a little. Well being creatures of habit we ate from the main menu and just took our time and visited and slowly enjoyed some cocktails and the always wonderful meal. Service spot on. You just can't go wrong.

Absolutely the best service and mind blowing steaks. Huge tasty portions in the alacarte's.

Food was great. Restaurant was packed and very loud. Despite having a reservation we waited more than 30 minutes past our reservation time before being seated. Tried to put us at a table located in bar area though upon our request we’re able to move us to main dining area. Not quite as expected for a date night experience

First time eating here.Loved the atmosphere and food was off the chain.Definitely will be back.

Had an early Valentine's dinner on the 13th. As always, the food and service were very good. They had over 500 reservations, so a little slow in getting the main course out after the appetizers were served. But that's to be expected with SO many people being served! Wish they had had stone crab claws as my wife had her pallet set for claws.

The food was outstanding, the service was average. What ruined the evening was the atmosphere. Servers were rushing around changing tables from a 4 top to 6 top, moving chairs all around, food carts being pushed here and there and every time server walked by my chair they banged into me. It was like dining in a bus station. We have dined at Chophouse 47 many times and this is not the norm, hope it doesn’t become the norm.

Where do I start, no sweet tea, sides were warm at best, sides had no seasoning (like high school cafeteria food) steaks were ok (had better for half the price). Will stick with Ruth Chris from now on ,never had a bad experience.

Made reservations for 2-several months ago for the dining room. When we arrived they tried to seat us at a small table in the corner of the bar at the door. There was 2-other tables in this small area with 2-other couples seated. We were on top of each other and my decided that we would just move to the bar for our dinner. Worked out good because it was around 5:30pm and not that yet that crowded at the bar. My wife's comment was if we are going to pay the price they list then we are at least going to be comfortable and enjoy some room.

Excellent staff and excellent food. Truly a great establishment. Our waiter Phil is the best of the best and they should truly be grateful for him. Class act to go along with the great atmosphere.

I’ve had better steak and the oyster shooters were not fresh.

We loved our time here. It’s a little dark inside (make sure to bring your reading glasses)🙂 The amazing wine selection and food makes up for it for sure.

For the price, would have been nice to have a rose for the lady on Valentine's day.

Reservation was for 8pm and we weren’t seated until 840. The restaurant also didn’t enforce mask wearing or social distancing in the lobby. Very disappointed in that aspect of our dining experience. Food and server were great.

Was the Valentine’s Day weekend and it was busy but they did all the best to accommodate us and everything was great

One of our regular places...we like it because its a nice, quiet place to have a great dinner,

This was a double Birthday celebration. I was surprised the Birthday guests didn’t get a complimentary drink or dessert.

The music was too loud and the lighting was too low to be able to read the menu.

The Sea Bass was excellent. The Asparagus was huge & tough, evidenced by the fact that the steak knives couldn’t cut it. The Hollandaise sauce was non-existent and the medium-rare steak was too rare & cool. The bread was excellent. The Caesar Salad was nothing to write home about. The Wait Staff was excellent and very attentive.

Great food. Service was not great or very good for an upscale restaurant. I have enjoyed great experiences here in the past. Maybe they were busier than normal? I recommended this place to my friends who joined me for dinner and they were not overly impressed and I felt a little embarrassment since I raved about this place from my several past experiences. Again, maybe just a super busy night. Right now I couldn't recommend to a friend comfortably, but I will probably try again and reevaluate.

We waited over an hour and a half for our food. Our server Doug was outstanding. He said he had asked the manager to come by and apologize for the length of time we waited for our food. The manager never came by.
The food was good but it was not worth what we were charged.

It is always a great experience at Chophouse. I was there twice in one week.
