I really appreciate that CHOP is careful about CO-VID precautions and makes it possible to dine outdoors as long as feasible. They have placed outdoor patio heaters to make guests more comfortable. Quality of food is excellent as always here, and service is outstanding.

Timing of appetizers and entrees was spot on. Used dishes and glasses removed promptly. Food was delicious and unique. Nice, visual presentation of food. Comfortable open seating, without overly obnoxious Covid safety precautions. The only cons were that the bread appeared to be over browned on the bottom (almost scorched), and our server knew nothing about the two wines I inquired about

This may be tedious, but I would have given all 5 stars but compared to the rest of the food one item that I usually love and is not always available at restaurants was just not done to the level the rest of the food was made. I am thrilled when I see double baked potato as an option on the menu, so naturally I order it when I see it. All items I ordered were done amazingly. The double baked potato looked and tasted like a very, very beginning cook made it. It was disappointing. It was flat like a potato skin and almost burnt.
Would highly recommend. Food and Service was excellent. Prices a bit on the high side and that cost it a star. If I could rate drink prices separately they would get 3 stars. Have a few cocktails somewhere else and then one before dinner drink and a dinner drink. You'll be happier with the overall cost because the food and service are worth every penny.
Ambiance and environment felt welcoming and comfortable, but the food was overpriced for the quality.
We loved Chop! Limited choices, only 2 salad and 2 potato options. All four of us were satisfied with that, and we all had steak. My filet was spectacular! And I liked the smashed potatoes. My Manhattan was excellent, service was great. The only downside was the noise level. We had trouble hearing each other, despite what look like acoustic panels hanging from the ceiling. I’ll be back!

For a place whose focus is so heave on steak, I was disappointed with the cut provided. I ordered a ribeye; and felt that the quality of the cut was lesser than what I could by at my local specialty butcher. Flavors were there, and it was cooked well, but the quality of cut was lacking which left me slightly disappointed.
We should have been told when We called for reservations that the bar was closed. We arrived 45 minutes early assuming we could sit and have a drink before dinner. Instead, we had to sit outside and have our drink out of a plastic cup. It was chilly! Also, I had to remind the hostess after 45 minutes we were waiting for our table.
Food was delicious and service was great. Our only negative was that neither my husband's nor my tenderloin was cooked to medium, both were medium-well. The steak was so tender and still delicious, so we didn't send them back, just wished the chef had cooked them less.
Food was good! We started with the pot stickers. They were delicious! My husband got the potato soup, which was kind of bland. For his meal he got the surf and turf, and really enjoyed the lobster. I enjoyed the house salad, and beef tips with potatoes. I had a little leftover for breakfast the next day. My only wish would be an extra vegetable side like broccoli, or green beans. Service was timed perfectly, and everyone was super friendly. In the time of COVID, dining out can be an intimidating experience. We felt comfortable and safe the entire time. Wonderful outdoor dining experience for our family with 2 young children. Family oriented yet upscale. Our food was fantastic, service excellent even with Covid precautions in place. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience. We will be back again!

The chopped house salad was amazing, and the steak was honestly one of the best I've ever had - perfectly char-grilled. I've never been to Chop before, but now I can't wait to go back.

This was our first time dining at Chop and we're glad we chose to do so. Upon being seated our server was very prompt in providing us with menus. After reviewing the choices my wife decided to have the lamb chops and I chose the whitefish. When the meals arrived both were prepared perfectly. My meal was absolutely one of the best fish dishes I have ever had. To compliment our dinners we chose an Australian Chardonnay from the Robert Oatley Winery and while we've enjoyed Australian wines in the past we had never had this particular brand. We found it to be most enjoyable. Our server provided great service and we weren't rushed at all. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return to Chop the next time we visit Door County.
