CHOP is the "Go To" restaurant in Sister Bay. Food is always done to perfection and the service is excellent. I especially like the salmon.

I always have a good experience at Chop and we like the early bird special.

We were a group of five women dining out on our girl's weekend. Judy our server was fantastic. We made reservations for early dining and it was such a great value. However, be careful of making substitutions or upgrading the meal. The price can jump up substantially. Overall a fabulous time and amazing food. We will be back.

Our server Jason, was fantastic in every way. Food was incredible. We were there on a somewhat slow night, so it was a quiet relaxing setting. Overall great dining experience!

Love Chop in Door County! Variety of choices on the menu. I had the beef burgundy which was flavorful and the beef was tender! My guest had the New York strip and requested it medium. It was to his liking! We were early birds and took advantage of the early dining promotion. This turned out to be a great deal. I highly recommend it!

Excellent service and amazing food! I would absolutely come back and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Made reservations weeks in advance, showed up30 minutes prior to that time. Told the Hostess we were going to the bar to have a drink. She gave our table away. Was put upstairs, took forever for our waitress to come over. We had to ask for our rolls after 25 minutes, she never came back after we got our food and had been done eating for a while. Have never had bad service before this but it was awful! Ruined our anniversary dinner( we have gone there the last 4 years for our anniversary).

Food was excellent. Seasonal salad, filet, scallops, salmon were all great. Service was friendly but slow between courses— we waited a while and It took about 2 hours total to dine (with reservations). Our waters were not always kept full. Halfway through dinner a large family came in and they sat two of the Children (maybe around 8-10 years old) right next to our table on the same bench and the rest of the family at a circle table nearby, so we feel that could have been better planned.

We had a 5:00 p.m reservation. We ordered from the early special menu. Great food and wonderful service. Will definitely go back. Also perfect location in Sister Bay.

We look forward to dining at Chop whenever we visit Door County. So much so, that I make our reservation right after I book our hotel. Service is always excellent. The botanical martini was so tasty my husband had to order one for himself. Rave reviews for the French onion soup. The Caesar salad was disappointing with bland dressing and a stale toast instead of croutons. The beef burgundy was a generous serving, tender meet in a flavorful gravy served with mashed potatoes. The tenderloin medallions were served on crusty crostini with a nice bourbon peppercorn cream sauce. Excellent. They both came with mashed potatoes. The potatoes were bland, lacking butter, cream and seasoning.

We always LOVE CHOP! They were a little busier than usual with the Fall Fest crowd, but Adam really took care of us. As always, the food was great. We will definitely be back.

Excellent food, great service, wide variety of choices. Do not sit in middle of restaurant when crowded as it is quite loud.

Dinner started off great, but waiter admitted he forgot about us. We wait an extremely long time, we loved the food but service made the experience bad.

We were seated in the bubble on the roof. It was really unique and comfortable. Would be great to be out there when it was snowing. We had Aleta as a waitress and she was absolutely wonderful. Very kind and attentive. Will definitely ask for her next time. Our meal was served hot and it was delicious. LOVE THIS PLACE!

I was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent and the server was very good. Liked it so much I went back two days in a row.

Vacation dining at Chop was quite enjoyable. My husband appreciated the elevator to access the second floor dining room. My husband had the duck which was crispy as advertised which he thoroughly enjoyed and I had the beef burgundy which came with mashed/smashed potatoes. Both dishes were delectable and we’ll enjoy them again as we took some of both with us as leftovers. We enjoyed the carrot cake that we had eyed earlier at a neighboring table though our slice was considerably smaller than our neighbor’s. Though excellent in its own right, I can’t say that it’s the best carrot cake I’ve ever had; that honor goes to the confection served at UW Hospital in Madison! We’ll definitely be back to Chop on our next trip to Door Co.

Food was excellent as always. Service was efficient.

Not worth the prices, restaurant was noisy and not well laid out. I ordered salmon, it was the smallest piece of fish I have ever been served. Worse yet it wasn't even cooked properly.

We went for our anniversary and everything was amazing!

Excellent! My filet was amazing. My husband enjoyed his pork chop as well. We were able to also enjoy some of the dueling pianos show, in the Cellar, after dinner. They are so entertaining, and amazingly talented. We had a great time and will be back!!

Very good food. Can get loud but worth the price. Easy parking.

We were squeezed in a very small round table on 2nd floor, it was our anniversary and the accommodations were a bit uncomfortable.
