Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    Second time at this steak house and I am disappointed. Both times, all steaks ordered were NOT cooked to specification. This last time one steak was asked for medium well, pink all the way through, it was medium at most. I asked for medium rare and it was raw 2/3rds through. Not going back

    Always consistent. It's hard to find anything to complain about. The crème brûlée was cold, but it was otherwise amazing and will tell tail sign of real vanilla was present at the bottom so it just didn't quite heat all the way through. Everything else was marvelous.

    One of our best experiences and we dine here a lot! The food was cooked perfectly and our servers (sorry I can’t remember their names but one nice young man and another shadowing/in training) were EXCELLENT! Thank you Chop!

    We had the smoked ribeye at Chop recommended by friends so we specifically went with that in mind. Although the flavour of the steak was delicious, the steak was tough with a lot of gristle. For the price it was not worthwhile. On the other hand, the staff were very accommodating and friendly. I might return to try something different.. but not sure.

    Our dinner would have been much better if the service was. We just happened to get a new server, unbeknownst to us, and if we had known, the dinner would maybe have gone a little more smoothly. As it was, the manager comped a good portion of our meal, making my unsatifactory birthday a little more bearable. Everything else was fine.
