   Every time we visit this place, it’s an exceptional experience. The food and drinks are consistently outstanding, and the Southern hospitality truly shines. The aged New York steak was absolutely astonishing. What really set this visit apart was the service, it was on another level. We originally ordered our steak medium well, but it arrived without enough pink in the center. We informed our waitress, who promptly brought it to the manager’s attention. He personally came over and replaced the steak with a new cut, no questions asked. To our surprise, when the bill arrived, the steak had been fully comped. That gesture spoke volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. You guys are amazing, thank you for going above and beyond!

   The food was great once they cooked my steak properly, I asked for medium well and got medium rare, the service was good but had to ask for bread. They did not offer any incentive for us to come back again.

   First time there and amazing experience!! We walked in and were immediately greeted, brought to our table and asked if it was our first time dining there, we said yes, then our server came around with a special treat from the chef , also treated us to a lovely dessert on the house as well! Food was amazing, atmosphere was great, and staff was so nice ! Our server was Sophie and she was so welcoming :)

   My wife and I had been loyal Chop customers for many years, always looking forward to great steaks, appetizers, and service. Our last visit there on May 3, 2025 can only be described as a disaster. To begin, our Caesar salads were mediocre at best. The Chop used to have a great Caesar salad. My wife ordered filet and lobster tail, and a loaded baked potato.. When her entree arrived, there was no lobster tail, but there was mashed potatoes, and very salty at that. I ordered the bone-in side ribs. What arrived was inedible. Instead of the meat falling off the bone, as it should in a properly prepared side rib, this was was stringy, difficult to cut, and tasteless. The manager, who didn't seem particularly concerned with the issue, offered to bring a replacement entree. I chose the Pistachio crusted cod. The cod arrived, after a lengthy wait. Instead of being pistachio crusted, there was a mixture of crushed pistachio dumped on top of the cod. I'm not a chef, but I know what crusted should mean. It will be some time if we ever return to The Chop again.

   We celebrated my belated 65th birthday. We had steak and lobster which was excellent. Our table service person was also excellent. I forgot how noisy it is in there lol. Not a quiet, intimate dining experience but overall we very much enjoyed our meals and good value for excellent quality upscale meals.

    We started with the beet and goat cheese salad to share, it was fantastic. We both had the top sirloin, 7 and 10 oz. The wild rice pilaf was done perfectly and the steak was just the right amount of pink. Our server was attentive but not overly so. We barely had room for dessert but we had it anyhow and the coffee was phenomenal, strong but not bitter.
