Chop was created for people who love sharing, connecting and everything steak. We are proud to offer a menu that shares our commitment to sustainable beef sourcing, serving high-quality cuts of 100% Canadian beef. It isn’t just the meat that’s special – it’s also how we cook it. Our Montague broiler cooks at up to 1800 °F, giving a beautiful crust and flavour to every steak! We slow roast our prime rib in a humidity-controlled oven, keeping it mouth-watering and tender. And we put this level of care into each of our hand-crafted drinks, and from-scratch dishes, including plant-based and seafood options, with something for everyone to enjoy. All of this quality comes with friendly hospitality in warm and energetic rooms. Open for lunch, happy hour, dinner and late-night!

    While the food we had was very tasty and the service was good, we did have a few issues with the accuracy of the orders. Steaks were not cooked as requested and one of the sides ordered was completely wrong. Not huge issues, but on an evening when the restaurant is barely half full, mistakes that probably shouldn’t happen. We were compensated fairly for their errors, which was greatly appreciated. All in all, would go again.

    The prime rib is very good and the waiter and waitresses are very friendly. We go quite often and enjoy it there.

    Our service was great and well informed on how the steaks are cooked and what beef they use. Waitress was great and very attentive. Beautiful atmosphere but we were there on a Saturday night and there was a few birthdays being celebrated so the noise level was a little higher but not intolerable.

    The steak was not cooked to what we asked for. Sent it back and it came back charred. Too expensive for what it is. Staff were great. Restaurant was clean.

    Paris, our waitress took good care of us. We had a lovely desert with 'Happy Anniversary' written on the plate. Although we had a mistake in my meal, Management resolved the problem very promptly. Great Staff and Management. We will be back again.

    Redemption! We came back for a second time since we had a dining disaster the 1st time. My prime rib was juicy & tender and done 2 my liking. My wife’s salmon was done to her perfection. Table service was pleasant & attentive. Our wine selection complemented our main courses. Overall, our dining experience was 5 stars.
