Starters are good for sharing. Especially the steak bites. Good food. Busy place and can be noisy.

Always a trustworthy, reliable steak stop. I used to choose CHOP first, now I choose it as a convenient place to book.

Great service and food, ideal for my business meeting. Try the freshly squeezed grapefruit juice , yummy.

My only negative comments would be that we were never offered or brought bread yet all other tables had it, and I had made a note about it being my husband's birthday and it wasn't acknowledged.

We were pleasantly surprised by our visit to Chop. We were planning on going to the Keg but they were booked. Food and service was excellent and they had a great wine and cocktail list. Would definitely go again.

Visited with my boyfriend for Valentine’s Day. It was our first time at the restaurant and we were eager to try something new. The interior of the restaurant is really classy and decorated beautifully. We both ordered steaks, myself a filet and my boyfriend a strip-loin. My steak came up a bit under my liking and they very quickly took it back and fixed it. Ate the whole thing after that with no complaints - food tasted good but nothing extraordinary. The manager later came by and apologized profusely for the steak being under and said it would be on the house and offered complimentary dessert for the table as well. I was genuinely shocked as they already fixed the meal and I had already eaten all of it. Seriously great service. We thanked him and ordered the chocolate soufflé which was delicious. Overall left feeling very impressed and satisfied with the service and for that we will definitely be back.

Service and food was amazing. There were quite a few families in there for Valentines dinner and a few crying/screaming babies.

I didn’t expect that because I thought it would be busy with mostly couples.

We had a great dinner together and our server was great. She had a great smile and made what seemed like genuine recommendations. (I’m sorry I forgot her name)

We dined yesterday for our Valentine's celebration. Our server's name was Jessica. The place's ambiance was really nice. We were seated by the fireplace. The place was not too noisy and it had a nice romantic vibe. We decided to try out their Winterlicious menu. That's when things kind of went south. Our server barely paid attention to us vs to the attention she provided the two older gentlemen next to our table. She did not ask whether we wanted refills on our water or coffee/tea. Not sure if she thought we'd tip less or something just because we didn't get the regular menu but it just left a bad taste. On a more positive note, the food was pretty good. We really liked the chocolate souffle and the rib eye.

We enjoyed the Prix Fixe Menu as part of Toronto's Winterlicious Event. The food was delicious; the service was prompt; the setting was elegant but cozy. Great Prime Rib. Warm bread was served while we waited for apps which wasn't long. Not far from home. This is becoming one of our regular favorites when we want something special.

It was just OK. We went for Winterlicious, and I'm glad we did, I would have been disappointed having to pay more than what we did. Like I said, it was OK, nothing spectacular.

We came for Winterlicious and got the prime rib and sirloin as mains. Both were good. I would have preferred if the au jus was served on the side instead of directly on the meat. For the price and what we received, I would say the meal was decent, but I prefer their regular menu. They also have a nice wine selection.

Alice is a great server and we have seen her for years. Bar is pretty busy and food was awesome. a little pricey but is it Toronto airport

Server Amanda was a real delight. I was not happy with my original order. She made a suggestion. And , swapped my meal. She made sure our glasses were never empty.
I asked for hot water and she kept it coming. I only drink water.
Very friendly staff.

Good place, good food, Great service, we ordered from the Winterlicious menu and thought the quantity may be less to reflect the prices but this was not the case.

Went to Chop's steakhouse for my best friends surprise party. It was such a lovely experience food was delicious the drinks were good I'd definitely go back, If you are considering try it out its worth it.

The food was marvellous. . . absolutely the best tomato soup ever . . . My friend and I shared 1/2 sandwich each from the Price Fix menu; the short rib and the chicken . . . we loved them! Our waitress was a joy and the ambience was both comfortable and elegant. I definitely will return.

Our meal was fabulous. The waiter was amazing at first. Very attentive and also made a few recommendation. Bang on. The service deteriorated fir some reason over the evening an the attention lacked. Our dishes from the second course were still on the table while we were having desert.
To add insult to injury the manager passed by as we were getting up so I stopped him and passed on my feedback. Surprisingly he just stood there and no reaction. We got up and left.
Very disappointed since the food was very good.

Our server Dillion, was helpful but not to in your face. Everyone was raving about the food and the size of the portions.

The restaurant is right next to a hotel that was having a convention so every table was filled and there a line to get in but the food was good and the service was professional so they handled it well.
