Food was really good and there was enough of it to fill you up. Service was also good. It was a nice, comfortable atmosphere inside, not too loud, not too quiet. I would recommend it for sure depending on your budget.

Unbelievable tasty steaks. Service is friendly. Nice ambience. May be considered a little noisy but not too bad.

Missing open table points for yesterday visited?
Steak and lobster is excellent, we don't like the potato scallop, we have only half tomato, no more other veggie, the menu price is $47.50 each , the bill charged $68.50 each x 2 , the server introduced the Mignon steak for us but he didn't tell us the price. Haha

filet mignon was over cooked, manager took care of problem correctly.

Had a great time at CHOP last night. We celebrated my daughters birthday and they put us in a private room which was a big bonus. The food was so good! Thank you to our server, Megan M! Will be back again!

Great menu, ambience was great, quiet atmosphere for a change.

Great service for my mom’s bday.

I'm glad I gave this place another chance. I've had good experiences here before but last month, all three times I visited turned out quite negatively. Today, everything turned out perfect!

The steak sandwich, lunch prime rib, steak bites all turned out exactly how it should be. Service was also wonderful. Will come back again!

The food was amazing! My husband had a couple of beers and they were delicious too. The kids meals include an appetizer, desert and drink, just don’t ask for a refill for them. All I will say is we asked to get another juice for one of them and the waitress gave us attitude and said “ I’ll do a second, but not a third”. We made it clear we could afford to pay for the refills! After all we had our 3 kids with us us and someone was going to want more juice at some point! Otherwise, the food was spectacular!

Maybe I expected more. The food was ok, but not great. Waiter seemed to forget about us for periods of time.

Pretty good food though I requested my steak medium well and got medium rare. No big deal. Also, when we arrived, we were given a booth that had a large cut out in the wall between tables. Our neighbours were constantly staring at us as our table was lower. When we asked to change tables, they graciously did so and gave us a larger one. The only drawback to this was, if that table was available, why were we put at the "undesirable" one. All in all, a great place to go for steaks and drinks. The servers are very friendly and the food came out at a great pace. We will definitely be back!

Moms birthday was not acknowledged

Our service was so poor. Our appetizer took so long to come. It seemed like our waiter had not put the order in. When it did come, it was not hot. Our appetizer dishes weren't all taken. We had come to your restaurant on another occasion and received very poor service then as well. We have a business and would like to bring our customers there on occasion but when we did, the service was so terrible.

Service was extremely slow. Took 15 minutes for the server to ask for or drink order after we were seated. Then took forever after that for her to take our appetizer order. Another 20 minutes after we finished our appies before dinner arrived we still had our appetizer plates. The entire evening was like this. Super slow. Food was ok not great. Keg is better

Had a very pleasant evening, and at a very affordable price. I used to be a kegger, but Chop Steakhouse is my go-to steakhouse now.

We waited a long time for our food to come even considering the business of the restaurant. Several errors by the server.

This is a hidden gem. The food was excellent and I couldn't ask for anything more from the staff who were there when we needed them. We were there for Valentine's Day and we were both very pleased with everything. We will be back.

Celebrated Valentines Day with 2 other couple. We were seated right away. Friendly staff and wonderful ambiance. We are not hurried to eat and leave. Will definitely go back.

We went out to celebrate our 32nd anniversary/valentine's day. The food was delicious. We had the 3 course special they had for valentine's day. We both had the Creamy Seafood Chowder to start. My husband had the Prime Rib rare just the way he loves it. I had the Blackened Sirloin Crab cake Oscar and extra we ordered a dish of Asparagus. Super yummy. The desserts which we were unable to finish were delicious. They were Fallen Chocolate Souffle and a New York Cheesecake with a cherry compote. We will definitely be returning again for another special occasion.

Champagne was waiting at the table as requested. The food was absolutely delicious and presentation was top notch. This is the second time my lady and I have had dinner there.

I went there on valantines day in the late afternoon and everything was wonderful our server was amazing and the food was delicious

When we first started going to Chop, the prices were much more reasonable. It is becoming cost prohibitive and the food is okay to good - not amazing. We enjoy it when we can get one of the private dining rooms because it can be quite noisy.

We have been coming to Chop for quite a few years now for special occasions and when staying at the Signature Sandman. We were there for our anniversary and had the Valentine feature. Both the prime rib and steak were good. Our server was good, however someone else would bring out the food and they tried to give ours to the wrong table. The people at the next table had just ordered and they have 2 different servers try to bring them food that was not theirs. They need to improve that problem.(note:This was not on Valentines it was 2 days before, the restaurant was not busy) Otherwise everything was great and they gave us an anniversary card as well.

I used to really like this place. Their steaks were really good and the ambiance was really romantic. However, this all changed. The waitress was talking super loudly that all the tables around could hear her. Our waiter did not provide professional service like before.

We ordered a well done steak and it came burned. Requested they do a new one that was not all burned. First, the waiter gave us attitude and said that's how a well-done steak is supposed to be, burned on the outside.... He acted like this was the first time we had steak. The manager came by and apologized and said they were redoing it and if we wanted dessert, that it would be on the house. This was appreciated but the because of this, my wife and I did not get to eat together. Either she watches me eat first, or I wait until her new steak returns which would make my steak cold. This ruined our dinner. When her steak finally came after about 15mins, it was dry on the inside.

When we finished our dinner, the manager came to clear our table but did not offer the dessert menu, I patiently waited to see if he would proactively bring it. I had to ask for it in the end. We ordered a creme brulee, which was actually above average.

During the bill, the waiter made a comment about how the kitchen recooked the steak in a different method and that we should ASK for that specific method next time if we didn't want any burned steaks, however he added that he didn't know what method it was. Ok...very useful information. Thank you again.

In conclusion, I would not recommend this restaurant. For this price, you can get much better service and food elsewhere. I was about to make a group booking at this place for a family gathering, but after this experience, I would rather not risk it.

Went for Sunday breakfast since it showed up on Opentable - but was actually just the lounge that was open. Basic food, bacon & eggs was good. The coffee was terrible.

We had a lovely time. I asked for a quiet table and we got it. The service was lovely and the food wonderful--ate too much, but didn't care cuz it was so good. Steak tender and done perfectly to what I ordered.

The service wasn't that good; perhaps that evening was quite busy. The appritizer and dessert were really nice, but the entree was so so (prime rib).

Must be dine out season - restaurant too busy that no one sat us down in spite of reservation. We were asked to find ourselves a spot at the bar.

Steak sandwich was great but came with the wrong sides. The salad entree was so so.

Think twice if you'd like to visit during busy times!

The food was absolutely perfect! Chop has been my favourite restaurant for many years now and it still always exceeds my expectations. We've already planned to come back for the crab cakes and the apple crumble!

Prime Rib is only good choice others will not satisfy value. This was a Dine out meal so $40 3 course meal. Appy Main Dessert. Sides are extra

This is a great spot for special occasions. The food was excellent, but it was our waiter, TJ, that made our dining experience great. He was very attentive and friendly.

Service was extremely slow, had to ask for everything from bread on the table, new drinks, bills and food delivery not at the same time. There was gum stuck to one plate too. I would not recommend eating here unless you have several hours to kill. Reservation was at 530, we didn't get our food order taken until 630, and we begged for our bills long after the food had been eaten (plates not cleared yet) at 930. Finally leaving just after 10 for a group of 15. We could have been out of there at 8pm had service been prompt. We had 2 servers for 15 people, the servers didn't care and were abrupt and rude when we kept asking for service. food overpriced for what it is - go splurge on organic meat and save yourself some money for better quality food.

Excellent steak restaurant, my steak was made exactly how I wanted it (Chicago style - Medium rare) which not a lot of other steak restaurants were able to do for me. The booth that I sat at was very comfortable, the service was amazing as well as the food, which made the overall experience spectacular!

Prime rib was very tender and tasteful. Excellent cut of beef not to fatty. Baked potatoe was perfect with crispy bacon on top.
Experience was enjoyable booked the next night to come back for seconds.

Food is very tasty & nicely presented at this stylish restaurant. This place is a carnicore’s dream, but additionally there are nice fish (& chicken) options.

I love that we can have a conversation & not strain to hear each other. Service is friendly & unpretentious. It’s become our go-to when one of us is craving a steak.

I got there early so I don’t mind if I have to wait. The service was excellent but the food needs improvement since when I did ordered the crab cake the appearance looks a bit burnt but it tasted good. My only concerned was the New York Sirloin too much fat on it. If the cook can trim it out then it won’t be that bad. At the end the tiramisu was light which was good but lacking so much flavour. The experience was really good but the prices are fair.
