Ok food, but over priced.
I like a good steak and willing to pay for it….but I don’t recommend this place. Goto the Keg, enjoy a meal twice as good for 30% cheaper.

So the last time I was at Chop, I found my steak to be chewy. I got the email from OpenTable asking me about my experience. I said I had a great time, the atmosphere is nice, and my only complaint was that my steak was chewy. I got a response back telling me the next time I come to Chop I should ask for the manager so he can ensure my meal is great.
So my husband and I came to Chop for dinner. I had the steak and my husband had prime rib. I spoke with the waitress about my last experience and showed her the email. She was amazing!! She was very understanding, took me seriously and said that she will talk with the manager.
Both our dinners were amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The manager came out after talk to me and make sure that everything was OK. He was sorry about my last meal and wanted to make it up by taking care of my dinner. I was not expecting that at all!!! We were extremely thrilled with everything!!!!

Kitchen didn’t mark my rare steak so someone else in our party began to enjoy it. Restaurant was too busy to re-order in a timely fashion. Otherwise, a good night.

Food was average veggies uncooked and unfortunately the service not the best, nice waiter but just had way too many tables assigned to him to provide adequate service for the $$$$ it should of been a better experience

My drink (grapefruit sode) and prime rib were very subpar compared to the other chains of Chop that I have frequented. The food was lukewarm and not well presented. Quite disappointed with the quality of the dish. Appetizer of veggie tempera was very good. The other dishes were not so much.

The food and service in terms of being served timely was excellent and food delicious. I had the fillet mignon cooked to my liking and the baked potato. But the portion of green beans and squash that cane with the dish was pretty skimpy for the price of the dish. There should have been twice as much. Ambiance was excellent especially the variety of lighting fixtures.

Overall a nice place to go. Last night was my second time and we sat in bar area both times. Nice atmosphere, had apps and drinks both times. Food is decent, overall good service. I would recommend Chop to my friends and family.

We had ordered takeout during the pandemic lockdown twice and the food was excellent when we picked it up. Our experience at the Chop was less than expected.
It was my wife's birthday and we ordered the prime rib expecting to be of the same size as we had ordered with takeout but were disappointed in the size of the portion, small. She had to wait over 20 minutes for dessert. That being said, our waitress was very personable and congenial and did a good job.

Food was excellent. Notice after drinking half my cup of water there was stuck on food remnants all inside my glass. Glass was not clean. Showed server and she brought me a new glass of water. Wasn’t happy with that.

Got sat then waited a long time for server then fir drinks. Out of house red, offered s sub, but was charged the non sub price. Charged for bread. Just a lot of waiting for an ok dinner. Nit worth the $200 we paid. Too much waiting for a not busy place. Also asked for a table got put on bar side. Why ask on the ap if nit going to give it

Service and waitress was superb.
Price was on the higher side for casual dining. I expect a more intimate quieter ambiance for those prices.
Red wine selection, although an immense list was very limited and or out of stock (by the glass). I would recommend but be very descriptive between casual and fine dining.

Steaks were phenomenal. Wife’s food was cooked very poorly plus she couldn’t have one of the appetizers because there were no carrots in the restaurant. Supervisor’s visit was not very courteous.

I ordered the Steak Oscar , my husband ordered the filet. Also I ordered a glass of wine 9 oz, $20.00. Food arrived at the table Luke warm. We asked to have it warmed, with not a nice reception from the waitress, and no apology. Second plates came out warm. This should not happen in a higher end steak house.

Ambiance was excellent. Modern, clean and noise levels low. Food was really good as was the service. This was a special occasion so we didn’t mind the prices but they are at the higher end for upscale casual. The prime rib was our favourite.

It was our first time at a restaurant since the start of COVID and the staff were helpful getting us through the various safety protocols and contact tracing steps when we arrived.
We were a party of 4 and by the end of our stay we all agreed that our waitress, LoreDonna, was absolutely outstanding!! She was very attentive to all things happening at the table, including to the drinks - that was very appreciated. She was consistently very friendly and always displayed exemplary professionalism. I feel she possesses the qualities that help make ones stay at a restaurant unforgettable.
The food was just delicious with great attention to detail. Everything we ordered had good portion sizes and I feel came out to the table in a timely manner. I highly recommend Chop and look forward to our next visit!

It was our ten year wedding anniversary and the restaurant went the extra mile with a complementary dessert and greeting card. Two thumbs up. Unfortunately in comparison to the Chop in Winnipeg this restaurant needs some minor tutoring in service and food. The ribeye wasn’t the greatest cut only slightly better then the grocery store. The fillet minion was not cooked medium well as asked but close enough not to send back. The waitress only came to the table with the order. Not to check if things are ok or additional drink orders.
