Celebrated my birthday here with family. They put us into one of the side rooms with a sliding door. We felt like we were sitting in the comfort of our kitchen table but with service.

Waitress ignored several things, we had to ask for refills of wine, water and beer. One of the orders was incorrect, which she had recommended. Salmon was severely undercooked when ordered well done, sent back and still came came back undercooked. One of our prime ribs ordered medium was very rare. Manager was very apologetic about the salmon and credited our bill.

Michele and I ate here in December for my birthday and she was excited to do it for her birthday. All was good then I noticed a customer had a problem with his order(surf and turf),I said to Michele that he must of been told he could snack on the plate while he waited for another. He then ate steak in 3 bites and lobster the same way, then his other plate came out.
After another 5 or so minutes our plates came out, Micheles' lobster was done to perfection my lobster was not cooked and our steaks were burnt beyond well done. The lobster was cold as I took it off the shell. It really seemed that the other customer got my lobster tail and I got one that wasn't cooked. I didn't want to spoil Micheles birthday so I didn't say anything.
I would have to say the service was not near as as good as Emily was prior visit.
It seemed that the waiter avoided us knowing that my lobster was not cooked, it was hard to get a refill on our pops.
Afterward we saw Emily and she said we were suppose to be in her area but someone didn't know, not that it would've made any difference in the food but next time we will have to ask for her section.
We were married the following day and for a wedding present we were given a gift card for your place because we had praised your place after the first visit, I'm sure hoping our next experience will be better.

Our dining experience was good, the steaks were outstanding! However, the choice of accompanying vegetables were not great, broccoli, beets tomatoes were unappetizing and as I don't eat starches left me with little to enjoy. Staff are outstanding, however!

the place was great, my only complaint is it's location. Tucked into a small corner of hotel complexes so parking sucks and its on the hwy 2 and Anthony Henday exchange which provides no access to the Ellerslie road it's located on so you have to go way out of the way down the road and back track on Ellerslie and fight through the traffic to FINALLY arrive at the restaurant.

I was extremely disappointed with our Valentine's Day experience. When I have a reservation, I do not want to wait at the door for a half hour after our reservation time to be seated (our total wait time was about 45 minutes). This restaurant has been around long enough to know not to overbook on a special occasion. I have been there several times so know the quality of the food which is why we booked there for Valentine's Day. Last night, the food was a big miss. My steak was horribly sinewy (so very tough) and extremely small for the price. My husband's seafood chowder had so little seafood in it I don't know how they could pass it off as a seafood chowder. At least the cheesecake was good (except for the lumps - no one likes lumps of cream cheese in their cheesecake; it's somewhat off-putting). While I was eating my steak, I wished we had gone to the Keg; I hate to say it. I won't be going back to Chop anytime soon. Big miss, Chop, big miss :(

Service was very good, found food specials just ok, was not happy we were stuck in the bar as it was very loud and we could barely hear each other, and we booked reservation weeks ago! Definitely not worth the price I paid. Place was way too busy

This location consistently has the best service and food selection. Even though it was Valentines Day, you never felt rushed. Probably their most busiest day of the year, but service was great and food was prepared as ordered. If you haven't tried this location, it is worth the drive to the south side. The Keg has just opened a new restaurant in our neighborhood but we still will drive to the Chop for the food and excellent service.

We went to Chop for a special occasion. I did not like where we sat as we were by the kitchen. My steak was over cooked. I was so looking forward to the dinner but was disappointed. The lightning sucked. I didn't find the atmosphere romantic

I give a 5 star to the quality of the food. It was amazing! The server was nice but took an awefully long time to grab the dessert menu and our bill, but overall, it was good.

First time we ate here and decided to try it for a change. Husband and I were out on a date. We both ordered the prime rib dinner later in the evening, around 8:30pm. I had the iceberg wedge salad, which was basically a huge slice of iceberg lettuce that was super bitter and had a little bit of blue cheese dressing on it with bacon bits on the side. Was not tasty at all. Yuck. My husband ordered the Caesar salad, which was good. THEN, the prime rib...we ordered it medium rare and when it came, most of the meat was pretty red, so being too well done was NOT the problem. The meat was so tough and full of gristle, that my husband couldn’t even cut through it and I couldn’t even chew mine. Told the waiter who told the kitchen and agreed it was a bad cut of meat. (I can’t believe they could even cut it?) Although they offered up something else to replace it, I was pretty turned off. We left without eating dinner there. I am NOT the kind of person to offer up or waste my time with writing reviews. I am writing this because it is genuinely one of the worst meal experiences I’ve ever had...AND I really do love to eat out and enjoy a great meal. (Eg., Sabor, Range Rd) We were offered a free steak dinner, which if I’m desperate, might give them another try but definitely not in the near future.

To be perfectly honest, I wasn't that impressed by the food. There were no problems with the food but for the price we paid, I expected it to be better. I could have spent the same amount of money and had a better meal at The Keg.

The waitress was friendly and helpful so no problems with service.

Our party of 5 was seated in a private room. I was very pleased. The servers were excellent. We enjoyed the cheese toast, the yorkies, and the lobster dip appetizers. I enjoyed my prime rib immensely. Two in our party chose steak with asparagus and prawns done with a Bernaise sauce. They would have enjoyed it more without the sauce, but personal preference. Overall very good. We had a nice time.

Service was great! Our waitress was very prompt and made sure we had everything we needed! Water right away, my glass never went empty, nothing worse than running out of water. Food was great , my steak was actually medium rare. I find a lot of restaurants over cook thier steaks.
Great restaurant hopefully be back soon.

Everything was amazing; food, service, atmosphere. I am so impressed with the service and food, they were very sensitive to my food allergy (tree nuts) and I had a large selection that I could choose from (pretty much everything) even desserts! Thank you so much for a great evening!

Great steak and prime rib-house with excellent service. Similar prices to the Keg with food better and wider menu options. The only complaint is that is was really, really dark--some candles on the table would be nice to counteract this.
