Food was outstanding. Along with the service. Our server Dakota was on the spot. Highly recommend.
We went for dinner week in Palm Springs. I had a friend come into town and took her and my neighbor there, after seeing the menu on way to car from night before at LG'S, which was not good at all. The menu selection was just amazing, the steak was so tender, you could cut it with a butter knife. Even the cream Brule was just perfectly made.
Wonderful food and service, consistent as always at Chop House PS. All four of us had an excellent dining experience during restaurant week my starter was the wedge salad, then filet (cooked to perfection, we had specified Med Rare, Medium etc to the chef and all four steaks were served to perfection).
The ambiance was marked "4" due to the fact when we got seated, there were plenty of diners but not a sound was heard, music was off and it was like going into a library to eat. I asked the server, response was music player issues.
Very sad they are closing down. Have enjoyed our visits there over the years. Great food. Outstanding service.
Our server was helpful and attentive all night. I ordered the scallops which were cooked to perfection. My cousin ordered the filet mignon but she wasn't too thrilled. Overall we enjoyed our evening at Chop House.
We've eaten here several times. We dined during restaurant week. Waited way too long for service for drinks. Finally someone asked if we'd been helped and when we said no, they said "well, if I can't find your waiter, I'll be happy to be your server". Food was generally good, but the wedge salad was disappointing - lettuce too yellow and the dressing was very tart. The $38 cost is a bit much for us with drinks added so we only do this once in awhile. We probably won't be going back anytime soon.
Horrible service and very unprofessional waiter!! Came here to enjoy our anniversary. Ordered the pork chop and it came out tough as jerky. When I asked to send it back the waiter was rude and ordered me to get the prime rib. After my wife was done eating I still did not get my dinner. I decided I did not want the dinner. The waiter was hostile and to make things even worse the manager didn't even come to our table to apologize. I couldn't believe it!!! That's probuly why the other closed down. Indo not recommend and will never have a meal or recommend to anyone!!!
The restaurant did not disappoint. Excellent food and excellent service. What more could you want in the heart of downtown Palm Springs!
The food tasted great. I gave a 4 because the steak was over cooked. Kind of unfair you think but 2 grades off, asked for medium rare (wanting medium but figured they would be off) got well. Flavor was excellent. Everything else was excellent hence the 5 star overall.
Excellent food, one of the best in Palm Springs. We all had rib eye steak, it was amazing. The escargot and large shrimp cocktail were to die for. They make a mean Moscow Mule!!
