Chop Chandler Ratings and Reviews
This is one of our favorite spots. However, they don't do a good job with reservations. We've made reservations twice and they always seem to be at least 30 minutes behind, even when we get there pretty early. Advice, don't seat walk-ins until your people with reservations have been seated before or at their reservation time.
When my husband and I got there, we were seated immediately, however it was at a very wobbly table. The hostess did apologize for this, and quickly goddess to a comfortable booth. For an appetizer, we ordered the chicken satay a on skewers. The chicken was extremely dry, making it unpalatable. As soon as we brought this to the waiter's attention, it was immediately corrected and we got a new order of the appetizer . This time the chicken came out very moist and was perfectly cooked. For the main dish I ordered the Marinated rib eye with garlic mashed potato and grilled asparagus as a side. For the ribeye, I asked for it to be medium-rare, The steak came back in consistent on cooking doneness: 1/2 of it was a medium doneness making it a bit chewy; and the other half was spot on. The garlic mash potatoes were creamy, but tasted as if salt was omitted. The grilled asparagus was excellent and flavorful. Over all, I think I will give this restaurant a reating of a 7 out of 10.
We have dinned at Chop (Chandler) numerous times but this past week was disappointing. Drinks were slow in coming and service was definitely not up to Chop’s standards as on previous dinning dates. Two people in our party were served cold baked potatoes and one didn’t arrive until the rest were finished eating! They ran out of Miller Lite beer and 3 tickets were wrong and had to be sent back. We hope this was a one time problem as the food is outstanding and a great “Go-To” restaurant.
Do not say you make Brandy Old Fashions
Wisconsin style when you don’t have a clue
Poor bartender. Then charge 12.00 for one
Which filled glass half full with largest piece
Of chunk ice so two sips and overwith

Drinks and service.
Table was not ready on arrival. That in itself is understandable, but after taking a seat at a high top in the bar for a drink and to wait, we were asked to move to vacate the table for another table. With still no update on our table. Appetizer delicious (ahi tuna) but salmon main was over cooked in spite of ordering a pink center.
I’ve been to Chop at least six times. I always order the same thing - filet mignon, medium rare. It’s AMAZING! Tonight as a party of four we enjoyed outstanding service, a shared appetizer, drinks, delicious bread & a perfectly orchestrated dining experience. We felt neither rushed or left waiting for ANYTHING! Unfortunately my husband’s colossal-sized prime rib was just that. Colossal- sized. He didn’t want to say anything about the fact that he couldn’t cut through most of it. When asked if he wanted a “go box” he said no. That’s when he told us it was terrible. His fault for not speaking up. He was offered a replacement meal & declined. Chop made it right and removed the charge. I was impressed. We’re not typically difficult to please and I’ll be back. For a filet mignon, medium rare.
I have dine there several times and in the past I have been pleased. However very disappointed this time. Service was average at best. The piece of fish I got was half of what I would of expected and over cooked. The portion of Caesar Salic was small. We had to ask several times for water and bread. Overall disappointed in food and service.
A joint with an identity crises; sports bar or white table cloth steakhouse? And frankly it does neither particularly well. Staff was, on the surface pleasant enough but came across as not genuinely friendly and as such did not make my family and I feel welcome. We made a reservation but they had no table for us and offered us a table with hard bench seating near the front door . Food was decent. Will NEVER go back.
My boyfriend and I went to Chop for the first time to determine if it's a restaurant that we want to include in our list of favorites. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. My boyfriend ordered a specialty burger and requested medium rare. It was prepared medium well. The waitress didn't return to check on our meals and my boyfriend was hungry so he ate the meal. When the waitress did return to our table, I complained about his meal not being prepared as requested. She only responded that she would let the chef know. No apology, nothing.
