Three of my friends and I make an annual trip to Hershey for the Spa. Since my birthday is this month, it was my turn to pick where we were eating. I was looking at the different choices and saw the Chocolate Avenue Grill. The menu had a variety of salads, as well as wraps(my favorite). The atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable and the food was awesome. My friends could not stopping talking about how much they enjoyed the food. We will definitely put that on the list for one of the best places to go in Hershey.
The food was bland, the seafood rolls tasted like frozen rolls from the local market. The flavors of my salad did not marry well with the Chipotle Ranch Dressing. The food was average and left a lot to be desired.
Every time I go to Hershey, I come here for dinner. Delicious food, great service!
We had dinner there before a concert at Hersheypark Stadium. We had an early dinner reservation there and got there 30 minutes late because of traffic. They were very accommodating and we were seated right away when we arrived.
The food was great! We sat out on the patio. Service was a little slow. Our server seemed to disappear a lot. My husband had asked for more ketchup and he never did receive it. It took awhile to get our water glasses refilled. And it took forever to get our bill to us. It was all before 6 pm.
I’d definitely go back again when we weren’t rushed to get to a concert.
Great food, great wait staff, minimum wait time.
We ate outside which was nice, but a little noisier than inside since right next to main street.
Excellent spanakopita appetizer! Southwest chicken wrap and the smokehouse burger were both delicious. Server was nice. I requested outdoor seating and the hostess didn’t give it to us, but overall the restaurant was excellent.
What a great Mother’s Day treat...We got to celebrate with our son and his girlfriend...
I had your Scallops with white Chocolate Sauce...it was amazing..
The Sangria added to a great meal
Impeccable service with a varied and creative menu. Portions were impressive and the quality of the meals was , too. Our party was seated immediately and served promptly.
Service was horrible. I had a burger, overpriced, bacon was hard as a rock, burger was so dry, had pasta salad, they gave you maybe 10 noodles. Maybe their other food is ok, but I wont be eating there when I return to Hershey. The only thing I ate was the little pasta that they gave you.
Great service! Great food! Awesome desserts! A great place to celebrate a special occasion or just for a lunch or dinner out.
We stopped into The Chocolate Avenue Grill to grab a quick bite to eat after spending our day at Hershey Park. Our server, Jennifer provided us with friendly, quick service and the food was excellent!
Food was delicious. Took our 98 year old Aunt to dinner and it was easy for her to get in and out. Will definitely go there again
Food was delicious, and the service matched. It’s a little deceiving as the outside gives the impression of a more upscale restaurant as does the menu. When you’re inside, though, it’s more like a diner atmosphere disguised. No complaints just not what I expected. Great meal!
Food was very good quality and nicely served. Server was very attentive. Overall, a very good dining experience.
Wonderful restaurant near the Hershey attractions. So glad to find a local restaurant and not have to do chain dining on a weekend trip to Hershey. Loved everything we ate. Great service and big portions too. Very good kids menu also!
Great experience as always. Our server was a little withdrawn but everything else was great. Definitely one of our top 5 for Hershey.
My high school friends and I were there this week. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Food and drinks were fantastic. Brad was an awesome waiter and answered all of our questions about different drinks. We'll be back!
Was visiting PA, while my husband was stationed there. We wanted to try somewhere local that we couldn’t find else where! This place was perfect! Great food, had a perfect view of the Hershey, PA ambience and great prices! It was just what we were looking for!
Very good meal but the service was not the usual good service we have received there in the past. Waitress kept forgetting things and even served the food without an ingredient we asked for. She said oops, I forgot! She made several mistakes with our order which again is not the usual for this restaurant. Also, a booth was requested & not given.
The food and service were very good. My only issue was that the tables on either side of ours were close and made it uncomfortable.
My wife and I took our son, his wife and two grandchildren here before going to the Giant Center for Disney on Ice. The food was excellent, the service was good and it was a family friendly place. Definitely will be going back next time we go to Hershey.
Food and service were outstanding. Looking forward to further exploring the menu in future visits
What a lovely restaurant, with a great and varied menu!
Friendly and knowledgeable service and a nice menu. Our waitress Olivia was great. My reuben was excellent as was my wife's salad (sorry, can't remember its name, just that it was good). Beer/wine selection was good and prices were reasonable. We'll be back when we visit Hershey again.
Food and service all very good. Will return. Outdoor seating a plus in warmer months.
My friend and I stopped for lunch before an afternoon show at the Hershey Theater. The salads and soups we had were delicious! And our waitress was very friendly and attentive. It's always a pleasant experience when we dine at Chocolate Ave. Grill. :-)
I love their salads! They have a great variety of fresh delicious ones to chose from. Atmosphere is inviting and service always excellent.
Great dinner and fabulous service! Our first time dining and we’ll be back!
Long weekend exploring Hershey from Pittsburgh, this gem was recommended ... atmosphere is that of a repurposed Denny’s or Bob’s Big Boy, but the food bears no parallel at all to such chain basic fare. My osso buco was among the best I’ve ever had, complemented with a red wine mushroom demiglace & plated with a healthy portion of riced garlic potatoes & what seemed like a quarter crown of broccoli. My wife’s coconut fried chicken salad with the House poppy seed dressing was also superb. The peanut butter chocolate cheese cake (shared) was a great denouement to a fine meal. All that and two “call” spirit cocktails for $65 before tip. Exceptional food, great service at an exceptional value.
The food the service and atmosphere are Superbe. Kelsey Was a very attentive and efficient server. Our meals were nicely presented and very tasty with ample food portions. We have eaten 3 times at this location and each time our expectations have been exceeded. The Chocolate Grill is really sweet...
Beef entre was not well done per instructions to waiter. Had to be sent back to kitchen for redo. 50's rock music was too loud and not suitable for dining experience.
Very good food for the first time eating there. The staff were very help full with our larger party.
Chocolate Ave Grill never fails to disappoint! I love going there with my boyfriend for a romantic evening or quick bite. The food is reasonably priced but always so tasty, and I never leave hungry.
We visited before attending a show at Hershey Theatre. Lots of other people had the same idea, so they were very busy. The waitress told us it was Greek night, so we decided to have that special. We each got a generous Greek salad, scallops over risotto with fresh tomatoes, feta and spinach, and baklava for dessert. A bargain at $29. Our waitress Kelly was very attentive. When I complained about cold decaf coffee she made a fresh pot and took it off our bill.
Love this restaurant! Salads are great! My husband had the portobello burger which was sensational. Service was very good, food came quickly but we did not feel rushed in any way. Walking distance to Hershey Theater and Chocolate Museum. Highly recommend!
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, yum, best in Hershey.
I always enjoy your restaurant! I really enjoyed the black and blue burger this last visit, the best in town!!
Seated very quickly, we were not asked a preference of table or booth even though we had a reservation and there was virtually no one in the restaurant yet. The waitress was attentive but not friendly. She did not sell up appetizers or ask if I wanted more wine. I would have ordered both. She was very curt and short. She did her job well but wasn't overly nice.
Kickin Crab Corn Chowder was awesome
My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day. The food was good but we were sat so close to other tables that I felt like we were on top of each other.
