I booked this place as a date night for my wife and I. When we arrived, she noticed that there was a table with people wearing tank tops and shorts while eating dinner. This was not the type of place that I was expecting to take my wife to for a nice dinner where we were dressed up. The food was great which at least made up for it. There were only a few other people in the place on a Saturday night while we were eating. The service was good, as the waitress was also the hostess. My wife ordered a mojito and she said it was very good. I ordered the margarita and it wasn't amazing as I was hoping for. If you are looking for a relaxing place to eat, this may be good for you. If you are looking for a place to get dressed up for a date night, this may not be for you.
Limited drinks availability was the start. We had a really nice waitress who tried to make the best of things. I ordered the most expensive steak, when it came it was tough, grissly and had tubes running through it. They said they would make me another, it was just the same, it was hard to cut with a steak knife ! My wife's fish was like fast food. $100+ wasted.
The dinner at Chloes was wonderful. Although later in the evening, the kitchen made two amazing entree's. The only downside was that Open Table allowed a 9:00pm reservation and it was made very clear to us by the person seating us (one of the wait staff, but not our waiter) that we needed to "hurry up and order as the kitchen was getting ready to shut down". I responded that ok, but we were given the option of a 9:00pm reservation, and if that was not correct that the 9:00pm seating should be not an option. Our Waitress did not rush us at all, which was greatly appreciated. I would have given a 5 out of 5 stars with the exception of not being made feel overly welcomed when we arrived.
Great food and atmosphere
Two couples dined for Mothers Day Buffet Brunch. Good value for the price.
Family Mother’s Day brunch. Very good experience would highly recommend as one of the better (more realistically priced) options.
The view of the sunset here is always great. The seafood selections are very well prepared. A great value.
Nice outdoor dining area that was quiet and had a great view of the each & water. Service was excellent, Kasey really did a good job, but food was only so-so. For the prices being charged, just expected much better quality.
We went for the live music. Service was great. Had a nice Mahi-Mahi. Not the best food ever, but nice and we enjoyed ourselves.
I enjoyed the restaurant. The Margaritas were very good and the bread with jelly before your meal was outstanding. The portions are very large, which was great for me but my wife needed to take a to-go plate. The view of the ocean was nice and it is very family friendly outside. The prices were very reasonable.
All my family was in town and we went to Chloës for the sunset food and ambiance. We all had a wonderful time. We will surely come back.
The restaurant had a great view, great food and terrific service service.
Service was very slow only 4 tables in main dining room. Food took over 40 minutes, steaks were over cooked.
3rd time eating there, will not go back again
Need a sign outside. Had to call to make sure I was at the right spot so
Very nice venue- not your typical FMB bistro/ bar. Staff was busy keeping up with crowd but not overly stressed. Food was really good. Small Caesar but the bread stood out. Warm semi- sweet with dipping sauce. Lot of market priced items so had to ask. Macadamia grouper and stuffed flounder were very large potions served nice and hot with baked potato and side veggies. Wine list and pours very fair. Look for coupon in local ads and save $20.00 - not bad. Waitress very nice. Good lounge/ live music right across. Well worth the visit.
This was a very sub par restaurant. Service was nonexistent and food was fast food quality. Very disappointed and not sure how they got the star ratings in the past.
Booked a reservation for Valentine's Day for my wife and I. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation, and the restaurant was already ready for us. We were seated immediately and really enjoyed the meal and experience. There was a live pianist that provided a great atmosphere for dining. The menu wasn't huge, but the food was excellent. Their wine list was sufficient, and the dinner menu included a variety of options. We did a 4 course meal with soup/salad, appetizer, entrees and dessert. From top to bottom, the food was great. We will be back.
Valentine’s Day menu had too few menu options. In particular needed more of the daily fish dishes.
We made reservations through Open Table for New Years Eve assuming that we had reserved a descent restaurant for that night. We were disappointed with the ambience and the food that looked and tasted like they were frozen dinners.
Getting our drinks took forever, but they did apologized and deducted them off the bill.
The waitress and staff were very nice, just understaffed. They have an outside area but due to weather wasn’t opened.
Would only recommend if you were going to eat on the beach. Clean and good service. Expensive for a limited menu.
The food was very dry, the service was very slow and the price of the food wasn’t worth it because the mahi-mahi was very dry. We were given a refund but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
We really enjoyed our NY Eve meal. The food was well prepared and the service was outstanding.
Just average. Nothing special in the ambiance or the food.
My flounder with seafood stuffing was too salty for me but most annoying were little fruit flies...about 5 that kept buzzing around and landing on our food. My husband wouldn't let me say anything that night. It was Christmas Eve.. we were inside, no where near a door or open window. Lost my appetite. My husband wanted his prime rib medium, it was rare. I loved the pineapple coconut bread. Would have eaten more but the fruit flies kept landing on it.. I'm sorry we did not have a favorable experience. It was more money than we would usually spend for a night out, but it was Christmas Eve. .we went 3 years ago and had no complaints.
Chloe’s has always been one our favorite restaurants at the beach but this time our food was still great but our service was horrible! There where 5 tables having dinner, on a prime rib special night, our appetizers took at least a half hour to come out, dinner about 45 minuets later, I guess that way you don’t order another for $29.95. Our waitress was very inexperienced but nice, she could only accomplish one task at at a time!
My wife and I still managed to have a good time!
We were celebrating a birthday. The restaurant was clean and quiet. The food was very good. My steak was cooked exactly as I requested. The price was good. The service was the best.
Great for quiet conversation and special events.
Rooftop courtyard was unexpected and wasn’t the greatest atmosphere but it was night so may be worth trying again when it is daytime to enjoy the view.
Kassie is a good server and attended to our needs. Salad was fresh and raspberry vinaigrette dressing was very tasty. Bread was special. Surf n turf and New York strip exceeded our expectations. Overall a pleasant experience.
Service was warm and friendly, food presentation and taste very nice. Bread sensational with a sweet coconut flavoring. Salads extra in cost and fairly small. they automatically put gratuity on bill which for a party of 2, I feel is totally unnessary. The name of resteaurant not featured on hotel sign, I had an entertainment coupon is the only way I found this place!
Everyone on staff was very friendly and accommodating, but the menu was very over-priced and the food was not great...it reminded me of warmed over country club meals. The view if the beach is nice, as long as you don't look down into the dumpster below the restaurant....very disappointing, especially for the price!
Service was good. They were very accomodating. Menu was good. Nothing sophisticated but a good safe dining experience.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating as was the restaurant staff. Service, however, friendly, was very very slow. We certainly were not in a hurry and like to dine slowly but when you requested something, it took a very very long time to receive it.We ordered wine with our dinner and by the time it came, we had eaten our meals. I and another guest had the prime rib which was very good, the other two in our party had the snapper, which for a restaurant on the beach, was terribly disappointing. It was very fishy and obviously a frozen (or old), pre-breaded piece of fish. With their dinner choices, you are offered either potato (whatever one kind of potato they offer for the evening, not a choice of potato) or rice. You are also served a vegetable with the dinner and a choice of soup or salad (garden or caesar). Portions were fine and pricing was expected for Fort Myers Beach. The dining room could use a little TLC to warm it up and make it more inviting but it was clean and the view was pretty. Sorry, but I would not go back to this restaurant again. We ate there simply because we were staying in the hotel and it was convenient. We are local and live in Fort Myers and I think that is why this was so disappointing. We love coming to Fort Myers Beach for the restaurants, even the small ratty restaurants serve excellent food, not sure why this restaurant can't. Suggestions would be offer a variety of potato choices, serve fresh fish or none at all, and have more staff so service does not suffer. We will recommend the hotel as our room was lovely and clean, but not the restaurant.
The steak was awesome. The pad thai was not. The desserts were average. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
We stopped in at Thebes's last minute and we were happy with the view, food, and service. We sat outside on the terrace and enjoyed the view of the gulf.
Great service, beautiful view, and we really enjoyed our dinner. Tracy (our waitress) made the dinner very nice and relaxing. Thank you for a lovely evening!
For the money that we spent for three people, I at least expect to have fresh food. All the food was frozen or pre made and from cans. When you are spent 150.00 for three people, I would like to have fresh food. I would not go back or even recommend this place to anyone. We are also suppose to have our Christmas party there and I'll make sure to let my company know about what they serve.
No sign saying chlore's. Very hidden. Service excellent. Food ok. Pricey
Beautiful setting on the water. Innovative cuisine and lovely service.
If your looking for an ocean view expedience, definitely not the place. We sat on the terrace overlooking the pool. Food quantity we poor, the service was extremely slow and it was a Sunday. Would no go back, definitely not fine dining by no means.
Our server was excellent. Apetizers were delicious. We really enjoyed it. Beach front bar was very enjoyable.
