Was fun to try the "salt air" margaritas (regular and pomegranate).
Tuna Ceviche appetizer was excellent. For entrees, I ordered the "tasting menu" and my wife ordered a couple tacos.
The tasting menu was a good choice, providing a sample of popular items. Some portions were generous (chips & salsa, wok-roasted vegetable, and "20 vegetable fried rice") while the shrimp/pork dumpling was just one small piece served in traditional basket with a side of black vinegar. Two Siu Mai pieces would have been perfect, but one was just odd.
Carnitas, Pollo, and Pescado tacos were good, with chicken being our favorite.
Atmosphere is casual and loud, which should be reconsidered for the Cosmopolitan. There are large picnic tables in center of room, bar seating, and booth seating along the walls with no separation between tables. Our waiter was super cool, but another waitress bussing our table repeatedly tried to take full plates of food away. Interesting place, but not likely to return, except for margaritas-to-go.
Ordered one fish taco, one dim sum bbq pork bun, one chips and salsa, and one ham and mushroom lo mein. Everything tasted amazing. Service was great. And we were seated early for our 1:00 reservation.
We really enjoyed most options on the tasting menu. The black garlic shrimp was the only disappointment. The flavor over powered the shrimp. The 20 vegetable fried rice is AMAZING! I would go back for lunch but not for dinner. Very casual.
Server was extremely slow. Food didn’t come out together. Fastest thing received was the check.
It’s basically two restaurants in one. Everything from the Chinese kitchen was incredible! The Mexican kitchen was just ok.
Went on a date here before Bill Burr show. The menu is different than pre-COVID. Food was solid all around. No issues with service. A tad loud but you can hold a conversation and prices reasonable. Would return for causal dinner with good food.
Service was great, definitely recommend the Mojo Shrimp.
Great and eclectic place. Highly recommend!
Took a little bit more time the food we order
Great food, fantastic server. We had an amazing experience!!
2nd time here , food was great , service sucked although our server was nice and polite she never came with our drinks , refills etc we always had to get a runner or someone else to do this for us
This place was amazing. Go here. My husband and I shared the Quesabirria, the Guacamole with corn tortillas, and the Golden Pigs dim sum. Amazing. All of it. Service was spot on.
Great place and great food!
The traditional siomai was great, hargaw was amazing. I didn’t really care for the flavor of the Dan Dan Miam but my husband liked it - although wouldn’t order it again. I loved the steamed bbq pork buns and enjoyed the mango sticky rice. I missed the sticky rice though. We also got a taste of the Churros and that was delicious. I had the carnitas and it was rich and delicious. Our server was incredibly friendly and attentive. We were seated between 2 2-seaters which I didn’t really care for. I thought the tables were too close together. All in all we enjoyed the food and the experience !
We tried the Restaurant week lunch menu and was very disappointed. Food quality was not bad but the portion size was tiny. We are regulars for trying out the Restaurant week menus from different restaurants in Dallas, Phoenix and in Las Vegas. We understand that at certain restaurants the portion size is slightly smaller with the restaurant week menu than from the regular menu but the portion size here was so small and it’s more like for a child portion. The churro dessert was a joke. The impression we have actually reflects badly on the restaurant. We would definitely NOT be coming back. There are plenty of better restaurants out here in Las Vegas. I am loading some pictures( have not eaten anything yet) and I didn’t take pictures of all the food.
Fun, unique meal
Amazing food and great value. The coconut ceviche was a truly unique dish. The vegetable fried rice was the best I have ever had. We are definitely coming back in the future
Visited June 5 2021 7:00 pm. We expected to be wowed by this restaurant and instead left totally disappointed. First, the service. A major part of the problem. The server was aloof, made infrequent visits, neglected to bring drink orders, never discussed the menu with us or what to expect from our dine in experience, only visited our table once after food was delivered which, by the way, was never delivered by the server herself. The server came to ask if we needed any further food or drink and we hadn't even been served one of the dishes for someone in our party. Her main focus seemed to be to turn over the table. We slashed her tip, not something I frequently like to do but justified in this case. The Food: The second major disappointment. We ordered A First Bite, Dim Sum, Tacos, and One larger plate. The food is delivered in no order so expect that situation. This seems to be their normal business model. The First Bite was Chilaquiles, a nacho dish. It was tasty but the chips were very soggy due to the broth in the bottom of the bowl. The cheese was tasty but saturated the dish. The issue with this dish was the texture. Dim Sum: When Pigs Fly. It needed more filling and lacked spice, seasoning and flavor. Overall is was ok. Tacos: the Pescado Taco (fish taco) had a nice crunch on the fish but lacked salt and seasoning. It was also dry and could have used another lime on the plate for moisture. Again, it was ok. The Carnitas Taco was the favorite main dish at the table. It too could use more seasoning and particularly spice but it was tasty. Chow Fun With Beef: Voted most disliked bite on the table. The meat was distasteful and of an unpleasant odor and texture. The other ingredients in the bowl lacked any flavor at all. One person stated that the Thai restaurant near their home had a much tastier stir fry bowl than presented at this restaurant. Dessert: The Churros were delicious and an overall favorite. None of us will return.
Our favorite spot in Vegas. Dim sum to die for! Always delicious and the Flaca margarita is by far my favorite! Highly recommend.
Tasty food ! Great service!
I ordered the tasting menu while my family ordered a la carte.
Everything was great. I had read about the carnitas tacos and they were as advertised.
The shumai were delicate. The sticky mango rice pudding (actually doesn't have rice) was pure artistry and delectable.
Celebrated my 30th birthday dinner here - food was excellent! Incredible flavors in each of the dishes we ordered. Highly recommend the tasting menu if available - portions are very good for the value and to get to try several popular dishes. Highly recommend!
You cannot skip this on your trip to Vegas. The food was astounding. We’ve told pretty much everyone about it. Our server was also incredible. I told him how much I love spicy food and he stopped by to drop off a few sauces he thought we would like. They were delicious. The food was unlike any other. You must go!
The menu provided a wide variety of app, main courses and drink selections. I sat at the bar and ordered the tuna cevice and the 20 vegetable fried rice and watched the corn tortillas being made. My waiter was very friendly and rounded out my experience. I would definitely eat here again.
Amazing experience, we loved the concept of a traditional Mexican cuisine and traditional Chinese cuisine we will be back for sure
Service went above and beyond and the food is delicious. One of the top restaurants on the Strip.
Great food, neat menu. A real fun place to grab some food.
We celebrated our anniversary and birthday of one of my friends. They surprised us with yummy desert!
We always make sure to visit when we are in town. You can’t beat the quality of the food! It’s so good!
Wonderful service and food!
Tasting menu was a good option to try a little of everything, but was not quite enough food. We had to supplement by ordering something in addition. The veggie fried rice was the best. The decor is super fun in the restaurant. The price was good, especially for Vegas!
The most outstanding meal. We are picky foodies and had an impeccable meal - from the perfect salt foam margarita to the amazing caldo to the best fried rice I’ve tried...simply BRAVO!!!
This is a restaurant I always visit whenever I'm in town. All of the food (and the "salt air" margaritas) are delicious. They didn't have soup dumplings on this visit (covid), but the tasting menu didn't disappoint and was an incredible value at $35. I'll never visit Vegas without visiting CP!
We absolutely enjoyed everything but the veggie fried rice was unforgettable
Great as always!
Great Fusion place. I like the tasting menu. Great price. The Asian food is better than the Mexican.
China Poblano by Jose Andres is always a must go to when staying at the Cosmopolitan Resort in Las Vegas. A great fusion of Asian and Mexican food. Love the tacos and guacamole. And amazing margaritas including the salt air margarita. They are famous for their 20 vegetable fried rice -so good!
Great place at a beautiful resort!
We went for dinner, food was average and overpriced for what you get. Service was slow. It is a better spot for lunch. The atmosphere is more like a cafeteria. The chips and salsa and the 20 vegetable fried rice were good.
