Another excellent Jose Andres restaurant with innovative Asian - Mexican fusion menu. The Tasting Menu with Cocktail Pairings was definitely worth it.

Came here for an anniversary dinner. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the food. There was a great selection, as well as reasonable pricing for it being inside the cosmopolitan. The drink my girlfriend ordered had a sort of spice on it, which made her sick, but we wouldn't hesitate to go back next ime. The food was simply delicious.

Outstanding service, ambiance and vegetarian food options. I had lunch and dinner here a year ago & lunch again this year. They have a separate vegetarian menu & can accommodate vegans and those who don't want eggs. The menus are clearly marked & the staff are well educated on this. They have fresh fruit based drinks (aqua frescas) that change daily - be sure to try them. They guacamole is made fresh right in front of you & was very good. The chips are cooked in the morning in vegetable oil before any meat items are cooked. The spring rolls are very good - not very oily & with a good variety of vegetables. The tacos are unique, soft wrapped, light & full of flavor. I enjoyed the hongos taco (on the menu last time I came), the taco nopales, & the refried bean taco - all were great & light - they come in orders of one. The chayote salad is a very unique item & was good - it is not your typical green leaf salad, so try it. Finally, the terra cotta chocolate & paloma deserts were very good. Bottom line - great vegetarian food with taste & creativity. The service was very very good. The atmosphere is nice. For a party of 2, I would get 2 tacos, the spring rolls, & the guacamole, adding on another taco or two if hungry, along with the aqua fresca. For one person, guac, a couple tacos, the chayote salad & desert is plenty.

We are fans of Jose Andres. We have visited 4 of his restaurants and we have eaten at China Poblano 3 previous times. I don’t know what happened this evening, but I don’t know if I will return. The food was bland and in need of some seasoning. The tacos of cochinita tasted as if the pork had simply been boiled. The guacamole needed salt and the beef dimsum , although edible left alot to be desired. Hope that they survive in the cut throat world of the restaurant scene in Las Vegas

Good food. I let one of the managers go “omasake” for me and she did not disappoint. Everything was amazing.

This is always a good meal and a good time. The 21 vegetable fried rice and the pork buns are my favorite. This place does live up to the reviews and hype!

The Chinese food was good. We enjoyed the dumplings and dan dan noodles. The Mexican food was not great. Tacos were bland and over priced. Fillings under salted and no salsas to bring acid or spice. Being at a hotel on the strip, the prices were very high but that part was expected.

The food was very good and interesting... definitely worth a trip to Cosmopolitan if you are in Vegas. The service was outstanding! However, some dishes we found were a touch over-seasoned - we have a very high tolerance for salt (not good!), but even we found some dishes at the edge of being too salty. Also, the prix fixe selections were good... but not quite worth the $45 price tag.

The food was terrible the portions were tiny and it was expensive ESPECIALLY The xiao long bao! That was the worst XLB I've ever had in my life! The XLB skin was mushy when I bit into it and there was hardly any juice. There were some creative fusions but flavors and textures just didn't come together as I expected like for example the duck tongue and lychee taco. The taco was soggy after a few minutes of sitting and the texture of the taco was off. The service was good though but nothing over the top. Ambience was good too but was not worth the $$$ I paid.

The food was great. But the temperature was absolutely horrible. The thermostat consistently reached 76-77 degrees which was right next to our table. We asked the waitress and the manager both to turn the AC on and they both said "we have no control". Knowing this I would avoid the restaurant unless you have very light clothes or are a cold person. I would avoid at all costs. Or get a carry out.

Tried the tasting menu and loved the way flavors built in spice level, then were tempered by the amazing fried rice before dessert. First time at China Poblano - won’t be our last.

I came to Vegas for my 40th birthday and this was the place I wanted to come to. I have always admired Jose Andres’s creative food and loved the idea of Chinese and Mexican all in one. Let me tell you this place hits it out of the park! From appetizers or guacamole and ceviche to tapas like albondigas, siu mai and unbelievable napales and carnitas tacos, everything was amazing! I could not recommend this place enough.

In a casino with some of the best restaurant in Vegas, we thought the moderately priced China Pablano was a gem. We tried a little of everything and we loved it all. We will definitely be back since this is one of the best deals in Vegas.
