Delicious food, and excellent service, but the tacos are way too expensive.
Failed to fuse. If you can decide between Chinese and Mexican good, then this is the place for you. But if you’re expecting Jose Andes to work some culinary magic as he combined Chinese and Mexican flavors into a fused sensation - not going to happen.
The Dim Sum was wonderful, but the Mexican dishes were average at best. Overall the entire concept of this restaurant was a let down.
The menu is short but good, food is delivered quickly and tastes great, the seating is spaced out six feet or so, the service is attentitive, the prices are low.
Good food great service with reasonable prices
Great food and drinks. Server was awesome.
Great food, wonderful services, interesting menu, adheres to social distancing
China Poblano is a must every time I’m in Vegas. The cocktails, food, and service never disappoint.
20 vegetable fried rice was amazing.
Perfect for small bites, food taste good, different options and friendly environment. Yes for go with friends
I had the Chef’s Tasting Menu and the chef was very accommodating with making a few food substitutions based on my food preferences. The service was good and I also enjoyed the Salt Air Margarita.
Outstanding and delicious food. Great time. Highly recommend the sampler meal for $35 per person.
Disappointed that menu was 1/3 normal size
Expected a lot more as we have been to a number of Jose Andres restaurants. Very good service, great staff, dishes presented well...just disappointed in food and pricing. We got the Chef’s Experience tasting menu because we wanted something lighter with cocktails @$45/person. We may have been spoiled by other Jose Andres tasting menus...which were phenomenal at other restaurants but this was rather bland and boring. Standard Chips and salsa for “first course”? Hmmmm. May be post Covid- related, but didn’t receive all “courses”, and even knowing it was a tasting menu...we were further surprised that the portions were seemingly mini. Dessert was also swapped for something else...a scoop of sorbet instead of mango sticky rice. Wanted to like it but....
Really good food - plenty of options, including a vegan tasting menu.
Food was good. But service was so slow. They brought the salad after the main dish
Excellent service and fun server. Food was unique and fantastic!
Love China! Food was great, drinks and service too, but when I forgot to take my receipt and asked for a duplicate the next day, they told me their system was down, and it is still down three days later! Ugh!!
I wished there was more of a fusion of Chinese and Mexican.
We started off with a couple of Flaca margaritas. They were some of best margaritas I’ve ever had. There was no overly bitter, or too sour of a taste. The alcohol didn’t overwhelm the drink either. Just perfection! We started off with the pot stickers and Har Gow dim sum. The Har Gow was our favorite of the 2, but the pot stickers were very good as well. The Har Gow was beautifully made, and equally delicious. We shared entrees and got the Mongolian Beef with lettuce, and the 20 vegetable fried rice. Both were equally tasty, but the fried rice was my favorite of the 2. For desert, we had the churros with Oaxaca chocolate dipping sauce. The churros are coated with a cinnamon sugar covering. An outstanding meal that was accompanied by great, friendly service. We’ll be back!
My husband and I got the Vegetarian Chef’s Experience and the Cocktail Experience. Everything was excellent, food came out quickly and we had so much fun eating all the little bites. Looking forward to coming back again on a future Las Vegas trip!
Amazing food. Jose Andres is a genius.
Great food, cocktails and service!
Food was delicious and margaritas amazing
We are locals and brought some out of town guests with us. We have eaten at several of Jose's spots here in Vegas. This just didn't come up to the standards we have come to expect from his brand.
It was a complete disappointment. I came with a group of 8 made a reservation earlier in the day and was seated 20minutes later than expected. The food was WACK!!!!! The posole was lacking spices, and the agua chiles were a joke... they were bland and sad looking. The lettuce cups were okay but the actual lettuce was still wet which ruined the sauce on the chicken. The micheladas were not any better. They are so easy to make which I could not understand how they could be messed up. The tomato mix was way too concentrated, it was like ketchup consistency at the bottom of the cup. The tacos were alright, definitely would not recommend. I expected more from the tacos especially since each order only included one. The servers were nice and the place was pretty to look at, but the food was a disappointment. Never going back.
Amazing food! $80 for 2 for dinner, so reasonably priced as well.
Girlfriends weekend in Vegas! Excellent dining experience
Was told the only foods not containing garlic were guacamole, fish tacos and fried rice. The chef was not able to accommodate me despite the restaurant being less than 1/2 full. I left utterly disappointed and hungry.
We did the price fix menu and everything was outstanding. It was a great combination of the name Chinese and Mexican. My husband also did the 4 drink offer and they were all good. My favorite thing was the tuna cerviche which has nuts added to it. It gave the dish the extra texture that it needed. Overall we had a great dining experience
Interesting food menu with great ambiance! 👌
Food excellent. Service just OK. Same experience in two visits.
We decided to stay at the hotel for dinner before attending a concert and chose China Poblano.
This place is very cool, think Mexican meets Chinese, sounds weird right? Boy does this concept work, the foods blend together effortlessly, enticing the pallette for more. Both food and service where an absolute A+. If possible, save a little room for the Mango Rice dessert, OMG, sooooo good.
They don’t have an idea how to prepare Agauachile
The food was amazing. They were able to accommodate my shellfish allergy. Highly recommend!
I've never been to a restaurant like this before and I was pleasantly surprised. Margaritas and guacamole with a bowl of fried rice was something I never knew I needed in life but wow. I will definitely be back!
Creative food and very good service.
It was very good
Food was excellent. Spicy margarita was delicious. Lively ambiance but casual feel. Very inviting.
