The food doesn’t come out at the same time.
The food was horrible, didn’t state the tuna was raw
Total was of money I left and wasn’t fulfilled and felt like I just wasted $80
This is one of our favorite restaurants. It is amazing to order delicious Chinese and Mexican food in one place. The guacamole that is prepared table-side is an absolute must! Then, you’ve got to order the refried bean taco, the wonton soup, and the fried rice. It will knock your socks off. Most of the food is designed to be shared. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. I highly recommend!
Our 3rd time there. They have THE MOST AMAZING vegetable fried rice. Expensive but SOOOOOOOOOOO good:)
So delicious! We will definitely come back on our next trip
The food had potential but my girlfriends and I ALL ended up sick. I was hoping the restaurant was a fusion between Chinese and Mexican but instead they just had different options on the menu. This was a sad miss....
Another great meal at China Poblano, tacos and dumplings all made from scratch in house, what more could you want!
If you dine alone it's easy to get in and grab a seat at the dumpling bar area.
Always love the varied selections here. Tacos are especially good. The table side guacamole is pricey, but we always get it anyway cause it’s so good! Dian Dian noodles were just OK, wouldn’t get those again
Such a wonderful experience. It’s great having both cuisines available. We started with the salt foam margarita. Wow ! The best I have ever had.
The table side guacamole was very good. We had carnitas tacos , followed by three different types of Dim Sum that also was delightful . Ended with a recommendation from our server which was the lettuce wraps with finely shredded sweet potato on top.
What is better than not having to decide between two types of food that one loves ?
Great food! Great ambiance! Great service!
Food was great, ambience was great. The furniture was okay, but many seats didn’t have backs, so if you have any back problems, be aware. Will definitely go again whenever I’m in Vegas.
Pricey and smalllllll portions even for Vegas.
We went for something different and unique, before a show. A 6pm reservation was plenty of time. Too bad the OpenTable reservation means nothing here. We arrived at 6, and were told it would 5-10 minutes. In 10 minutes we asked, and we're told it would about 15 minutes. That's where we lost it, and they found us a table. Unfortunately, there was no server assigned to this table, so we sat the extra 15 minutes anyway. The portions were small, but the prices were fairly low, so...... Probably won't return here any time soon.
Not recommended due to a couple of dishes being salty and fishy, as in too much fish sauce. Pricey even for Vegas.
22 vegetable fried rice was very good, as was the mandarin beef in lettuce. I did not care for the garlic shrimp at all (gummy sauce and bitter flavor). I did enjoy the calamari appetizer and the chips and salsa. The house margarita was tasty, but tiny pour, barely four or five sips.
Food was very good, service team were nice and attentive of water and clearing but we co
Great menu, innovative drinks, awesome service
As vegetarians, they accommodated our requests and modified dishes
Very cool but kind of pricey for the small amount of food.
The four of us greatly enjoyed our meal. I did the prix fixe menu (which not everyone at the table needs to do, which is great) and thought it was fantastic. At $45 for an 8 course meal, it's also a great value - especially for Vegas. Very good food and service. Recommended.
Some dishes were great (xiaolongbao, pork buns, steak, long beans) while others were bad (mushroom salad). Waitress said she'd course things out, but I don't feel like the two kitchens/cuisines went together well, or that the meal was coursed out properly. Things seemed to come out of the kitchens haphazardly. A rare case where the whole is worse than the sum of its parts.
Loved the food!!!!!
Third time here and it was another good culinary experience!
An exceptional experience- Cosmopolitan is beautiful hotel, China Poblano is a beautiful, hip space with wonderfully creative cuisine prepared in excellent manner. It has a very cool hip vibe during the dining service. Just a great time in all ways
Fabulous. Food was great service was great and ambience was great
Great food. Fun Vibe!
What a fabulous meal! We did the tasting menu AND drink tasting menu. Everything was special and delicious. The menu offers a blend of vibrant flavors and it's absolutely worth visiting again (and again, I'm sure). We added on the When Pigs Fly BBQ pork steamed buns and the freshly made tableside guacamole to the tasting menu. Each dish was served and explained fully by the staff, no matter who it was to deliver. That's not something that happens everywhere, as often a dish is simply dropped off with no information. In the end, we had just a bit too much food, but it was worth it to have such an adventure in cuisine. Jose Andres, PLEASE open more China Poblano locations, preferably near Orlando. We're already looking forward to Jaleo opening here soon. Thank you amazing staff for a great night!
We decided to do the chef's tasting experience- ended up being one of the most creative ones I have ever had, with inventive cocktail pairing, but also one of the greatest deals based on a totally reasonable price. Definitely add on the guacamole and sticky buns - well worth it! The pairing of the desert - a light take on mango sticky rice with a mezcal Negroni- is easily one of the best pairings I have ever had.
Highly recommend and can’t wait to return - especially since on top of spectacular food, they gave us stellar service - a must in my book for a place to become a favorite.
My customers, as well as myself - 2 lunches in two days - enjoyed the 'different' atmosphere and offerings. We enjoyed it very much. The drink samplers were great as well.
Not very tasty. Very bland tacos. The chicken soup was good. Very expensive for such flavorless items. Would not recommend.
The food was ok, nothing really special about it. We shared Spring rolls, dumplings, noodles with shrimp and lettuce cups. The service was not good, ignored mostly. Not a cheap place, cool menu but not a lot of food given
China Poblano made our last night in Vegas and my birthday dinner spectacular.
It is hard to say anything bad as the service was exception. I don’t just mean prompt, I mean warm, caring, attentive, hospitable. That aside, really the food was not good, the seats were uncomfortable and the menu was not well balanced. So much for a two star Michelin chef.
Service was almost non-existent. I think we were bothering the server as they really did not seem to want to be working. As for the food it was extremely hit and miss with more miss. Fish tacos way over cooked. Guacamole was good as was the carnits tacos. The Sui Mie was not good. It was cold. The Dan Dan noodles took forever to come out. We had to ask twice. Then they were cold.
So much potential but there seemed to be a lack of focus on both food and service.
Some things were great some only ok. I expected better from a Michelin star chef!
The little stools are backless and uncomfortable for a long meal
Unique menu and good management. Reasonable prices. I eat there regularly
One of our favorite restaurants in Vegas! The food is life changing and the staff is very professional and helpful!
We were lucky to have a friend recommend this restaurant while we were in town for CaterSource. We asked the group near us what they liked and they said EVERYTHING. Food was awesome and we will be back.
Might have been the best lunch my wife have ever had. Great last meal at the cosmopolitan
We spent thousands of dollars eating at the nicest places in Vegas, and wouldn’t you know...this affordable little spot ended up being our favorite. Wonderful food, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, interesting menu. Do the chef’s tasting menu with the cocktail tasting. It’s worth it.
