This is one of the worst meals we have had in Seattle in a very long time. The ribs we got for the appetizer were burned to a crisp and barely edible (unfortunately, I was so hungry, I didn't send them back) and both entrees were way below average. The large chunks of chicken didn't even feel like real chicken. It was a bad meal and we don't plan to ever go back.
We had never been here before but decided to reenact "The Christmas Story" movie and have Chinese food for our Christmas dinner. The food was fine and portions generous. The disappointed came in the physical condition of the restaurant. There was no accessible handicap ramp at the entrance so lots of steps to go up. Front window was broken out and looked like it may have been that way for awhile. The tables and chairs looked like pop-up banquet seating, placed very close together rather than comfortable traditional restaurant tables. There were white chair covers and my seat had food stains on it. We had invited another couple to join us so I was embarrassed by the surroundings being pretty "tired". We won't be hurrying to go back.
I thought China Harbor was better than most Chinese restaurant - better quality. However, it was just ok like most Chinese venues. Disappointed.
We went for thanksgiving dinner. Big mistake
Majestic splendor. Great baiju!
Food was very very good. Everything else - Bloody awful. Some sort of party going on and we got dumped on a table at the back of it, place was really noisy throughout. Were rushed through choosing food by a waitress who clearly had to look after the main party and didn’t have time for us. When we did order, was told “no you can’t have that, it’ll take too long” and ended up having to take staff’s recommendation. Food, when it did come, admittedly was excellent. At no point was there any attempt at an apology either. Do consider this place for takeout but we certainly won’t consider eating there again.
Had a nice meal. The waitress was very nice. Had a table that overlooked the water. We had a family dinner for 2. Was a little bit more expensive than most chinese restaraunts, but it was in Seattle and on the water. We went Sunday, there was free parking.
Amazing views. Tasty food. Very friendly service. Had to try this place as I’ve passed it so often.
