Chima Steakhouse - Fort Lauderdale
Our reservation was 45 minutes late. Was not happy to having to wait in the lobby for that amount of time.
We were told there would be 12 different cuts of meat. Think we saw many six. Still waiting for the rest.
The help your self bar was excellent.
Chima has a beautiful layout and vibe. The food was amazing and all the gauchos and wait staff was attentive. I would definitely go back.
Food was awesome and the wait staff was very attentive.
The Lamb was very tough and the Sirloin Picada was to rare, they could not get it to Medium
Food was excellent, service was just fair in terms of attentiveness and being present at the table. Meat juice was spilled on me on two separate occasions during careful meat service, which is not something you expect at a steakhouse of this caliber and expense. Overall, great food but as a whole, the experience was lacking compared to year prior.
Sad about them not having shrimp that they had the first time I went, but shows they change the menu constantly which is an excellent sign of a high class clean restaurant, very pleased.
One of our favorites. The Steak did not disappoint. The lamb and chicken fell a little short this time, but we will be back
But would qualify the recommendation. price for just salad bar is too high. quality of meat was less than usual. the restaurant it self and the courtyard area is beautiful as always. also they included the wine bottle in the automatic 18% tip. dont like that.
The Picanha steak was go to meat for our table and made all others meats a distant second place. Honorable mention to the filet minion and the lamb. We look forward to our next evening at Chima!
Always a treat! Service is remarkable! Food is great! Atmosphere is wonderful!
To expensive for what you get !
Food is ok but you can find better restaurants with better prices !
Best meal at China’s this time. They have improved a lot.
Would go back again and again
Food Always excellent. Wine quite expensive. Service; depends on employees. some are excellent. Valet service 7$. This should be included and just tipping should be allowed.
Excellent dining experience with great attention to detail.
It was awful. We had never eaten in a Brazilian steakhouse before and will never again. The salad bar had very odd choices and all of the meats were extremely salty and very over seasoned. Extremely expensive for what we ate. Not for us
Another great dinner at Chima. Food is always spectacular and service is second to none. Thanks!
Food was really good, great wine selection and great service
Delicious food!! Noce & clean. It was great having the live entertainment and my whole family loved it.
We went for a New Years dinner. The ambiance was just beautiful I loved the lit trees at the entrance. The decor is just amazing.
Food and service are outstanding in this place. We come for special occasions. We came for the New Year Eve and it didn't disappoint in terms of quality and service, although the place was packed. We just had to wait 35 minutes past our reservation time to get a table. Other than that, we had a good time.
They screwed us
Nice place to have New Years dinner.
Nice server from Leon, Spain.
Wife has stage 4 cancer and you guys listened to hear request of having a table close to buffet...
The entrance garden is good
Dinner was delicious! The grilled pineapple was amazing!! Service was outstanding! Wonderful New Year's Eve experience!
It is always a very good experience. Wonderful food and the best salad bar. Service is excellent
New Year’s Eve Dinner
Great food and friendly staff. The pineapple was out of this world! I can eat that over and over again!
Great salad bar and the meat is also very good! Nice ambiance service is excellent!
We will be back😁😁
We arrived at Chima about 7:55 pm on Sunday night with a 8:00 pm reservation, the place was super busy we were a little worried about getting a table. At 8:00 o’clock one of the managers her name was Jennifer a very sweet girl come to us to tell us our table was ready. She introduce us to our server Brianna who took care of every detail and ask us specific questions about our preferences in side dishes, wine and beverages and also explain to us the meat cuts and other details. The experience was wonderful. Phenomenal restaurant with and incredible full well known and trained staff managers in every area making sure all the guest are having a great service. The gauchos (the gentleman’rodicios that go around the restaurant with meat) ask you how you prefer your meat cook, they cut it and serve you your preferences. The quality of the food is amazing and is the best we have tried in south Florida. My recommendations would be the açaí caipirinha it’s a great drink to start, the salad bar has an amazing selection of veggies, cheeses and salads. We drunk a bottle of Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon highly recommended of course the meat and we have a Lava Cake and a Key Lime pie. The really raise the bar with this restaurant hats off Chima.
Buono bella atmosfera conviviale con amici
Made reservation several months ago. Still, we were seated next to the buffet. Food and caipirinhas were excellent as always, but couldn’t we have had a better (less trafficky) seat?
Air conditioning was unbearable
Great experience overall! Good strong drinks too.
If you know your cuts, that's the place
Excellent food and great restaurant
Good but not great.
We went as a family to celebrate a birthday. Had a great time enjoying the setting but were not impressed by the food. We started with caipirinhas at the bar, which were perfectly made. The happy hour pricing made them even better. Staff and service were attentive and gracious. We were disappointed that the first piece of meat served, a lamb chop, was grisly and inedible. Some of the following lesser cuts of beef were also a bit tough. The bacon wrapped filets and the Cajun ribeye were excellent as was the linguiça and pineapple. The shrimp were quite large but did not taste fresh. The salad bar was good but nothing outstanding. Was disappointed that there was no couve and the farofa was a cold side. The rice and beans were quite good. We had a bottle of Malbec that was reasonably priced. The picanha only came around ONCE to our table near the end of a nearly 2 hour seating. This was especially disappointing since the menu boasted 3 different types of picanha. Overall we had a nice dining experience but expected much better.
overpriced for what it is. They making money on water literally (constantly offered water, which >$8 a bottle). According to a bill they able to snick in 7 bottles of water to 4 people!
It feels that they are not to deliver the service and food, but nickel and dime you.
Service is okay, but they did not pay attention to what you want. Spending >$500 for 4 people here not delivering the value. You can get for less than $300 elsewhere with better service.
It is still worth being there at least once if you can afford it.
