Can't beat the $2.50 mimosas on Sundays (and maybe Saturdays I cant remember). Their food is incredible. Will definitely visit more often.
Best breakfast/brunch food in the area! Would definitely recommend to a friend!
All a great time and foof
We have dined here many times. However, we were unaware and disappointed that the Valentine’s Day menu was extended through Sunday. Not much was offered to my husband that he wanted. The entree I was looking forward to wasn’t available.
Our waiter was friendly and very attentive. My sweet tea was amazing! We will dine with you again. But we do not want to visit on a day with a smaller menu.
Great service, good food.
First time here, and overall was very pleased. Cocktails were excellent and good value. Appetizer of Fried green tomatoes were lacking, but should have expected this in February. Short Ribs were excellent and would definitely order this again. Shrimp and grits were good, but wife says she would not order again. Carrot cake was awesome and serving was huge. Some bread with meal would be a nice touch. Will definitely go back to try other menu items.
I come to this place often and they have some of the best chicken and waffle I have ever eaten. The amount is always more than enough, but unfortunately for Valentine’s day’s they have shrunk their plates and doble the price. I also got assigned the littlest table ever right by the waiters prep table. I was a little disappointed for something that was suppose to be special
Surprise Vday Celebration for my husband. He truly enjoyed every moment of the evening. We have made a couple attempts to eat here but couldn’t get a seat. So glad we made it. Thank you 🙏🏾
We loved it! Took all of our kids out on Valentines Day and loved it as much as we all did on Christmas Eve! GET THE SHORT RIB! Yummmm!
It is one of our favorite dinner date places! We love Thursday night special of appetizer, two main dish and desserts for $25!
The food was fantastic but the service was lacking. We found ourselves waiting for the server or having to wave down a server from another table in order the get drunk refills, condiments for our food that was getting cold, and the check. The staff was very friendly but they were not very attentive.
As usual the food was excellent and the service was very good. We have been to Chicken and the Egg several times and have always experienced great food, service and experience.
The food was very good, service was outstanding. Will definitely go back
My brunch was delicious, thank you!
My brunch was delicious, thank you!
Service with wait staff was not good again. Had to send back food items back. Service is somewhat declining
The food is amazing and the service is too!
We got there early because it was our first date. Our server was absent most of the meal. Others were pitching in for him. I’ve been here numerous times. Today’s visit was lackluster.
Great experience overall. Food was delicious. Ran like a well oiled machine. Fast service. Very attentive.
Food was great. The service was good considering our waitress was handling numerous tables. Overall experience was very good and we will be back!
The sas family.
I have had dinner here before when I was in town (2015) and returned because I thought the food was great. This time MUCH DIFFERENT...o made a reservation online bc I was unsure of how busy they would be in a Tuesday. I waited at the hostess stand for several mins before I was greeted and there was only a few people in the entire restaurant. The server greeted us promptly. I ordered the steak medium rare and it was well done. My server had another steak cooked for me and it still wasn’t MR and the quality of meat was terrible. I was unable to substitute a small salad with my meal so it was $8. A total of $30 for a meal that ended up in the trash. This was the worst meal I have had during my 5 day stay in the area.
On a good note. My server was great and the reasturant was clean.
There was a group party next us that was a little noisy but they were enjoying themselves. Just made it a bit harder for our threesome to hear each other.
Even with an Open Table reservation, and showing up prior to our reservation time, we waited about 45 minutes- while parties coming in after us were all given tables. Very frustrating.
Waitress was apologetic and gave great service, but it was hard to fix overall experience.
I wanted somewhere close to take my parents for brunch, and the Chicken and the Egg was the perfect spot! There was abundant parking, which is always a bonus. We all got Bloody Marys, which were great and only $5! The food was delicious—especially the chicken and waffles. We’ll definitely be back!
Amazing food and great vibes. The staff is very professional and the wait times are never too long. Would recommend to anyone!
This place never disappoints. We had a bridal shower dinner here, and the bride to be and the other guests LOVED the food and atmosphere. I will always come back.
Yes but I would tell them to reserve a table 30 minutes before they planned to eat. We arrived 10 minutes before our scheduled reservation only to have to wait 45 more minutes after the reservation time came and went. Service was good though they messed a few things up. My second time here and both times they mixed up the seating and time. I have to get my own silverware and a chair they forgot to add to our table. Service at the front was horrendous!
Mimosas and prices are some of the best. The food was pretty good, I got the chicken and waffles and I guess there’s nothing too amazing that can be done with that. They accidentally gave our food to the table next to us, and rather than apologizing to us, they apologized to the other table. Even though all parties were aware if the incident, no acknowledgement was made to us regarding the error. A simple apology would’ve been appreciated. I would say after that a bad taste was left, maybe that’s why the chicken and waffles were mediocre.
Their “speciality” Chicken & Waffle was disappointing. It was 2 very small pieces of chicken and a cold waffle. My companion had a salad for $9 and (greasey) pimento balls.
Her Food was just ok.
Brunch was awesome and well worth the visit. This was a great place to bring our family who was visiting.
Chicken was undercooked & when we sent it back it took foooorrrrreeeeevvvverrrrr to get a replacement. Then when the bill came we were still charged for the meal (not comped). Won't be going back anytime soon.
We love this place but we only have been there for brunch. We are hoping to come back for dinner but brunch is definitely worth trying!! I do have to say that service was good but not excellent. In that department, they need to work on but it wasn’t horrible. Food was your incredible and mimosas were great!
Amazing food outstanding service!
We got seated within 5 minutes of our arrival time for brunch. Party of 6. Our server was nice & attentive. They were out of the fish dip and fried green tomatoes, but we found some other yummy options. The featured bread was lemon pound cake with blueberry compote. Delicious. Spinach Benedict, Nap time breakfast, skillet meal were all delicious. (I am improvising the entree names...) I would definitely have brunch here again!
Delicious food and awesome service! The blue plate breakfast is so yummy!
drove here from Alpharetta to meet daughter at KSU and because it was in the Dining Pass book. We all loved the service and our meals....loved the german potatoes!
Food was kinda cold and came out wrong at first. No apology from manager. I would suggest you go elsewhere for brunch. Not worth the price they charged.
We usually go here for dinner but decided to try for Saturday brunch. The menu offers a large brunch variety which we loved! The only downside was a fatty/inedible piece of meat on omelet.
Excellent food and perfect service! Much too loud however. The restaurant could benefit from noise reducing walls and ceilings and a curtain or two. Overall, however, a good experience!
