Excellent choice, first-time visit, will return.
I had a date night with my youngest son. We had a nice time the only issue was we were next to a large party and they kept getting up to walk with small children and the teens kept going from person to person so we kept having to move our chair. It was distracting and a bit annoying after awhile. Food was good and so was the service.
Good food, great actress.
We visit Chicago's about once a week. We enjoy the bar and bartenders and also the restaurant. Going once a week says it all.
In case you haven't had the ribs get it next time b/c they are super. Also someone ordered the chicken parma special & said it was super. Looking forward to returning & having not only a great time but also fantastic food
Always very good, the only negative thing I can say I had the bone-in pork chop it was excellent, with mashed potatoes they were cold. Aside from that everything was great.
The food was outstanding and Jennifer and the service was even better. Great prices along with live entertainment made for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Chicago’s.
Great service! Great food!
We've just moved to the Roswell area and so far Chicago's is one of our favorites. We'll definitely be returning.
Enjoyed a delicious Veal Chop that was the evening’s special. Terrific service. Friendly atmosphere.
OK experience over all. Food was good; the service was excellent. IMO the food was overpriced. I would visit again only if in the area and only if nothing else is available.
We used to love Chicago’s in the past but new owners let everything slip & we stoped going. New owner Mark Zwolack has returned it to what many of us loved in the past. The food & service is exceptional & we now go often
Nice casual atmosphere. Food and service was great! Enjoyed hearing live jazz from bar. Planning to go back and visit bar area next time.
We had a fabulous meal at Chicago's. Our entrees were deliciously prepared and filling. It's nice to find a restaurant that includes a salad with dinner entrees. Our server was attentive but not hovering. Desserts were perfect as well. Chicago's is a bit of a drive from our home, but worth the trip. We will definitely be back!
Another great meal at Chicago’s, service was excellent and the live music in the speak easy was a great way to end the evening. Highly recommend Chicago’s.
Wow!!! What a great neighborhood gem!!! Under new ownership and it’s better than ever!!! Thankful to have this restaurant in East Cobb!!!
Chicago's - Roswell is a delightful find in East Cobb. It's beginnings as a great steak place over 25 years ago are not forgotten along side more modern food offerings. The restaurant has changed ownership somewhat recently but this has not diminished the quality of food or service. Very recently, they have added a talented jazz trio Friday nights in the attached bar area bringing an enjoyable change of pace to the usual bar entertainment. A neighborhood gem!
The food was below average at best, especially for the prices they charge. Not somewhere I would go again.
Food was excellent. Service was slloooowwww.
Took awhile to take and deliver our drink order.
Took awhile for the appetizers to arrive.
Took awhile for the main course to arrive.
The restaurant was crowded, but for heaven sake, get more staff whether it be kitchen or wait staff.
It was our first time at Chicago’s and even though the food was great, due to the slow service it is most likely our last.
Delicious food and great service. Our waiter kept us informed about our meals coming out.
We've probably eaten at Chicago's 100+ times in the last 25 years. This visit ranks toward the bottom of that list of experiences. They left us sitting there waiting a good 15 minutes past our reservation time. The glass of wine that I ordered tasted like it had been open for days. They offered a special surf & turf with a chimichurri sauce. I didn't really want the lobster tail and was flatly denied any of the chimichurri sauce with the regular $38 filet mignon. You can only get sauces with the special, apparently. We were seated in the middle of the raised seating area where there probably shouldn't have been a table as my chair was bumped by employees several times. I understand it's under new ownership. We're going to take a break from coming here for a while to see if they get their act together.
We discovered Chicago’s quietly via its OpenTable reviews/rating more than local marketing or even word of mouth. We found it a great place with a solid base of regular customers and the ability to serve couples, families, and groups with equal talent. Our food and bar service was top notch, special kudos to our server Eric for skillfully taking us though our first night there. You’ve got new regulars out of his work!
It was a special evening with friends. As always, Chicago's shines. Ryan, our server, was excellent and accommodating. The only negative was being seated in the booth adjacent to the entrance to the kitchen. It was not noisy, but the light and activity dimmed the atmosphere for us.
The food was very low quality.
Chicago’s is one of our very favorites in East Cobb.
Enjoyable local neighborhood dining a step above most restaurants. A little pricey but good for special outings.
Used to be a regular for prime rib, then two servings got apologies from waiter then manager. The next was very good. Had not returned for months. V Day serving of 16 oz looked great and pink as medium rare should be when slow roasted. But steak knife could not cut the meat. We hacked away at it to no avail, leaving the plate awash in juice as the knife just sqished the meat. I presume the supplier is the issue and the kitchen slight undercooking compounded the toughness. Don’t know when we will return but have enjoyed many nights in years past, mainly early dinners in the bar.
This is a local spot that is pretty a casual in a strip mall. It’s just down from a goodwill drop off and nail tech. The pricing seems a bit much for what you get and for it’s location. It seems to be a over 60’s spot .
I’d say that the staff and service is excellent and the warm sweet croissant that came with the salad was to die for. The filet minion is nothing to write home about and the grits are a bit plain. We tried the dessert menu because it was Valentine’s Day and the bread pudding was cold and had to be sent back to be heated. The warm chocolate bunt cake was good.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience but for the price tag associated with it, I think the food would have been better at Outback Steakhouse sadly.
They have the best Mushroom Soup....it is delicious. We ordered the roasted brussel sprouts which absolutely HORRIBLE. They were too mushy and had an odd flavor combination. We did not eat them after the first taste.
Chicago's is an upscale restaurant in an area without a lot of choices. We love it, and love that we can request low salt options and they are always happy to help.
Mark Zwolak, owner, makes you feel welcome and attends to every detail.
The food is delicious and the service is promt and friendly. They take reservations!
They have a private area for parties and a lounge/bar with live music on Friday and Satuday nights. It is our favorite Roswell GA arearestaurant! Dale and Richard Millman
Another amazing dinner at Chicago's! Our server was Eric and he was AWESOME! This dinner was family oriented, and Eric totally catered to our children, ages 7 and 9, making them feel important and special. The food was fantastic, as always. This place has quickly become our favorite local dining spot!
My wife and I have gone here for years but recently it has fallen below par for us. My salad came out wrong when I requested the change it seemed like I was an inconvenience. My steak was not cooked properly .........Question, when did the wait staff stop asking to cut into our steaks to see if they are done properly? Again, always a neighborhood gem for us not so much any more.
We’ve been going to Chicago’s for years and although at one point their food seemed to slip a bit, they have recovered well. Everything we had was tasty and well prepared. Their wait staff is a bit older and more mature and supply excellent and timely service. The management is welcoming and involved. All-in-all we would recommend Chicago’s and we will certainly continue to dine here.
First visit in 10 years. Store is tired as is the service and the food. Serious step up needed.
Ate here recently on a Friday night. This was our first experience at this location. Had dined at a Chicago's in Roswell on Old Alabama Rd.
Our server was extremely helpful, courteous and cheerful. Our food was excellent. I had the Special of the night, Lamb Chops and my wife had the Prime Rib. My only suggestion and it is more for my wife and I, I think she ordered the Prime Rib Medium Rare. Next time we will order it Medium, little too Rare. But still delicious.
I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back!
We have dined at Chicago's for years but since the change of ownership things seem to be moving downhill. I ordered the salmon special and the waitress asked how I wanted my salmon prepared. Then, the chicken special was delivered instead and the manager basically told me I had ordered the wrong thing. I don't ever remember being asked how I wanted my chicken cooked! They did say they were sorry but that was it. While the food was very good, I'm disappointed in the attention to detail and customer focus that seems to have been lost.
As always, service is outstanding. The food here is consistent and excellent. Specials are often inventive. This is a well-managed restaurant shown by consistent wait staff and attention by the management.
The filet mignon was perfectly cooked to a uniform medium rear temperature with a nice crust. The side we selected of brussel sprouts with apple slices and bacon was very good. The ambiance was nice complemented by music from the adjacent bar.
