Food was excellent. Service was slloooowwww.
Took awhile to take and deliver our drink order.
Took awhile for the appetizers to arrive.
Took awhile for the main course to arrive.
The restaurant was crowded, but for heaven sake, get more staff whether it be kitchen or wait staff.
It was our first time at Chicago’s and even though the food was great, due to the slow service it is most likely our last.
Delicious food and great service. Our waiter kept us informed about our meals coming out.
We've probably eaten at Chicago's 100+ times in the last 25 years. This visit ranks toward the bottom of that list of experiences. They left us sitting there waiting a good 15 minutes past our reservation time. The glass of wine that I ordered tasted like it had been open for days. They offered a special surf & turf with a chimichurri sauce. I didn't really want the lobster tail and was flatly denied any of the chimichurri sauce with the regular $38 filet mignon. You can only get sauces with the special, apparently. We were seated in the middle of the raised seating area where there probably shouldn't have been a table as my chair was bumped by employees several times. I understand it's under new ownership. We're going to take a break from coming here for a while to see if they get their act together.
We discovered Chicago’s quietly via its OpenTable reviews/rating more than local marketing or even word of mouth. We found it a great place with a solid base of regular customers and the ability to serve couples, families, and groups with equal talent. Our food and bar service was top notch, special kudos to our server Eric for skillfully taking us though our first night there. You’ve got new regulars out of his work!
It was a special evening with friends. As always, Chicago's shines. Ryan, our server, was excellent and accommodating. The only negative was being seated in the booth adjacent to the entrance to the kitchen. It was not noisy, but the light and activity dimmed the atmosphere for us.
The food was very low quality.
Chicago’s is one of our very favorites in East Cobb.
Enjoyable local neighborhood dining a step above most restaurants. A little pricey but good for special outings.
Used to be a regular for prime rib, then two servings got apologies from waiter then manager. The next was very good. Had not returned for months. V Day serving of 16 oz looked great and pink as medium rare should be when slow roasted. But steak knife could not cut the meat. We hacked away at it to no avail, leaving the plate awash in juice as the knife just sqished the meat. I presume the supplier is the issue and the kitchen slight undercooking compounded the toughness. Don’t know when we will return but have enjoyed many nights in years past, mainly early dinners in the bar.
This is a local spot that is pretty a casual in a strip mall. It’s just down from a goodwill drop off and nail tech. The pricing seems a bit much for what you get and for it’s location. It seems to be a over 60’s spot .
I’d say that the staff and service is excellent and the warm sweet croissant that came with the salad was to die for. The filet minion is nothing to write home about and the grits are a bit plain. We tried the dessert menu because it was Valentine’s Day and the bread pudding was cold and had to be sent back to be heated. The warm chocolate bunt cake was good.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience but for the price tag associated with it, I think the food would have been better at Outback Steakhouse sadly.
They have the best Mushroom Soup....it is delicious. We ordered the roasted brussel sprouts which absolutely HORRIBLE. They were too mushy and had an odd flavor combination. We did not eat them after the first taste.
Chicago's is an upscale restaurant in an area without a lot of choices. We love it, and love that we can request low salt options and they are always happy to help.
Mark Zwolak, owner, makes you feel welcome and attends to every detail.
The food is delicious and the service is promt and friendly. They take reservations!
They have a private area for parties and a lounge/bar with live music on Friday and Satuday nights. It is our favorite Roswell GA arearestaurant! Dale and Richard Millman
Another amazing dinner at Chicago's! Our server was Eric and he was AWESOME! This dinner was family oriented, and Eric totally catered to our children, ages 7 and 9, making them feel important and special. The food was fantastic, as always. This place has quickly become our favorite local dining spot!
