Have been here twice now and I'm blown away by the service. You can tell from the host stand, service staff, kitchen, and management team all take great pride in their restaurant. Constantly checking tables and seeing if guests need anything. I love this place and will continue to go for special occasions. It is pricey, but very reasonable as compared to other similar Chicago steakhouses. Food was fantastic both trips. Was even given complimentary keylime pie as we were celebrating our anniversary. I can't say enough great things about this restaurant and all of its staff!
Our food was fantastic. The service was very good. Mainly I think because we the first ones there and only two other tables where there till we left. The prime rib was cooked to order and was a great portion of meat. Will be getting this again in the future.
George’s suggestion to try the Tomahawk Steak was followed and it was to die for!
The steak, which big enough for two, was tasty and extremely succulent.
The evening was amazing! Great music , superb service, and excellent dishes are the standards of Chicago Prime.

To say that Armin and the entire staff at this establishment are professional is an understatement. From drink, dinner and wine pairings to the decadent desserts, you can not go wrong for a romantic dinner or business event. Live music Tuesday night was an added flavor
Old school steak house with good seafood options. Well trained wait staff and professional authentic management. Wet-aged beef, hearty portions. Also well presented chops and chicken on menu. Full bar and small but good wine list. Most items ala cart, some with sides. Soup or salad accompany many options. Good appetizers although some a bit too saucy. Solid desserts steakhouse desserts.
My wife and I enjoyed a nice quiet dinner on a Sunday evening. Have been here a few times and the service never disappoints. The food is excellent, our server who was also handling the bar was always available and attentive to our questions. The prices are a bit high but comparable to higher end dining. This is the place to go for a quiet dinner with great service.
Nice place. Looks high end and a place that you can bring customers or have a business dinner. However, it always concerns me when the server is so sure that they don’t write down the order. If they remember everything in detail, no problem, everything works well and you come out looking good. But when you get several things wrong.... it’s just not worth it. Why risk it? Better to just write it down and get it right the first time no?
Michael was our server for our 2 year anniversary and gave us the best hospitality I have ever seen in all my years. I used to work in restaurants all through college, and understand the need for ownership, confidence of the menu, humor and integrity with the table, and a "sense of urgency," and yet refinement in approach to make each guest feel welcomed and special. Michael did this for us with his knowledge of the menu, anticipation of our needs, recommendations and suggestions, as well as his quick-wit humor and sarcasm, which we enjoyed and added to the experience.
The food itself was wonderful; we ordered the grilled calamari which was done nicely; not rubbery or chewy. We followed this with their rendition of the Wedge Salad. The lettuce was crisp, the ingredients fresh, and the dressing was just right. We also enjoyed a little bit of the "smoky" taste coming from the bacon that added to the dressing and the tomato combination. Finally, we each had our dinner. I had the 18 oz bone-in NY Strip medium rare, and my girlfriend had the 10 oz Filet rare, with a side of wasabi mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. We each had our steaks topped with the maple-seared horseradish. Both were cooked perfectly, and the flavors went very well with everything else we had. My girlfriend and I finished the meal with a Tiramisu from the House, and a nice double candle lit to "melt together" to pay tribute to our anniversary.
Overall, the food was wonderful, the service was impeccable, and the dining atmosphere was appropriate for the occasion. We recommend this location to anyone interested in having a nice evening out or a special occasion, and we will be back again soon.
I'm not a stranger to high-end steakhouses and their steaks were not even close to high-end. The steaks didn't taste aged tender but rather tenderized. My husband ordered a medium rare bone in porterhouse and it came out rare so he sent it back. It came out again still rare. The steak was so blue it was not tender and would not easily separate from the bone. He did tell management when they saw he ate little and we did get free dessert. I will say for the cost I would have spent a little more and gone down the street to Morton's for a better product and experience. I would not recommend nor will we go back again. My father who had been there before had only one thing to say, now I remember why I said I would not go back again the last time.
I do have friends that like this restaurant, however, we have gone twice and unfortunately did not enjoy our experience. Both times were to celebrate my Birthday. My steak was way to charred, should give people an option. And, my lobster was so over cooked I was hardly able to cut it with a knife. For me, it is extremely loud and not very romantic.

Food and service were excellent! Anything we needed was immediately provided - even without having to ask. Wait staff was over the top attentive. Was a birthday celebration and complementary dessert was brought to our table. Jorge provided fantastic service along with the rest of the staff. Highly recommend.
The ambiance was definitely classy and old school. The service was great and overall what a true restaurant should be. My filet mignon wasn’t cooked the way I ordered it but I’ll definitely go back one more time to give them another chance. A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Several of my business colleagues went Chicago Prime Steakhouse for Dinner. We were welcomed by the owners, who took pride in making sure everything was perfect. The steaks were great! Desserts as well. Everyone said it was nice to have such a nice dinner and felt like it was special.
