Chicago Cut Steakhouse
An outstanding dining experience in one of Chicago’s most gorgeous nighttime settings.
The service was horrible from the hostess to the servers
Best steak I’ve ever had. You have to try the Lobster Cargo!
They need help from an acoustical consultant
The food and service at Chicago Cut was absolutely outstanding. For 4 people, the check was nearly $550, which is a bit steep, but we had entrees, drinks, a bottle of wine, sides, and dessert. So perhaps not unreasonable. The only downside was the noise level was quite high and made it somewhat difficult to talk.
The lobstercargot is great- but I got the blackened shrimp salad which was sub par at best.
Excellent service and the steaks were outstanding. Would highly recommend this restaurant
As always, a wonderful experience at Chicago Cut Steakhouse! The Blackened Sea Scallops and Chilean Sea Bass were both amazing, and it was my first time trying the seasonal Vegetable Risotto (which is vegan btw!) is beyond delicious! Excellent service, every time!
Everything was absolutely fantastic! Highly recommend for that any day or special dining event when great needs to be extraordinary!
Dinner and drinks were fabulous. So happy we went after hitting some other steakhouses of late. A great meal and great to know that Chicago Cut is still awesome.
Food was excellent. Had the Bone in Ribeye . Would definitely return
Everything was really good, due to a little noise it was hard to hear waiter.
Classy urban steakhouse with great food and prices to match. Great for a special occasion.
As always, Chicago Cut never disappoints. From the ambience, to the service, to the going out of their way to take care of our 5 year old son, we love it.
I cannot say enough about this experience. The food is impeccable! You can get premium wines by the glass. The view is outstanding. The service is unparalleled! I’m a very opinionated person, especially when it come to quality. If you go to one place in Chicago...this is it!
The service was excellent and everything you would expect. The steaks and sides were bland and not worth the price tag. The salads were fantastic and you can't beat the view sitting on the river. At the end they gave my daughter a piece of chocolate cake that was heavenly.
If you're going to a steakhouse for steak there are several other restaurants your mouth will thank you for. If you're going for the experience this would be worth your money.
The food and service was excellent. The room is very crowded and loud. Not sure we will go back
We celebrated our anniversary at Chicago Cut and they made it very special! Perfect view and a surprise at the end, with a complimentary Anniversary dessert. The filet mignon was exceptional and everything cooked to perfection!
We ordered the marinated skirt steak which is great value. Very tender and flavorful dinner. This is now one of my favorite meals there even though there are plenty of other fine dinners. As usual the wait staff was excellent and attentive. Still one of my top favorites for downtown Chicago loop dining. Not a bargain but always excellent.
The view of the water and handsome buildings from our table was beautiful. However, it was noisy and tables were too close.
The meal was uneven, ranging from the most delicious onion rings we had ever tasted to the egregious amount of fat on our rib and porterhouse steaks!
Our waiter was friendly but a bit haughty. In conclusion, for a 300 dinner it was rather disappointing.
Our party had a great view of the river at this vibrant restaurant. All three of us in the group ordered different steaks and the one common conclusion, the steaks were good, but not great. Especially when you consider the prices charged. We've all had better more flavorful steaks at other restaurants. We also had to send back an order of fries which came out lukewarm at best. We would like to try this establishment in the future. Maybe an off night.
Awesome food and great service in a great dining space.
El mejor Steakhouse de Chicago, carísimo pero muy bueno
A fine steakhouse in a great city.
Best business breakfast in Chicago! Great view, discreet seating, avocado toast and smoked salmon on point.
Very loud, overpriced, overrated steak house. Don't bother.
Quite a disappointing experience for a restaurant I normally have been a big fan. Entertaining friends and although service was good, the steak was a huge disappointment...poor quality cut and quite small portions were less than desirable.
Poor, poor, poor
It’s not just a restaurant
It’s an experience of epic proportion combining the best food with the first class service and then combine that with the tremendous views coupled with the fantastic ambiance and the power hitters of Chicago and you then it hits you.
It’s not just a restaurant it’s an experience
Horrible service experience
Always the best experience every time I come here!
Great service and excellent food!!
Made a reservation ahead of time for birthday celebration with specific instructions to be able to get a window seating or a regular table. When we had arrived, we were only offered a booth and it just happened to be in the area where the staff was coming in and out so that ruined the intimacy experience. Our server never introduced himself nor didn't greet us at all. When we had asked questions regarding the menu, a good amount of the time he kept looking at his watch. When our food came out, not once did he check up on us. The only time we saw him was when he handed us our check. Loved the food, but hated the experience.
Service was fantastic and very patient with my not very patient grandfather.
Amazing food! Great service and beautiful view. Celebrated our anniversary and had a wonderful time
Great food but I believe it is overpriced. Significant other’s steak was not cooked properly to her liking, also a side I ordered was not brought out to me. The restaurant did serve us complimentary dessert for the issue.
Beautiful space--especially for late (11pm) after theater dinner. Attentive service- couple small glitches such as presenting wine of a more recent vintage without noting it was not the year ordered (when asked, server said "When we run out we go to newer year"--- begs the question: despite the selection from their inventory via iPad????)...and sauces presented on wrong plates (who ordered the bernaise? the horseradish? is this one yours- its not mine)---but again it was quite late and we had a great meal.
Would also warn other late diners that the Valet might be nowhere to be found upon arrival--and cabs and ubers will have not only all the curb lane, but the next lane too.--so there is no room to pull up and find them.
Service was impeccable, staff (Ted and team) was friendly and attentive. All food was delicious, but the Scallop appetizer was the best part of the meal.
Chicago Cut is always a superior dining experience. Service is impeccable. Food is consistently exceeding expectations!
Brilliant! They make each person a plate of the sides versus everyone passing around sides: a nice touch.
