Visited the restaurant Saturday night with friends and it was so good I went back the next night! Sitting outside was very pleasant because they have massive heat lamps to keep the guests warm. I had the crab cake appetizer and the scallops (they were both outstanding) I ordered the sea bass for my entree and it was cooked perfectly! My friend had the filet and also cooked perfectly. We shared the lobster Mac and cheese and creamed spinach and they were both delicious! I will def dine at this amazing restaurant in the future!

Everything was great except for the fact there was a group that was loud and using nonstop profanity during their birthday celebration. Didn't like that around my wife and kids so we left.

Even though indoor dining isn’t allowed they made the outdoor setting perfect. Heaters everywhere and tables and chairs from inside the restaurant. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday and it couldn’t have been better. Our server (Hector) was amazing and made our experience perfect. We can’t recommend Chicago Cut enough. Be sure to get the Lobster Escargot app. AMAZING

What a phenomenal experience! Considering the restrictions the city had placed on restaurants, Chicago Cut created the best atmosphere possible, making us fall in love with the restaurant and assuring our return when the restrictions are lifted. 5 stars experience!!!!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE. Wind chill was 25 degrees with outdoor seating. We almost canceled. So glad we didn't. Our server was named 'Hung.' There were 8 of us at 2 tables. The heat lamps made it very comfortable. We were in Chicago for a memorial service for a family member. The service was incredible. The food was amazing. Hung comp'd a couple of items on our menu, as he knew why we were in town. I have been to quite a few high end steak houses over the years. This was up there among the best ever, and Hung's service of both tables truly made the night. Thank you

Rude manager, cold steaks i asked for escargot without looking at the menu since it is digital now they gave me a lobster "escargot " dish and didn't even offer to send it back. Not coming there again

We made a reservation for 2 pm, got there and where told they were running with at least 30 minutes of delay and that we were welcome to wait with a drink that we had to pay. After that we were seated with tables very near to each other not 6ft apart, we ordered and part of our order never came. We were told that we might need to pay for it even though our food never arrived. Also the price for the NY strip we ordered is too high for the meat, as it’s not even high quality and it’s very small. The service was terrible and the food overpriced. Do not go to this restaurant

Rene the male hostess and his little flashlight doesn’t know what properly cooked steak should look like ... place sucks. Always been bottom tier in terms of Chicago steak.

Won’t be back. Hostess (Renee) looks like he needs the underground to open up so he can get back on door duty.

Get some hair plugs and some new suits you look awful in windowpane prints idiot.

It took 25 minutes to get a sever to even come by and give us place settings, water, and take our drink order. The food was sub-par for a restaurant of this caliber. I don’t mind paying $600-$700 for a party of 4, as long as the food is top notch and the service is as well. This is probably the 5th or 6th time that I’ve been here since they opened several years ago, and I’ve never had a great experience.

The host accommodated our request for a table near the river. Beautiful setting and a large patio with heaters at each table. Our waiter, Tyler, was very knowledgeable and polite. He certainly helped to make our dining experience that much more enjoyable. The food was delicious. I would recommend the lobsterscargot and bone-in ribeye. Can’t wait to go back!

This is one of our go-to restaurants in Chicago. They have plenty of outdoor seating now and have really improved the social distancing from when they first opened back up.

We sat outside and had a wonderful socially distanced evening: great views, delicious food, and attentive wait staff. We will go back as often as we can until we can't sit outside anymore due to the cold weather - and then we will order take out!

The best way to enjoy some of the last great weather in Chicago is having lunch on the terrace at Chicago Cut. It’s always an enjoyable time inside or out at Cut. The wait staff are all amazing and the food is outstanding.
