Chicago Cut Steakhouse is one of Chicago’s most iconic dining experiences in a city that boasts dozens of options for steak-centric dining. Our downtown Chicago steakhouse offers guests a selection of signature, USDA-certified prime beef that is hand-cut and dry-aged on site. Our curated menu also features fish, shellfish, chops and a selection of unique side dishes and appetizers. In addition to delicious martinis and specialty cocktails, Chicago Cut offers a wine list with more than 600 bottles that has been highlighted Wine Spectator, the world’s leading authority on wine. Our dining area features a lively bar scene, vibrant red velvet banquettes and spacious dining tables, private dining options and beautiful, sweeping views of the Chicago River. In the warm months, we also open our sprawling outdoor dining patio, which makes Chicago Cut an excellent spot for an outdoor brunch, lunch or dinner reservation along the river.

    Chicago Cut Steakhouse is always a favorite, great service and great food. Just have to know that when you eat outside, you are going to compete with trains, ambulances and boat noise! but being outside by the river is amazing!

    Chicago Cut always knocks it out of the park; the owners are always there to make sure everyone has a fantastic experience. Love sitting on the river, food was outstanding, Chicago Cut has the best dover sole in the city!

    Stellar Steak & Cake, Unexpectedly Casual We had a mixed experience at Chicago Cut. The filet mignon was absolutely superb – perfectly cooked, seasoned, and with a great crust. The chocolate cake was also a standout. Unfortunately, the brussel sprouts were chewy and bland. For a highly-regarded, high-end spot, the atmosphere was surprisingly casual, with many patrons in shorts and polo shirts. We did appreciate the staff asking a couple of guests to remove their ball caps. It was quite noisy, but offered a nice river view and an extensive wine list. Maybe it's dressier during the week with a business crowd. Go for the incredible steak and dessert!

    Service and food was absolutely incredible. Caoimhe, our waitress, was so kind and friendly. Congratulations on your graduation, Caoimhe! My gf loved everything about the food and we got engaged later that night!

    Everything was good. Not extravagantly awesome but good. I would come back but only to sit outside cause inside is a whole mess. Table and chairs literally up against each other like you can absolutely hear what everybody around u is talking about you're that close. Food was good. Didn't have steak this time so def next time I will so I won't comment about specific dishes but food was good. Drinks were great and our server was awesome. Seemed like more of an upscale hangout spot than an exclusive dinner restaurant. Thumbs up tho. 👍 Also shoutout to David Kaplan of ESPN 1000 who big ups the restaurant extensively. Izzy Da Mailman says howdy!
