High class restaurant, nice view of river, has valet parking if required. Attention to detail is excellent with plenty of staff on hand. Expert advice available on the steak options. Really enjoyable all round. Can recommend.

I've been to most of the finer steakhouses in Chicago, and this one ranks near, if not at the top of the list. The staff was cordial and relaxed, while remaining very professional. Our server Oscar was knowledgeable of the menu and gave excellent recommendations. Even the manager, Alfredo, spent time conversing with guests, beyond the obligatory, "how is everything". Now on to the meal. The sides were delectable, and our steaks were expertly prepared. I love a steakhouse that doesn't ruin the natural flavor of an aged steak by over-seasoning. Chicago Cut gets it right in this regard as well. I'll be a regular.

We had a great experience with excellent service. Robert made our evening. The food was good. We ordered the Chilean sea bass and NY strip with Brussels sprouts and truffles scalloped potatoes. The sea bass was phenomenal and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. The scalloped potatoes were good, but a little heavy on the truffle. My husband is not a huge truffle fan, so it was a bit much, but still really good! We also had crème brûlée and tiramisu for dessert. Both were really good. I don’t know that I would be able to pick a favorite.

Husband and I in town visiting had a an amazing dinner with a view . Shared the salmon & NY steak both were incredible . The steak was perfectly cooked paired it with , the mac n cheese & brussel sprouts . Will come back again

Amazing steak, generous sides and incredible service by Fred, including when he ran my portfolio out to me at the valet stand after I’d forgotten it at our table. The owner made a point of stopping by our table, acknowledging his relationship with my bank and the fact the retired CEO of our guest’s company was also dining there that night. I have the good fortune of dining at many fine restaurants around the country, but Chicago Cut goes above and beyond on all levels.

Sadly this was one of the worst meals I have had. We paid over $400 for inedible steak. Everything I mean everything was cold. They brought us a replacement, equally as cold. The special appetizer, the lobstercargot was thick cold globby cheese piled on lobster on top of rock hard bread pieces. The truffle scalloped potatoes had that same mess of hardened cheese on top and enough salt to fill a salt shaker. The steaks were small and ice cold and one had the price tag of $90. I do not mind paying for good food but really this was unreal. The only saving grace was the great waiter. Try other steak houses this one was loud with inedible food.

The food was good, but the sides were small for the price we paid. We felt that the food service was rushed. We were not able to sit and chat and enjoy the great view at all before our food was served. The ladies room was messy (cleaning supplies were the first thing you saw when you opened the door) and there were no paper towels. Again, for the price we paid, every detail should have been perfect.

First time to this restaurant. My wife and I overall enjoyed the experience. We had outdoor seating on the patio with lovely views of the Chicago river. The service was very good - waiter was friendly and attentive. The steak was great - we shared the bone in rib eye that was very juicy and tasteful and more than enough for my wife and I. The salad was disappointing - was not fresh but they removed off the bill. I would definitely recommend eating here.

We went here to celebrate our engagement. Our waiter was so helpful and polite, and accommodating of our dairy allergy. He recommended amazing wine and overall we had an incredible time! The complimentary dessert that said “Congratulations” was a really thoughtful touch.

This place is why and how I made the decision to finally pull the trigger and come BACK to Chicago one summer night last year having dinner w a gf on the patio. I had been in limbo living in CA for 46yrs but from Elmwood Park IL. I love the pulse and energy of the people here and the city and there is no better place to experience all of it but here! Food outstanding. View and ambiance genuine and incredible along with the trained hospitable servers and help. Nice to have some normal music here too vs that boom boom horrible music at most restaurants these days that is so overbearing and intrusive ruining the experience. I still have a warm weather home but have been here a year now as well! 🍷❤️

We had an amazing experience as always. Our server Robert from Poland was wonderful. We sat outside and looked at the city lights. We decided to go for an after dinner drink at the bar and he walked my key lime pie to the bar and then had the best service from Conner. Thank you Chicago Cut for the best experience when we visit our favorite city.

This was our favorite Chicago restaurant! We had a table outside and it was perfect. Our server, Nemo, was amazing. He took great care of us. We had the bone-in ribeye, black truffle scalloped potatoes and wedge salad - all were outstanding! The next time we visit Chicago, the Chicago Cut Steakhouse will be at the top of our dining list!

Service is 5/5 but where doesn’t this restaurant get off? I ordered the sea bass it was the size of a kiwi and cost $62. I ate it in 45 seconds. The east coast oysters (6) were tiny and were dry! Zero brine and barely large enough for a bite. Terrible. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was good but again- extremely expensive. We sat outside and the bees were out in full force, not the restaurant’s problem exactly but maybe tell ppl before they spend $150 pp for lunch (w/o alcohol) that we will be dining and fighting for lives out in the patio.

We rated our Sea Bass and prine rib on the bone, the best we''ve ever eaten. From the moment we walked in, we felt special. The staff is top-notch.
